Welcome to the Sunshine State Florida!

Our holiday villa Mariposa is located on a large private property in a very quiet, safe residential area in Lehigh Acres (directly at Ft. Myers located) and is going on vacation rentals in 2018. This extraordinarily and detailed Florida villa accommodates up to 6 people on its very spacious 193 sqm living space in 3 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms and a large, private pool.
Spend wonderful hours of sunshine in the mosquito-proof pool area from breakfast, enjoy nature, tranquility and cool off in between in the crystal-clear water. Your private pool is lavishly designed and impresses with the separately attached jacuzzi. We deliberately avoided using a solar system, which was not very effective, especially in the winter months, and had a new, energy-efficient pool heat pump installed in November 2017. This means that the water in both pools can be warmed up to the desired comfort temperature at the push of a button at any time of the year. This ensures that water fun is not neglected even in winter. A cover with the associated dispenser helps to ensure that the water does not lose heat even on a fresher day or night.

The world-famous, beautiful beaches of Fort Myers Beach, Naples, Bonita Springs or Sanibel & Captiva Island can also be reached by car in less than an hour. Bath towels as well as beach chairs, cool boxes and parasols are of course available in the house.
Do you like to go on extensive shopping tours? Then you are also in the right place here. The nearby malls, outlets or shopping centers in the Ft. Myers or Estero (Edison Mall, Gulf Coast Town Center, Miromar Outlets or Coconut Point) can be reached in 25 to 45 minutes and will tempt you to fill your bags in no time.
How about a day trip to the myriad of attractive destinations in your holiday area? For this, too, Lehigh Acres and our house are the ideal, absolutely central starting point. Is it an adventurous trip to Everglades’s natural paradise, possibly with a trip to South Beach in Miami? Maybe an exciting cultural excursion over the Sky Bridge and to the Dali Museum in St. Petersburg? Or escape to a completely different world and immerse yourself in the turbulent hustle and bustle of the world's only amusement parks from Orlando (Disney World or Universal) or Tampa (Busch Gardens). You will not regret it and start from the central location in Villa Mariposa.

Do you like to play golf? A simple golf course is in close proximity to the house. Other places are very easy to reach within a 10 to 15 minute drive.

We lived permanently in our house for about 7 years until the end of 2017. Therefore, the Villa Mariposa certainly differs in terms of the quality of the equipment and the details from most holiday properties that are offered on the market. We would be very happy if you, like us, "fall in love" with this dreamlike place and spend a hopefully unforgettable dream vacation in our house.

Ft. Myers (RSW) will be served by Eurowings from spring 2018 on a cheap direct flight from Munich and Cologne-Bonn. From this very informal airport, you can get to your vacation home in less than half an hour.
