This property has lots of room for a large group looking for space. Great location close to shopping & town and yet far enough away to enjoy the quiet evenings.

Loved it

I loved the location. Host was very nice and had a very quick response time. I loved that the master bedroom was downstairs and the other rooms upstairs.

Poor first impression turns into a better one

When you walk into the house, it is so stark that it gives a very poor impression. However, the house was clean and comfortable and the impression improved over time. The biggest problem we had was that the host was unavailable and we had a few problems - a smoke alarm beeping in a locked bedroom, and thermostats locked that were on heat instead of cool, that he should had made sure someone had proper keys and access to the thermostats to take care of these issues if he was not going to be in town.The house is poorly equipped and not stocked with items that are standard. Perhaps the host/owner is new and has not taken the time to do those things. I think the house is very nice and could be a nice place to stay if proper thought is taken to make it a little more comfortable. In spite of that our stay was oveerall good, especially for the price.

Nice house.... but

The house is a nice house in a great location. However, we had a few things that were not up to par. It is not stocked like you would expect in a VRBO that sleeps up to 8. 1. There were only 3 bath towels and 1 hand towel and no wash rags. We had to purchase some from the store for us to take showers. 2. Dishes for only 4 and no dishwasher detergent. We had to purchase paper plates, plastic cups, plastic ware (we left the paper plates and cups so there would be something for the next renters) 3. Only 1 pillow for each queen bed and 2 terrible ones for the king bed. We had to purchase some pillows due to how bad they were. We didn't leave these. 4. There was 1 trash bag. 5. Lights didn't work on the front porch. 6. Water was turned off for nonpayment for most of a day (water co told me this when they were turning it back on), On our last night, there was a water leak above the master bedroom. (I understand this isn't something that could have been prevented) 7. We noticed a smell when we entered the house and found bananas in the cabinet below the bar. 8. Oven is in need of a major cleaning. 9. The freezer makes a lot of noise (like wake you up at night noise) and there were things still in it. Overall, The house is a nice house, it just needs more put into it for it to be what I expect for a VRBO. To say basic necessities were lacking would be an understatement. I don't expect to have to purchase things such as linens, and dishes etc when renting a VRBO. Or have the water turned off on me during my stay. I would not recommend this house.

Don’t waste your money!! You will definitely regret booking this home.

Home had dirty dishes in the dishwasher upon arrival also the upstairs toilet was constantly running immediately contacted the owner who was really nice at first about the issues once I contacted VRBO to let them know about the issues the owner became very uncooperative and refused to fix the issues he told me that the dishes in the dishwasher were not a big inconvenience and I could wash the dishes myself as far as the toilet he originally instructed me not to use it and to use the other toilets downstairs( which was an inconvenience to the guest upstairs). After contacting VRBO twice he then called a plumber to fix the toilet but they would not come until three days into our five day stay which would not work as that was my wedding day he then decided to say there was nothing wrong with the toilet and he was not going to send someone out when in the original messages he agreed that the toilet constantly running was not normal and he wanted to get it fixed. He constantly watched the ring camera which made me very uncomfortable as it was as if he was definitely invading our privacy. The owner threaten to kick us out when we were within the limits of the number of people are allowed to stay at the home. The House is in the middle of a neighborhood so the parking is very scarce luckily his neighbors were very sweet and let us park in front of their homes as he told us we could not park in front of his home even though we were occupying the home. I rented this home as I was in the area for the week of my wedding he definitely added more stress than necessary. On day three of the stay he sent the cleaners by to in his words “press the button for me on the dishwasher” as he stated this could have been done by me but in reality if I am paying a cleaning fee the home should have been clean properly upon my arrival. We never asked for a refund only for the problems to be resolved VRBO asked him to compensate us for the inconvenience and he refused he messaged me saying he would not compensate me for anything .I would definitely not recommend anyone to rent this home as the owner was very rude and uncomfortable

It was a great home to come back to after work, till i went to extend my stay for another week and the host upped the price $300 more than what we paid the first week so we had to leave.
