Welcome to Gunsmoke cabin, the not so "tiny" cabin in the woods with a private hot tub & fenced in back yard.
~600sf of cozy cabin, 4 acres with 2 ponds in the community to roam. ~Plenty of parking for your off road toys.
~Within 15 minutes to boat launch and lake.
~Downtown Ellijay is also 15 minutes for great places to eat, shop and stroll..
~Great for people who love the outdoors, privacy, hiking, biking, boating or have off road vehicles.
If you prefer, just relax on the porch listening to the sound of birds chirping in the north Georgia mountains.
~There is also plenty of room to stretch out on the back deck sipping coffee or enjoying the hot tub.
~Large master bedroom with king size bed & private bathroom.
~There is a cozy bunk room for kids and tons of outdoor room to play! ~The kitchen is stocked with everything you need from coffee, creamer, sugar, spices and all the pots & pans that you need to cook any meal.
~The bathroom even has shampoo, conditioner, body wash, blow dryer and curling iron with plenty of towels.

**Max amount of guests is strictly 2 Adults & 2 Children
**Please book all guests or pets at time of booking.
**Dogs are welcome with a one time $75 fee

We enjoyed our stay at the Gunsmoke cabin! We brought along our two dogs so the fenced in back yard was a game changer. The cabin was clean and everything was fully stocked with anything we would need. Neighbors are pretty far and the property is surrounded by lots of trees, so very private. Host is very friendly and responds super fast! Lots of outside motion lighting, which is great because it gets super dark out there. It is on a dirt road but it’s not too rough for the average car and it’s nice there is a functioning gate at the front of the community. I would recommend this place to anyone and if we ever return to Ellijay, we will be back!

Perfect place to get away! Easy to get to and beautiful surroundings! There’s a lot of things to go and do in the area and a bunch of good food. The owners were awesome as well!

The cabin was easy to find with gps and easy to get up to in our Corolla. We both loved the view of the beautiful starry sky while relaxing in the hot tub. We had all the amenities we needed and no issues. Activities we did during our stay were chess, cards, horseshoes, hiking, horseback riding, and zip lining. There is a Dollar General less than a mile away, which was really convenient for snacks and drinks. It's pretty secluded, and we loved the privacy. We brought our dog and she enjoyed it, too. The fenced in backyard was great and they even had dog treats which I completely forgot to bring! We grilled steaks on our last night and enjoyed the fire pit. All in all, it was a great trip and we look forward to going again.

Overall it was okay. The outside porch and deck was not clean on top of the refrigerator was very dusty spider web everywhere, the oven did not work and very low water pressure.

We had a wonderful stay! The cabin was clean, cozy, and exactly as described

The peaceful surroundings made it a perfect getaway from the city. We especially enjoyed the outdoor space—whether it was sipping coffee on the porch or stargazing at night. Secluded getaway

Amazing host and property! Loved our stay at Gunsmoke. We used it as a landing spot to travel all over northern Georgia. Honestly would have loved to spend more time relaxing in this beautiful little cabin. Would recommend an AWD vehicle to get up the steep, gravel road to the property.

Wonderful Cabin

I had a wonderful stay. Cabin was clean and well-kept. Lots of instructions for basics around the cabin, which made the stay much more enjoyable and relaxing. Not too isolated, but very peaceful area.

Quaint retreat

My wife and I, and our little puppy stayed here to celebrate my 47th birthday. Loved, loved, loved it. Close enough to town, but far enough away for peace and quiet. Everything was excellent.

Quiet and cozy

It was the perfect cabin for our return to Ellijay. Cabin is secluded so you won’t see neighbors, giant bed is cozy and perfect for after a long day of hiking up mountains. Was also perfect for our dogs.

Cozy little getaway

Our stay at Gunsmoke was terrific: Clean, cozy, well-appointed. really comfy King-sized bed! Great location: not far from town, but well-away from the hustle-bustle. Smart TVs are a plus: watched plenty of football. Had a clear evening when we enjoyed some star-gazing. Looking forward to a return trip - highly recommend!

Wonderful Cabin

My dogs & I spent the weekend at this cabin & everything about it was great! It was the perfect getaway for the 3 of us. I highly recommend this property & the host. Communication with them was great & if anything was needed, they were quick to respond. I would love to stay again!

Good quiet place

Nice clean smallish cabin. Not too small though.Everything was well thought out and nice and clean. The only problem I ran into was not one that could be fixed. In the winter this particular hot tub drops in temp quickly after the cover is removed. Not a problem if you spend short times in it.

Ellijay is the little slower, little quieter then most towns. You have more chance to see everything here then getting consumed in a big city.
Why not Ellijay, it's amazing here!
We fell in love with this sweet little cabin at first sight. I love that it's tiny but so roomy at the same time. We feel so relaxed and comfortable here.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

So much room to run around in the open property.. Place a game of horseshoes, badminton or just sit by the fire & knowing our dogs are safe in the fenced back yard is a huge bonus!.. You feel so far away from everything yet only 15 minutes from town.
