I really needed this getaway. The bed was so comfy that I threatened to steal the mattress. It had everything I needed. The beach was just a few minutes away and absolutely wonderful. The pool was perfect. The host was so attentive to my needs. It was perfect. I woke up on my last day and my first thought was that I didn't want to leave.

Much needed vacation

We couldn’t have wished for a better place to stay.. The Blue Angels were an unexpected treat and thoroughly enjoyed! We most definitely will be booking this residence again

Pool side Villa

Overall, the property was exactly as promised. We enjoyed our stay and had plenty of privacy. It was a tad bit awkward with it being at someone’s home and in the back of the house, but not a showstopper.

it was not at all what we expected instead of being a one bedroom its a one room

it was very troublesome to have to travel with all your luggage and groceries around a walkaway through a fence to the back of the house where the guest room is located. the furniture was nice but there was o weak chaise lounge chair as one of our guest sat on it it broke. i informed the owner and after our stay she invoiced me. i was under the impression that owner's should up keep and service their property

As a host, this is a very disappointing response and review. We have pictures in the listing of all angles and have made a point to communicate with the guests before, during, and after the stay to ensure all questions are answered and any issues are handled asap. As seen in all the pictures of the listing it is a villa / studio space of 550 ft equipped with a full kitchen, full living space, and full bath. There is a dedicated space in the driveway to a paved walkway of approx 50ft. to the rental with no steps. We’ve made many concessions to accommodate all guests. You would be hard pressed to find a rental where you do not have to walk or go up and down steps to the space. My experience with all previous guests has been one of respect for the space and if damage happened, they were willing to replace or repair the damage. Unfortunately, this guest has yet to pay the invoice mentioned. Due to this situation and with recommendations from VRBO, we have added rental insurance to the listing. Our highest priorities are comfort, cleanliness, and communication for our guests, and, as always, hope for a wonderful and relaxing experience!

Location! Location! Location!

Thank you, Sarah! Your communication and recommendations were outstanding. Your place was adorable! On the plus side: the heated salt water private pool (perfect); the privacy (very quiet and peaceful); the location was perfect (heading to Perdido or Orange Beach, or in the opposite direction to Pensacola City); Johnson Beach (very nice); the restaurants: Jelly Fish (good sushi); Cobalt (Easter Brunch), Hub Stacey's at the Point (delicious sandwiches); Fisherman's Corner ( THE best bread-pudding); Bad 'Ass' Coffee of Hawaii (good chai tea and coffee); Taqueria El Asador (by far THE best Mexican food we've ever had); the Blue Dolphin Tour of the lagoon ( we spotted a mama pod with their babies...they swam right up to us); the Blue Angels practicing maneuvers right over the house (our own private show for an hour). Sooo many plusses! In the minus column are things I already briefed you on: the major ones...it's too bright to get a good sleep because the sun beams through the windows at daybreak (we tried sleep masks, but were not able to sleep until the last two nights when I hung beach towels over the windows); the bed wasn't very comfortable because of the headboard, not the mattress (there's a large space between the headboard and the mattress but after I shoved two pillows in the divide, it was tolerable; we had to put the bed on a diagonal so my husband wasn't shoved up against the window and drapes, and could then get out in the middle of the night to use the bathroom without waking me; there was a loose chair in the dining area (thankful my husband didn't fall and get hurt); You know the other recommendations that are minor that I shared with you privately. If you make a few adjustments, your place would be GREAT! Taking all into account, and if your future guests can stand a very bright early morning wake-up because of the sun, we still give you an overall 5...your responsiveness, the privacy, and private heated pool pushed us to an overall rating of 5.
