Brand new sleek & stylish studio in the core of Arcata, 3 blocks from Plaza. Simplicity at it's finest! This brand new contemporary studio was designed for guests craving a quality stay in Arcata with comfort & style in mind. Perfect for an easy, relaxing getaway furnished with a quality King bed, gas fireplace & fully stocked kitchen. The home features a large Smart T.V. for a cozy night in! Conveniently located just footsteps to downtown Arcata, and less than a five minute drive to Cal Poly Humboldt. Take an easy stroll to visit Saturday's farmer's market on the Plaza. Enjoy walking to the vibrant nightlife and sampling the delicious local brews, cider bar, wine tasting and one of a kind restaurants. Onsite parking is limited to 1 compact vehicle only.

Important Notes:

** Guest reserving home must be 25 years or older, be staying at the property the entire time and will be considered the responsible party for this booking.

** Upon completion of booking reservation guests will be required to sign a rental agreement agreeing to Trinidad Retreats rules and regulations.

** Sorry this cottage is suitable for adults only, no children and NOT pet friendly.

** No washer/dryer.

I loved the big comfy bed and how clean and modern everything was. I was very comfortable! It was nice to be so close to Los bagels and downtown plaza, too. I was very impressed and I will come back soon!

Stayed here while we were moving our kid into Cal Poly Humboldt. Very awesome location to downtown with so many options for coffee shops and restaurants. The studio was perfect for 2 people and equipped with all that we needed. The gas fireplace is awesome and gives out good heat and makes the room very cozy. Will definitely stay here again when we come up to visit our student.

This little studio is the cutest place to stay! It was perfect for our nights we stayed there to visit the Redwood National Park. The surrounding area offers very nice dining and coffee options and the studio was easy to access, very clean, quiet and comfortable, and we enjoyed every minute of our stay.

Relaxing Stay As Always

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I visit my daughter at Cal Poly Humboldt from time to time, and this cozy little studio has become my go-to spot. It’s within easy walking distance of the square, always spotless, and has such a warm, welcoming feel that it truly feels like a home away from home.This recent stay was lovely overall, but I did notice a couple of small things that could make it even better. The outdoor trash bins seemed either not to have been emptied or were being used by others, which made it tricky to dispose of my own trash and recycling. Additionally, the pillows have become quite soft and offered very little support — perhaps a mix of firmer and softer options would suit more guests’ preferences. Lastly, the bed itself felt a bit too soft near the headboard; when I sat up to work on my laptop, I sank lower than my TV tray.Still, these are small issues compared to the comfort and convenience this studio offers. I’ll definitely continue staying here whenever I’m in town — it’s such a charming and dependable place to land.

Great check in and communication. Shopping on the main square was about 10 min away. Drive to grocery store was easy. Walked to winery and Thai food. Would say it's a convenient spot for Arcata.

Convenient comfortable stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and I were in town to vend a quilt show. The house was just minutes walk away from some fun dining options including a fun bagel/bakery I highly recommend. The bed was extremely comfortable. A few things to note,: there is a ton of ambient light so it's never really dark. This didn't bother my husband but made it difficult for me to sleep. I would bring a sleep mask next time. There is no good place to put luggage so ours stayed open on the floor (not ideal for old folks with sore backs). Lastly the hot water in the shower doesn't get much past warm. I prefer a near scalding shower, so it may not be that noticeable for most. It is a cute little place that met our needs and was very reasonably priced.also to note, the driveway feels like it should just be for the is shared. Park to far left. Overall, we would return. Would have loved to have time to explore the neighborhood.

We stayed two nights in this cute little studio, and it perfectly suited our needs. It's close to the Plaza, right around the corner from Los Bagels, and many of Arcata's funky little shops.

Beautiful Studio

We will be back and recommendations

We did want to provide a few recommendations. 1) Secure outdoor bike parking would be appreciated; we had to park our bikes in the kitchen overnight. 2) The bed is tilted so our heads were downhill. We both noticed it and even put a level on it to make sure we weren’t crazy. It might be do to the rug that is only under the foot-side legs or the floor could be tilted. 3) The adjacent house kitchen has no privacy. We could here everything out the close kitchen window. 4) Lastly, top down shades would have allowed us to use natural light and still felt private. Bottom up shades are show belly bottoms or lower and are so pointless IMO.

You can walk to downtown Arcata in mere minutes.
