Potter's Bungalow - Near Downtown Plaza, 3 bed

A 20% courtesy discount has been applied to the rent until May 1st, 2026 due to the new multi unit construction project underway at the property next door. Work hours 8 am - 6 pm, Monday - Saturday.

This 1936 Craftsmen inspired, vintage bungalow has been completely restored by an artist so that you can unwind in style. It has just the right combination of color and comfort. The exterior has been painted a warm, sunny yellow creating a very warm welcome. The splash of red in the kitchen adds to its rustic charm. Guests will enjoy how cozy this home feels. Less than 1000 square feet of creatively utilized space offering everything you need for a fabulous getaway. The family/dining room is open to the kitchen with breakfast bar. Enjoy hanging out watching a movie on the Smart T.V. with Cable, Play a game or dine at the cafe- style table. Three well-appointed bedrooms offer sleeping for up to 6 guests with a King, Queen and 2 twin beds. The tile work in the bathroom and one-of-a-kind light fixtures are small works of art. The bathroom has a stall shower.

Take a 12 minute stroll or use the bikes and visit the Plaza in downtown Arcata or enjoy our famous Farmer's Market for fresh, local organic offerings, food and music. This home is a five minute drive from Cal Poly Humboldt! Enjoy cooking in the fully equipped kitchen or stop and eat at any of the great restaurants on The Plaza. Sit outside on the front porch and enjoy cocktails or start your day there with a warm cup of coffee. The Greenview Market located across the adjacent pasture is super convenient for last minute items. Indoor laundry makes your stay even easier. Will welcome 1 dog to stay too!

Important Notes:

** Guest reserving home must be 25 years or older, be staying at the property the entire time and will be considered the responsible party for this booking.

** Upon completion of booking reservation guests will be required to sign a rental agreement agreeing to Trinidad Retreats rules and regulations.

** This home IS pet friendly for 1 dog only with a pet fee. Dog must not be left unattended inside or outside of the home.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was very comfortable. Would stay here again if the opportunity arises. The light in the shower takes awhile to brighten up, and the one over the toilet isn't bright, but otherwise all other lights are great. Suggestion for the future, a higher toilet.

Cute cottage with nice comfy spaces. Would have been excellent if the yard was fully enclosed, but the pup biscuits and towels to wipe feet were great. Also the shower was nice hot water and good pressure. Well appointed kitchen, we made a nice spaghetti dinner. Good location to check out the area.

Charming, comfortable house and property! We were worried there might be constuction noise from next door but we didnt hear anything the entire stay. Nice quiet neighrborhood and market just down the street was super convenient. It was a little tight with 4 adults and one bathroom but we managed. Large beds were comfortable but the two twins were a bit "springy" All.in all a great stay!

Property management responded promptly with my questions after we arrived. The house is a cute, little place that was just about right for my family. We stayed here before 2 years ago and it was just as good the second time. The house itself is pet friendly, but as you can see in the photos the yard isn't fully fenced. Not a problem for us, but if you have a runner be aware. The house is walkable to the plaza and many restaurants.

Cute place and great for a two night stay. Nice walk into town and easy to park. House was fine, nothing special and no extras. Had what we needed and big enough for the two of us, would be perfect for a family too. Easy instructions and no problem getting in. Was a bit humid overnight in there, so not sure what it would be like in summer, as we went in September. Super communicative and friendly host which was great, although tone of the written 'rules' was not really welcoming.

The house has everything you need. It was a good for the location to be able to get to places that we needed to be The only downfall for me was the beds were really hard other than that. The Potter's Bungalow was delightful! It had everything our party of 5 needed. It is attractive, clean, comfortable, quiet, and located in a really cute area. We walked to the Farmer's Market. If I return to the area, this is where I want to stay.

Très jolie maison spacieuse et décorée avec beaucoup de goût.On se sent comme à la maison !Quartier résidentiel calme, parfait pour notre séjour avec la proximité du Redwood National Park qui est fantastique. Adorable Bungalow

Cute, clean and cozy! Wonderful amenities - everything you need is here! Outstanding communication from property management and loved the shower! Great location for a starting point to Trinidad, Klamath, Fern Canyon, and all the incredible Redwood hikes. Incredibly close to town center of Arcata and some awesome restaurants. Also, Northern California has some of the nicest locals we have encountered in our frequent travels. Book this place!

Excellent Location, Small But Homey

Walkable to the Arcata Plaza. The house is small, but we were able to comfortably eat and play board games. The twin beds really need new matresses. Other beds were comfortable.
