Mountainside Chalet Chic - pool beach access

Welcome to endless outdoor adventures in the heart of the Poconos on Jack Frost Mountain! We are mid-Mountain, one of the highest altitude homes in Snow ridge Village, on Telstar, the first row of homes after the lodge and parking lots at Jack Frost Ski area. When mother nature has provided enough snow, the home is ski in/out!

A short drive will take you to Hickory Run state park or head to Split Rock to enjoy the H2O waterpark, bowling alley, arcade and movie theatre.

At the end of the day our 2 bedroom (4 beds) 1.5 bath townhouse will welcome you home. Grill a meal on the back deck, curl up in front of the wood-burning fireplace, and bring out the board games.

Our home is cozy and comfortable with a complete modern rustic renovation in 2021: new floors, freshly painted walls, all new stainless steel appliances, new kitchen, new bathrooms, and all new furnishings including brand new mattresses, pillows, sofas and linens.

We have a wood burning fireplace, all the kitchen essentials you might need to whip up a home-cooked meal, and lots of board games to keep you entertained on a rainy day.

For our youngest guests we have kids utensils, plastic plates and cups, a baby bath, a highchair and a mini-crib. We also have a small selection of kids books/puzzles.

You'll get the most out of this area with a car.

Although one could arrive by Martz bus (to Blakeslee or Stroudsburg or Mount Pocono) and Uber/taxi to this home (10 minute drive from Blakeslee, 30-40 minutes drive from Stroudsburg/Mount Pocono), we believe having a car would optimize your ability to enjoy the surrounding areas.

Ubers are typically available but the region is not densely populated and you may need to wait for your ride. Lake Harmony Tourismo may be able to help you by scheduling transfers in advance:

There is an Enterprise car rental facility 15 miles away.

UberEats will deliver here, limited selection, mainly fast food.

Instacart delivers! They did charge a $5 long distance fee. When adding our address type in zip 18624 and town of Blakeslee (there is a bit of a mismatch here, officially we're part of Lake Harmony) and you should be able to see available deliveries.

**Ski In/Out details: walk about a minute to the cul-de-sac, take Caribou trail - exits where Frosty meets Ridge Run (blue), just about at the base of Pocono chairlift**
**When coming in for a hot chocolate, lunch or at the end of the day, look for the "Bobcat trail" off of Frosty Run. This small gently down hill path through a wide path in the woods will take you to the back door within a minute or two**
**if you prefer not to ski in/out (perhaps a beginner skier or for some other reason) you can drive to Jack Frost (about a 2 minute drive). Our home is just past parking lot 12. Walking to the lodge is possible from our home, but uphill (equivalent to walking from parking lot 12)!

You have access to the whole home other than a locked off owner's closet.

In the summer our guests have access to Boulder Lake Club on Big Boulder Lake about 10 minutes drive away. This includes access to an outdoor pool and a beach where you can rent boats/kayaks. Access to the summer amenities (lake, pool, tennis, basketball, access to reasonably priced boat rentals) is FREE for up to 6 guests via guest passes. Guests may purchase additional passes should there be additional guests. Present with proof of rental and you will be provided with a wristband for the day**

HOUSE RULES AND ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS:
Home includes a bunk bed that may not be suitable for all guests and guests acknowledge it is used at their own risk.
There is an outdoor propane grill which may be used by guests at their own discretion and risk.
There is a wood-burning fireplace which may be used by guests at their own discretion and risk.
This home is surrounded by nature including areas of uneven ground outside the home which may not be suitable for all guests. Use of the home and surrounding areas is at guests own discretion and risk.
Participation in Skiing/boarding/tubing/swimming and other activities are at the guests own discretion and risk.
Guests must avoid parking directly in front of the path to the home as this is bothersome to our neighbor!
Please do not park on the grass behind the home or in front of the home- this is not a parking area - you will be charged $200 per offense if caught parking on the lawn/grass (HOA fines for parking infractions!)
