Had a great time! Beautiful home with lots of space and room to move around for everyone! Fun to use pool and hot tub after a long day of skiing. Plenty of parking..even with all the snow of winter! Host/hostess was very communicative and helpful.

Amazing beautiful home, full of all the amenities you could ever need! The pool, hot tub and the new patio are perfect for anyone’s stay! Great place to relax beside the stately fireplace and outside fire-pits. The basement is full of entertainment with a karaoke machine, pool table and ping pong table, we were never bored! Enough comfy beds for everyone! This was our 4th year staying here, so you know we love it! The host is very responsive and accommodating, can’t wait to go back!

Beautiful location and the home was mostly perfect. Pool is a major plus. Being on the Carrabassett river was fantastic for the kids to tube in. This part of Maine is full of beautiful waterfalls and lakes.

We had a Great time! The house is close to the mountain, and town. When your there you would never need to leave! I would stay here again.

Great for a ski weekend away

Came with a large group of friends and we enjoyed the home for a ski weekend at Sugarloaf. Had some quirks but overall was good for a big group - everything from pans to tea bags to firewood was provided.

Fabulous Holiday Home

We had a family Thanksgiving gathering and this home was the absolute best! Plenty of room for all ages to enjoy and the center fireplace provided cozy family time! The hosts were very responsive to all our questions and they provided lots of amenities. The indoor pool and hot tub was beautiful and enjoyed by all! We loved our time here!!

Amazing vacation

The house was just as amazing as it looks in the pictures. We loved our stay. The indoor pool and hot tub were a big hit! The hosts were the best we have ever had. Very responsive and kind.

Scenic Riverfront

Overall, the stay was good. A perfect amount of privacy and the river in the backyard was THE place to hangout. Surface level cleanliness was good, however we did find some leftover foods in kitchen drawers and other nooks and crannies from previous guests.

marathon weekend

We had a great long weekend, in town for the Sugar Loaf Marathon. The house was wonderful the hot tub perfect for after the marathon. Karen and Llyod were very easy and accommodating to work with. We would not hesitate to book again if our travels brought us back to Kingfield. Thanks for a wonderful stay!!

Neighborhood ski vacation

Wow! We had a blast! Everything about this house was perfect. We maxed it out with 16 people, and there was plenty of room. Lloyd and Karen were great hosts, very attentive. The pool and hot tub were a great feature. We were super comfortable. We’d definitely recommend this gorgeous property. Five stars!

great family retreat

Stayed at this house for our yearly family ski trip. Second time here. It's got a great space for all the kids to hang out in the bunk room. Rest of the house is great. Pool was available this year which was a big hit with the hot tub. ditch was well equipped. Will plan to return next year..

Sugarloaf 2025

What a beautiful home! This is the second time we've stayed at this property. The house is always very clean. The kitchen is stocked with all the necessities for staying in and making a home-cooked meal. There was plenty of space for all of us. The teens got to stay together in the bunk room - plenty of space there. The pool and hot tub were great after a day of skiing. We spent a lot of time downstairs in the game room playing pool and darts. I highly recommend this house!

Family Thanksgiving

Amazing home for a family gathering. The owners are very responsible and always updating their home! Lots of bathroom amenities in case you forget anything! The basement bedroom is perfect for all the young and older children with lots of toys and games! We were there in the winter and the beds all had heated mattress pads! The pool and hot tub are the perfect addition and makes you feel like you are in a spa hotel! This was our third time renting this beautiful home! The fireplace is breathtaking, the basement is a perfect place for kids and adults to play, plenty of space for a large family gathering. Highly recommend this home for your next gathering!

Beautiful Lodge!

We had the most amazing time at Iron Bridge Lodge! Both Karen and Lloyd were wonderful hosts, ready to answer any question at a moment’s notice. Their house is gracious and cozy at the same time. Plenty of space for 12-16 people, with bathrooms that were filled with the essentials. The property is beautiful with the water right behind you as well as the swimming pool and hot tub to enjoy. We loved sitting around and having meals in the kitchen/dining area as well as toasting our two graduates with champagne. It was a warm and inviting place to have a large group stay and make lasting memories. Thank you for letting us enjoy this beautiful property during a very special time for our family and dear friends.

Great Big Family Ski Getaway Cabin

This grand, spacious cabin was perfect for our group of 4 families. We loved the expansive downstairs bunk room and well-stocked playroom for the kids as well as the large upstairs living room with a two-sided fireplace. Lovely decor throughout with thoughtful touches, like games, a record player, great bathroom amenities, and cozy throw blankets throughout the property. Bedroom temperatures were variable, so if you are temperature-sensitive, consider bringing extra blankets. The pool house looked awesome, but there was an issue with the heater during our stay so the pool wasn’t warm. However, our hosts were very communicative about the pool heater issue and even helped us get an afternoon at the heated pool in the Sugarloaf Activity Center. The hot tub was working great and our group loved using it. The cabin was our base for a ski trip at Sugarloaf (15 min drive) and worked out great for our group of 16 with kids aged 5-15. Our whole group was really charmed by this special property.

So much fun!!!

Nine adults shared this house for a wedding at Sugarloaf. We had a blast. Mountain is about 20 minutes away. The game room was a huge hit and same with the pool and hot tub area. Every question we had was answered so quickly as Karen is an incredibly responsive and thorough host. I would definitely encourage bringing drinking water. There is a strong sulfur smell but easy to resolve with bottled water. The top floor serves as a perfect master suite area with a bedroom, bath with shower and hot tub and loft in between. Three bedrooms on main floor and bunkhouse with game room in basement. There is plenty of room to cook and hang out around the round kitchen table. Just a short path to the river is a nice bonus. We all loved this property. So glad we found it and would definitely stay again.

It's Not Just a House

We walked in, turned on the lights and started a fire. The family arrived and it quickly became a "A Miracle on 34th Street". Beautiful spaces for all family members, amazing kitchen and play areas, a basement to entertain, all were absolutely accommodating! A sensational experience that we have not experienced before and plan to replicate again at this amazing home. The owners were very responsive to all our inquiries while they were in a time zone 6 hours ahead. Thank you for providing a indelible memory that my family will always remember. Highly recommend this home, just not when we want it!! Nothing required from tissues to turkey basters; they provided it all! Special touches like lots of body lotion and shampoo, conditioner and bath soap in all bathrooms! Plenty of bath towels. All the kitchen appliances you would ever need. Never a few inches away from a comfy throw for warmth!
