The Space:

Privacy and togetherness - Red Canyon Ranch boasts ample room for everyone. Six bedrooms spread across two floors provide privacy, while two living rooms and a formal sitting area create inviting spaces to gather or relax.



A warm welcome awaits as you enter the charming formal sitting room. Unwind in the plush seating and enjoy a relaxing conversation, or gather around the piano for a fun sing-along.



Next, step into the heart of the home - the inviting main living space. With an open floor plan and ample seating, it's the perfect place to unwind after a day of adventure, whether you're sharing stories, enjoying a movie night, or simply savoring quiet moments of relaxation.



Mornings begin peacefully at the breakfast bar, with a steaming cup of coffee from the Keurig (we provide the pods) and breathtaking desert views. The fully equipped kitchen beckons you to create delicious meals to be enjoyed together around the dining table, or take the feast outdoors for a memorable BBQ on the back deck. The kitchen is stocked with all the essentials, boasting a toaster for quick mornings, a crock pot for slow-cooked meals, a griddle (pancakes!), pots & pans and baking dishes for oven-baked delights.



Embrace serenity in the Master Suite. The king-size bed promises a restful night's sleep, while the window seat provides a tranquil spot to sip your morning tea and soak in the views. Prepare for your day in the ensuite bathroom with a refreshing shower.



Relax and reset in Upstairs Guest Bedroom #1. This charming retreat is bathed in natural light, and features a queen bed and a window seat great for curling up with a good book.



Unwind and recharge in Upstairs Guest Bedroom #2, conveniently located just across the hall. Sink into the comfortable queen bed for a peaceful night's sleep, or take a seat at the charming antique vanity and get ready for your day at your own pace.



Freshen up with ease in the upstairs guest bathroom. Featuring a shower/tub combination, this well-appointed space also provides all the essentials you need - shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.



Head down the stairs to discover a second haven for relaxation and fun! The expansive downstairs living room boasts comfy seating and a large TV, ideal for watching your favorite shows. Downstairs Guest Bedroom #2 beckons with another plush queen bed, inviting you to relax and rest easy. This room also offers a lovely window seat.



Downstairs Guest Bedroom #3 caters to families! This expansive space features two queen beds, ensuring a comfortable sleep for everyone. A Pack & Play is readily available for your little one. Generous closet space ensures all your belongings stay organized.



There's no shortage of ways to enjoy the outdoors at Red Canyon Ranch. Whether you're grilling up a storm on the propane barbecue, savoring a meal on the upstairs deck, or spreading out a picnic blanket under the open sky, there's plenty to delight in. This house was lovingly built by Evan and Joyce. Here, they raised their five children and witnessed the joy of eighteen grandchildren. It's our own little sanctuary in the red hills, a place filled with cherished memories. May your stay be filled with the same warmth and happiness.

The Neighborhood:

Squaw, K-Hill, and Tom's Canyon trailheads, offering scenic and peaceful hikes, are just a short stroll away. The renowned Hog Canyon UTV trail system is just minutes away.



There's plenty to do with state and national parks nearby, but if you're looking for something more low-key for a day or two, consider the local hikes featured on the flyers in our house book: Squaw, Bunting and K-hill, all offering wonderful views. As well, Jacob Hamblin park has a playground, field, pool with slides, splash pad, and tennis/pickleball courts; Kanab City Library is nearby and often has books for sale; Ranchos Park has great baseball fields; Best Friends Animal Sanctuary has great guided tours (they welcome donations). Also consider the local restaurants, bakeries, and ice cream shops.



Getting Around:

This home has convenient access to Hwy 89A/89 which takes you to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, Zion and Bryce National Parks, Lake Powell, as well as the north rim of the Grand Canyon. Just minutes away from downtown Kanab, this home makes accessing local restaurants, shops, and grocery stores easy!



Here in southern Utah a vehicle is required to get around in town and beyond. We recommend a 4WD vehicle with high clearance if you intend to go off-road to out of the way places.



Page, AZ airport is 1 hour away; St. George, UT airport is 1.5 hours away; Las Vegas airport is 3 hours away.

For the safety of our property and our guests, we have cameras around the perimeter of the property. Some of the cameras are monitoring the front/back door as well.
