Picture yourself relaxing on one of the most beautiful beaches that the sunshine state has to offer. This one of a kind unit located on Manasota Key right in the heart of Englewood, Florida. One of Florida’s most sought out spots for beach living.

This condo is direct gulf front and features an amazing, heated pool and boasts a large sun deck overlooking the Gulf of Mexico, complete with an outdoor cooking space, shower area, parking and a short walk or bike ride to many popular restaurants and shops.

Bring your boat! There are 6 boat slips just across the road available for your use on a first come basis, but they are rarely all being used at the same time.

Located on the third floor, with a large balcony, the gulf views are picture perfect, and the view never gets old.

This unit is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath, with an open floor plan. It is fully furnished and has a completely equipped kitchen.

No pets. No smoking or vaping. ***Due to hurricanes the sundeck and boat dock will be brought back to property at a later date

Ok one thing the fans had so much dirt on it. It has not been cleaned for a while floors had big black stains of the carpet in the people are very rude. And when was you allowed not to have visitors my grandchildren came over to go in the pool and they complained about it and they did not make no noise. There was a lady there that was very rude to us and my husband about my grandkids I won’t write from you guys again from them people.

Wonderful views, local food was great and in walking distance, host was easy to contact and quick to respond. Lots of shark teeth and shells to be found and an easy drive to pick up essentials. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you!

Ive been coming to Manasota Key for over 15 years and this was a fantastic unit, easy process and great location, of course. We plan on coming back again and will try to rent this same unit. Plenty of room, washer/dryer a big plus for sure so you may pack lightly.

We’ve been vacationing on Manasota Key for decades but this was our first stay at this property. It was an excellent experience and we definitely plan on returning! Unit and property were very clean, Tavia was communicative and easy to work with, and the location & views were exceptional. Unit is just steps to both the beach & pool. Beautiful sunsets and the beach is great for finding shells and sharks’ teeth. We were in desperate need of a very quiet and relaxing vacation and this checked every box! Thanks Tavia for a great stay!

Wonderful views and right on the beach! Kitchen, baths, bedrooms all as described. Owner was a pleasure to deal with. It is a top unit so there are stairs, but didn’t cause us any problem (without which, you wouldn’t have such an incredible view!) Pool and other outdoor areas well maintained. Definitely recommend!

Our vacation was thoroughly enjoyable, and the view was fantastic. The condo was super clean and had everything we needed and then some. We rarely used our car as we were in walking distance to multiple local restaurants. Hope to be back in the near future.

We had the absolute best time! The condo was well appointed, steps from the beach, and a very short walk to some great restaurants with live music! Tavia was readily available for questions, and so incredibly nice! My son has said this was the best vacation he has ever had and has requested to come back next year!

Most beautiful views

We had a bumpy start BUT the hosts were so accommodating and pleasurable to work with. After the first day we didn't have to contact them for anything which made the vacation even more relaxing for us. My parents stayed on the bottom floor and my husband and I stayed in the loft. I honestly thought it was a closed in bedroom with just a loft area but it is fully opened. Only privacy is the bathroom in the loft. Even so, we still had the best experience overall. I will definitely book with the hosts again and at this condo. It is conveniently located to attractions and the views are amazing!

Wonderful Beach Getaway!

My wife is a shark-tooth hunting fanatic and this was a perfect spot.The pictures don't really do it justice. The space feels really comfortable, and during the warmest part of the afternoon we would come back for lunch in front of the huge picture window looking right out onto the beach.Found hundreds (literally) of sharks teeth over the three days we were there. Saw probably a dozen dolphins out in the water. Walked down to Sandbar to get lunch. Short drive to the grocery store for supplies.Highly recommend!

This place is so amazing. The afternoon view of the sunsets are breathtaking. Only a short walk to all stores and the beach- you just can't beat it. The very best part though is it was clean and well decorated and you could tell they cared. Love it.

Wonderful, private, beautiful getaway

Loved location as you can walk to businesses. Beautiful, convenient beach, friendly tenants. Surprised it recovered from hurricanes to this extent.

Oceanfront Family Friendly

On the beach with beautiful views. Queen bedroom with full bath on first floor. Spiral Staircase with a Full (and twin standard mattress) in loft with full bathroom. Nice full kitchen with ocean views. Great AC with ceiling fans throughout. Grills are located with charcoal on ground level. Keyed entrance pool (we didn't try out). Very clean with all the basic amenities, bedding, towels, and even basic food necessities all in this condo. There were even pool floats, beach chairs, and umbrellas under condo for free usage. Many of the chairs were rusty though due to elements. We took advantage of umbrellas and some floats which was really nice on our days in the sand. Hostess was extremely easy to reach for questions. Check-in was just punching in door code for entrance. Do print out parking pass before your trip along with check-out information from their email to answer lots of questions. Walk down the steps (only negative is 27 steps to condo so not for those with mobility issues) and you're right on the condo's private beach area. VERY quiet during July and mostly families. Uncovered area with picnic tables at the dune area and a shower/foot wash right at the board walk to help with sand. Eateries nearby, but a bit pricey so we drove over bridges 8-10 minutes to many options in Englewood. Water sport and paragliding rentals are within 5 minutes so nice location. We would 100% book this location again IF available after my glowing report.

Beautiful Beach View

I was worried about my children making a mess because of how clean the place sounded however it was not what I was expecting. I did reach out to the property owner the day before we left and give her the information. She was responsive. The dust is thick, the air conditioner was struggling to keep up, a water bottle that wasn’t ours was under the upstairs bed, a large dead bug and used paper plate was behind the couch. The carpet that was “just installed” had tacks that stuck my daughter in her foot between the living room and the kitchen. There was a large stain in the living room. Normal wear and tear for old carpeting. I understand bugs happen, but it was obvious that the place had not been vacuumed. While sweeping, the trim was bumped and black mold was discovered by the kitchen sliding door. If you want to find shark teeth it’s the place to go, but don’t expect to be able to relax in a clean environment. We left a day earlier than expected.

Beach front condo

Amazing location on Manesota Key. Close to restaurants, yet beach area is much less crowded than public beach areas. We stayed over the 4th of July week and we're told that's the busiest regulars have seen it, but it was in NO way crowded. No noise from other condo guests. 3rd floor is worth the views from the living room. Plenty of towels, etc. Mechanical issue during our stay was quickly resolved. Loft bedroom better suites younger crowd due to spiral staircase, but we had no issues. I know another review mentioned needing updates, but I'm not there for the aesthetics. Condo was set up nice and functional. My only suggestion would be additional large skillet, for cooking for family, which I'm sure was with the set at one point. 😊 Pool was nice and never over crowded. Thank you for letting us stay at the condo. Just the relaxing vacation we needed. And my kids had a blast finding shark teeth on the beach.

GREAT BEACH FRONT HOME FOR OUR VACATION!

This place was perfect. The only drawback, and we were warned, was the 27 step climb to get to the condo! WELL WORTH THE CLIMB!!!!

Reunion

We went to beautiful Englewood for a week long reunion with my spouses family. Our stay at El Galeon was perfect. Close enough to all the action to walk but far enough away to have privacy. Beware that the upper bedroom is a loft bedroom with steep spiral steps if going upstairs is an issue. We loved it

This was our first VRBO experience & it was awesome! The view from the living room was beyond beautiful! It was so homey & perfectly clean. The pool was excellent too. Owner was easy to communicate with when we had a question. Hope to return soon!

Location,location. location!!!!

Came with my best friend and this property was everything we hoped for and MORE! Literally steps to the beach but didn't even have to walk out the door to enjoy amazing views from the sofa! Watched beautiful sunsets over the water every evening either from the dining table, the couch or the walk out balcony. Kitchen was well equipped with all that we needed for the week. Upstairs bedroom was a loft with its own full bathroom and accessed by a spiral staircase. Main bedroom has a king bed and plenty of space with a sliding glass door onto the balcony as well. There is also a pool but we didn't use it because we were on the beach every day. Great place for finding shark teeth and shells! Waling distance to several great restaurants. Communication with owners was easy if we had any questions. At first I was a little nervous because there were very few reviews---- SO glad we booked and stayed. Will definitely be staying at this property again! Worth noting, there are some stairs up to the condo. Also, there is a "closet" on the main floor with beach chairs, and other items for the residents. There are also charcoal grills outside for your use as well as tables and chairs on a deck by the beach! Hesitating to post this review out of fear that we won't be able to book it next time we want to go :)
