We are Beach Vacation Getaways of St. George Island, Florida. We are Local and Personal!

Welcome to "Turtles Cove" a High end Custom built home over looking the Apalachicola Bay and St. George Island Bridge.

This home Sleeps 16 Adults in Beds and Features a Private Guest Cottage up in the air, with its own private porch for viewing the Sunsets! Enjoy countless sunsets from 1 of 7 different porches of this custom home. (2 screened and 5 covered!)

The decor and furnishings in this home are Amazing!! Home has never been on the rental market until now, and was built and used only by a private owner until now. Home has an Elevator that access all 3 floors from Ground level to Top Level. 3 privately screened in areas ensure your family is free from bugs to watch the sunset, have dinner on the porch, sit by the portable fireplace, or Enjoy an evening by the Screened in Pool area.

The Main Living floor features an Open and modern concept Living, Dining, and Kitchen area.

This was the most beautiful home to stay for our family’s beach week together! The views were breathtaking and it was an absolutely perfect choice for our stay! The home was clean and in the best location. Andrew was timely in his communication with us and made our stay flawless. I would highly recommend this property for a large group!

Our contact Realtor was excellent. He was very responsive to our needs. The house was perfect for the space we needed. However…It really needs a refurbishing of everything and a deep cleaning. Shower heads unreliable , sinks that don’t drain, doors not working, kitchen needs organization, purging, and replacing with necessary tools. Not enough linens in the kitchen, guest bath (none). Television needs directions. Passcode for WiFi needs to be updated on the listing. There needs to be written directions for the stay. We found nothing telling us how we were expected to leave the house or what our responsibilities were and no direction for Emergencies.

Great location

The sunsets from the deck are absolutely stunning! Stayed with family for a wedding and had plenty of space for everyone. Make sure to bring our own beach towels and blow dryers.

Wonderful, quiet bay retreat

Family vacation

My family and I stayed here on vacation and it was everything that was advertised. The owner was very cordial and helpful with any questions that we had and even came to the house to bring a couple of things that we needed. Andrew is a top right owner and I would highly recommend this property.

Excellent property

This place was great. Description was spot on. Quiet neighborhood, great location. Pool was maintained twice while we stayed. Contact with host was extremely helpful and had fast response to any issues.

Beautiful home

This home was very well built and has beautiful touches throughout. It is very large, clean and well furnished, with plenty of parking. Every single room of this home has direct access to a deck! It was a bit too cool to use the pool, but it was clean. We would absolutely stay here again!

Good place

Good place to stay that matched our budget. Had a small issue that the property manager took care of within a reasonable time frame. The house is in a good quiet location with plenty of space. The house could use a little tlc but nothing that would turn me away from booking.

Fun on St George

This is a very nice house—recently remodeled, clean, comfortable and well supplied. Plenty of outdoor spaces with beautiful views of the bay. The pool is a nice size and well maintained. Matt was quick to respond to any questions/ issues.

We loved our stay here. As shown and explained in the profile. super nice, great communication and would definitely stay here again. This was our fourth trip to SGI and we have never seen better sunsets than from this house's balcony. Incredible.

Lots of room and good location

Great older home needs a little TLC as many things were not operating correctly such as the dishwasher, garbage disposal, some doors, jacuzzi tub and TVs/wi-fi, light bulbs, etc. The elevator was a plus for elderly renter.

Thank you for staying with us and thankyou for the feedback. We were not aware that you were having issues with some of the items. We sent the tech who fixed the dishwasher issue, and we resolved the leak from the garbage disposal. T.V. wifi is provided by mediacom and should always be operating as should, or we can call there technical support team. Lights bulbs are a quick fix as well! We are glad overall you enjoyed your stay and rest assured we will make sure all of the above has been taken care of!

Hey thank you so much for staying with us and taking time to leave you. The checkout and check in instructions is supposed to be automatically sent through VRBO when you book through them. Not sure what happened but sometimes we get that from interest at the access information or check out instructions through their platform was not received or people logged into the wrong email address. This house is new to the rental market and we will work on getting a separate set of instructions laminated on the refrigerator. All that is required is that you leave and have a smile on your face! We will take care of the rest. Thanks again we hope to see you again soon.

Family in a beautiful house

The trip was wonderful, the house was the perfect size and the elevator helped with bringing in luggage and groceries. The house needed some deep cleaning, but after contacting the owner, they explained about the Hurricane in the past few weeks. Everyone would like to use the house next year. Thank you for allowing us to use this beautiful house

Stunning Sunsets

Our stay was incredible and the home met every expectation. 3 floors with ample space allowed for gatherings and alone time. The home was clean and the location was great. The elevator was very handy. We had a few minor service issues that were resolved satisfactorily. Sunsets were simply stunning. Thank you!

Great vacation getaway

The house location was superb with outstanding views of the sunset and bay. Easy access to beach areas. The house was located in a relaxing and quiet area. Our family loved the house and all the balconies. Screened in balcony on the third floor was perfect for family meals! Screened in pool was great for after beach time. Elevator was great as living areas were on the second and third floor. Cannot think of anything we did not like and will look forward to staying here in the future.
