This is a great basement apartment, stocked with coffee and basic essentials. The bed and daybed are comfortable. Itā€™s in a beautiful neighborhood just a short walk to some great restaurants and CVS. The shower is small and hard to navigate as a shorter person due to how the showerhead points, but that was the only issue we had. Lovely place to stay!

I canā€™t say enough great things about the rental unit and the hosts. The apartment was perfect with plenty of space, an excellent kitchen, laundry area, amenities and nearby easy street parking. The hosts could not have been kinder and more responsive to my every need. The area is excellent with restaurants, shopping and recreation nearby. My daughter especially loved Charlie! I would stay again in a heartbeat. One of my very best VRBO experiences.

The apartment was advertised as "the Best Apartment in Chevy Chase" and it was!We walked in to a fresh, clean, well cared for place to stay in a great location. We could have stayed longer just to read the books that are on the shelves. The kitchen and bath were well stocked, the bed was comfortable. We felt like well treated guests. Thank you!

Charming Apartment, Excellent Location

We had a phenomenal stay as a family with 2 young kids and a pug - the location is perfect, in a very safe and beautiful neighborhood with nearby parking that is easily accessible. Plenty of restaurants/shops/etc. within easy walking distance and the metro was only about a 10 minute walk to get to all the main DC attractions! The apartment itself is very cozy, warm and charming. It was extremely clean and well appointed, with all essentials you could need in the kitchen and bath. Beds were comfy and we slept extremely well. The property owner is a warm and kind host who made time to chat with us; we had a lovely stay and hope we get to visit again someday!

Perfect stay!

We stayed at this property with family, friends and our dogs. Steve and Katy were very nice and accommodating. The place was exceptionally clean, it has every essentials that you will ever need. It is also very close to local transit, grocery stores and restaurants. We are very happy that we found this gem! We would stay here again if we were to visit Washington DC. We highly recommend staying at this place.

Great home base in Chevy Chase

The property is clean, comfortable, and well appointed. It is in a great neighbourhood, with easy access to bus and metro transportation, groceries, restaurants, etc. The hosts were friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our meal at Buckā€™s Fishing and Camping on Connecticutt, and take out lunches from Broad Branch market.

Great Spot

Itā€™s a clean and comfortable apartment with a good bit of natural light in a great neighborhood ā€” accessible to public transit, easy parking, and safe. The hosts were helpful in advance and have a well-appointed ( and stocked) place. I brought my 22lb dog and he was comfy and enjoyed our walks in the neighborhood. Already booked a return visit!

It really is the best!

My husband and I stayed three nights, very close to our kids in Chevy Chase. We were impressed with the way the apartment is supplied with everything you could possibly need, from spices to shampoos to dog bowls! It feels as if the host thought about everything she might need if SHE were staying there, and supplied it all! Directions were helpful, parking was easy, check-in and check-out were painless. We will definitely be looking to stay here again.

4th of July Holiday

My wife and two sons (5&7) spent a week here and it was a great spot for us to explore the city from. It was convenient to all the things we wanted to do. The apartment is well stocked with all the things you would need while away from home. We had our 5 month old puppy with us and we actually looked forward to walking her around the neighborhood and parks.

Extremely clean and well appointed property

This property was one of the cleanest we've stayed in, with everything one would need. Books, cookbooks, spices, laundry and cooking supplies. Quiet, comfortable, and easy check-in, check-out. The host was prompt in getting back to us with questions we had prior to arrival. We were there a short time visiting friends, but enjoyed being able to walk to restaurants and surrounding residential neighborhoods. Parking available on the street or next door.
