Hi Brian and Tiffany, Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your recent stay at the Wilderness Lodge. I am sorry to hear about your husbands fall. I hope he is all right. I do not know whom you spoke with at our office, there is no record of it in our system or that a maintenance request was entered. We have had no other complaints about the deck. Most rustic cabins are just that, rustic and in time they all will be updated. I also do not see that a request was put in regarding the over or the hot water, did you inform our office of that when you called? With any up-north cabins there will be some bugs or spiders, that is something we cannot control. That cabin could have been empty for a while before you checked in. With so many properties and the lack of staff there is no way we can do lawn care only on "turn around day". This is the same with people fixing docks. This most likely was not our team and we cannot make them work on weekends. We hope you will come back to either the Wilderness or another one of our properties to see that we are not just out to make a buck. We are here to help our guests have an enjoyable vacation.

Joel, Thank you for taking the time to review your stay at the Loon Cabin at Wilderness Bay. I am sorry that your issues were not immediately followed through and rectified in a timely matter. We are working hard to rectify the worker shortage at Wilderness Bay and have the store open seven days a week. We hope you will come back next year and see all the improvements.
