Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Couldn’t check-in first night

Calling for help for 5 hours. Keypad broken - no back-up lockbox. Locksmith finished at 9:30 Pm. Left us with an unsecured house- couldn’t lock door. We all slept on couches/floor elsewhere.Replaced keypad next day. Requested a refund NOT credit. Still waiting for response from them!

Nice Home

When we arrived the house was clean and ready for us, backyard was beautiful along the water. We were lucky the neighbor has beautiful Christmas trees lit up so we got to enjoy it. Unfortunately, there are a few downfalls 1 the bed was horribly uncomfortable. Same with the couch 2 the kitchen was lacking dishes. 3 the house is located in quite a squishy neighborhood lots of traffic. Also the tenant that lives above the garage was not shy on making noise early in the morning. It was hard to get any rest!! I would consider the home more as a business trip rental than a vacation rental!! It’s definitely disappointing, I had high hopes!

Wonderful spot to spend Thanksgiving

It was a perfect home! The house was completely equipped to cook a full Thanksgiving dinner. It was immaculately clean and could not be a more lovely setting on the lake. We hope to stay here again next year!

Worst Vacation Rental in Lake Oswego

I was born and raised in Lake Oswego, OR. I’ve never had such poor service coming from a rental property company. I often use VRBO when visiting aspen, Palm Springs, etc. but VRBO posted a home via VACASA. I will never use VACASA again. The fridge didn’t work the whole time I was there. I had medications that needed to be refrigerated. It was exhausting calling daily to get updates on basic home rental needs. The manager of VACASA in Lake Oswego never answered the phone—he would only text me back. He was so unprofessional. I called VACASA corporate and asked for calls back. Never received them. Asked for management to call me. Never called me. Empty promises made after empty promises. I ended up checking out early. Upon checking out I asked for management to call me regarding a partial refund (especially for the days I didn’t stay there), once again—haven’t heard a word. No call back. Worst service of all time. I feel bad for the homeowner because it was a beautiful home but had the worst representation via VACASA.

College Visits

We rented Blue Heron while in Portland for college visits. It was a fabulous location. It provided a great home base for our activities; close to downtown and the schools we visited. The house was well appointed, clean and a perfect home base. I would definitely recommend. Owner was receptive to questions.

Gorgeous spot

This 3 bedroom waterfront home interior is beautifully remodeled, new kitchen, tasteful contemporary decor, comfy furniture, fireplace, and stunning lakefront location. Only thing to note is that there is a full time tenant in the ADU above the garage who may use the waterfront area whenever desired. We didn't realize this and were a bit surprised when they had parties (low key, ten people or less) two of the 4 days we were there. They were very nice and thoughtful, we just weren't aware of this. Swimming in the lake was delightful. There were life vests available but not for our one year old. Dicks Sporting Goods is nearby so I bought one and left for future guests. Just note that you may need to bring/buy others depending on age of kids. We would definitely come again.

Great property. Will definitely rent again. Couldn't lock the door upon leaving though. Hope cleaning will come soon so it isn't left unlocked too long.

Mostly really great...

I sent the issues I am encountered directly to my contact for the rental. These issues included: -no blow dryer (so they brought me one the next day) -no fan control in MBR (so they brought me a standing fan, at my request) -governor on AC- I like to sleep quite cool, and the AC wouldn't allow the setting I would typically choose -a few repair issues -outdoor space/ pots/furniture not well cared for In general, a nice stay in a beautiful place and I would return, but the outdoor area in particular could use some TLC. Be aware this location is immediately adjacent to a pretty busy road, but the surrounding area is quite nice.

Relaxing and enjoyable getaway

We loved this property! Very welcoming and cozy on a rainy afternoon and tons of fun outside on a sunny one! The master bed was extremely comfortable and the kitchen is a dream. Fully stocked with everything you could need. Would definitely stay here again!

Rejuvenated

The ambiance in this home is on point! Dimmers on almost every light switch in the home, heated tile floors in the master bathroom, and a relaxing view of the water, that’s what I’m talking about. Everything about this home is thoughtful. Comfortable bed, couch and did I say heated tile floor? There was only one awful thing and that was having to leave on check out day. I’ll be coming back to this slice of heaven and until then I’ll be hanging onto the awesome memories of this place that I made with my family there.
