Beautiful cedar hot soaking tub right on the riverbank beneath a stunning one-hundred-year-old weeping willow tree. Enjoy a gorgeous amber gas fire pit next to the hot tub. Your host Sara lives in this home when it is not rented, in the upstairs section, adjacent to the ground floor rental space. Your space is completely private. - all yours, including the entire yard.

You have a private deck, large hot tub right on the riverbank, two outdoor grills and several lovely seating areas, as well as full access to the entire beautiful grounds. Kayaks and SUPs provided - launch from the riverbank right here.
In the summer you also have a private beach. On-site Massage and/or Facials are an option, and must be pre-booked prior to your stay. If you are interested, please let us know in advance.

Keurig Coffee & Treats are supplied with your stay as well as Chocolates on your bed. Your main bed is open studio-style and located right next to a natural wood-burning fireplace. looking out to the beautiful Willamette River view through large windows which adjoining the living room. The main full bath has both a shower and a bath tub. The decor is very romantic and soothing.

This home is nestled within a quiet, friendly neighborhood located just a short drive to downtown Portland (12 min.), and the heart of Sellwood-Moreland (3 min.) with nearby freeway entry allowing for convenient access to the airport (20 min.). Mass transit is just a few blocks away, making travel without a car a breeze! The MAX stop is walking distance and will take you to downtown Portland in a 20 minute scenic ride. Travel to and from the airport is also a breeze.

The Portland area abounds with wineries and we are only 20 minutes from the North Willamette Valley and Dundee Hills wine country.

Enjoy the nearby Milwaukie & Moreland Theaters, Milwaukie Farmer’s Market (on Sundays), Portland Saturday Market, Oaks Park, New Seasons Market, Fred Meyers, Saburo's Sushi, Jade Thai, Ginos Italian, Portofino Italian, ChaChaCha Mexican Taqueria, and a variety of restaurants including brew pubs, coffee shops, family-friendly and fine dining. Downtown Portland is only 12 minutes away and a few must-go-to restaurants are Jakes Famous Crawfish (A Portland classic! Try the Dungeness Crab Leg Saute'!) and Portland City Grill for an amazing view of the city and fabulous food and ambience.

Hop on the freeway and be at Multnomah Falls and beautiful hiking in the Gorge in only 40 minutes.

Go another 30 minutes and you will be in Hood River, windsurfing capital of the world. Enjoy wineries, see the windsurfers and kite boarders, do the Fruit Loop, eat, drink and be merry ~ they have quaint bistros, fabulous dining and numerous festivals.

For mountain enthusiasts, Mt. Hood's Government Camp is only 1 hour 11 minutes from our home, (or continue on from Hood River and be there in 30 more minutes) where you will find SkiBowl, Timberline Lodge, Mt. Hood Meadows ski resort, lake and river fishing, hiking, and much more. Take the Mt. Hood Scenic Byway for a very full day!

*Note: This is a gorgeous property, and I get numerous requests for holding events here such as weddings, family reunions, etc., however, we are in a neighborhood and must be respectful of our neighbors, so the city will not allow events. Small gatherings are OK as well as photo shoots with pre-approval. If you are wondering if your idea or gathering is considered an "event" please ask, it is possible that we can work something out.
*Please note that this property is not recommended for elderly/handicapped folks who have difficulty walking as there are stairs to access the property and yard.
