Beach Access + Golf Cart + Beach Chair/Umbrella Service + Unique Kids Loft

Our cozy Sea Shack is located in the 100-acre gated community of Venture Out on the far east end of Panama City Beach nestled up to St. Andrews State Park. Hop on the included golf cart for a very quick ride over to the private community beach. If you prefer fishing or boating out of Lower Grand Lagoon, home to the famous Capt. Anderson's, we have that too! With both beach and bay access this is sure to become your family's favorite new vacation spot!

The Sea Shack includes FREE beach chair service that is complimentary for the duration of your stay! This includes 2 chairs and 1 umbrella set up by a beach attendant. (Tips always appreciated of course!)

Other FREE community amenities include; 2 pools + separate kiddie pool on the beach side, newly built fishing pier on the lagoon, basketball court, playground, boat ramp, shuffle board, mini golf, tennis/pickleball courts, and charcoal grills. All of the equipment for these activities can be picked up at the 24-hour guard shack with the exception of tennis/pickleball racket rentals and tennis ball purchase to be made in the main office.

In our home you will enjoy the renovated kitchen, unique children's loft, and a spacious deck that faces towards the beach.

Our home also has a convenient side door that leads straight into the master bathroom for easy clean up after a long beach day.

Within walking distance you can check out the local Patches Pub & Grill, then grab dessert at Sweet Cone Alabama Ice Cream (chocolate moose tracks is my personal favorite).

Just a very short drive away are more of our personal favorites; Schooners, Deck Hand Social, J. Michaels, Triple J’s Steakhouse, Christo’s, Dat Cajun Place, Andy's Flour Power, Grand Marlin, and Capt. Anderson's of course!

Take a day trip to Shell Island from St. Andrew's State Park or with our favorite boat rental Lagoon Pontoons. Young kids really enjoy the Sea Dragon Pirate Cruise while everyone can enjoy dolphin watching on-board the Sea Screamer!

We had the most enjoyable trip! The house was the perfect size, kitchen was stocked with all the cooking utensils we needed, so many places to sleep and relax. The owners were very responsive and extremely helpful! Love Venture Out!! 10

Family trip for July 4th week

Stay of wonderful- not comfortable with doc asked to sign

The website does not inform you that a few days before your stay you will receive a list of doc from "Venture Out" to sign electronically. One of the doc mostly pertains to the home owner and not the tenant. Venture Out told the home owner I would not be allowed to get my parking passes if the documents were not signed. The owner was kinds and has a fabulous unit. I would recommend updating the website and the HOA aggreement that tenants are required to sign.

Best start yet in our favorite PCB spot!!

We’ve been coming to Venture Out in Panama City Beach for over a decade now—it’s our family’s go-to beach getaway—and in all those years, we’ve stayed in several different rentals. Hands down, this one was by far the best experience we’ve ever had.From the moment we booked, Leah was phenomenal. Her communication was above and beyond—checking in with us before we arrived, offering helpful tips during our stay, and following up afterwards to make sure everything went smoothly. She made us feel less like renters and more like welcomed guests in her home. That kind of thoughtful hospitality is rare and something we deeply appreciated.The home itself was perfect for our family. Everything was spotless, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully stocked. The layout worked so well for both the adults and the kids, but the real highlight for us was the kids’ loft. Our granddaughter immediately claimed it as her “special place” and it truly made her trip. Watching her light up every time she climbed up there to play or rest made memories we’ll never forget.The location, of course, is classic Venture Out—golf cart rides to the beach, peaceful evenings on the porch, and a safe, family-friendly environment that just can’t be beat.Can’t recommend this place enough. If you’re lucky enough to find it available—book it. You won’t be disappointed.

PCB Vacation 2025

Property was amazing. Super close to the beach and the pool which was great for young children. This unit has both a golf cart and beach chair access which makes everything so much easier and more enjoyable. Unit was clean, spacious enough for all of us to be extremely comfortable. Will surely be returning!

Classy Beach Cottage

We had a wonderful 4-night stay in this beautiful beach cottage. Everything was clean and well-maintained. The decor is welcoming and classy. The golf cart was super nice and so convenient to have. We hope to return!

Very Good

We have been to Venture Out several times and enjoy the location. This rental is in a great spot within the community and the beach chairs/golf cart were great to have (not having to carry chairs back and forth was a game changer). Overall the house was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The only issue we had was the living room and bedroom furniture was not comfortable to us. I would recommend this location.

Cutest Place

Super convenient little cottage on the beach. Everything was clean, lots of extras, the beach access was perfect and we had an amazing stay. Neighbors were nice and it was quiet at night. We will come back, for sure!

Home away from home!

The Sea Shack is wonderful! We have stayed here before and everything is perfect! The back patio is nice in the evenings to sit and enjoy the sunsets. Everything is easily accessible and Leah, the owner is a peach! Can’t wait to visit again soon!

AMAZING PLACE

Our family, which was myself, my husband, my mother in law, our 3 kids (6, 4, and 1) had an amazing stay! This house had everything we needed and more. Down to some children proof locks which was a huge relief. The boys LOVED their “hideout” area, the house was so cozy and home like which was a plus since our middle is autistic and doesn’t do great away from home. But everyone did wonderful here, we loved the golf cart rides, the playground is brand new, and the pools are great! The beach area is not busy and so much better on this end. We even saw deer multiple mornings from our porch area. This is a place to stay for sure! And the ease of checking in and out was easy. Our host was always one step ahead in letting us know all the details we needed and responds quickly. Thank y’all so much!

Most fun best vaca

Great stay close to everything

My family had a great time. A cozy house that is perfect for a family of 4 or so. My youngest (10 years old) loved the children’s loft. He was in there anytime we were in the house. There is so much to do in the community, let alone the beach. It is a 2 minute golf cart ride to the beach. If we come back to Panama City, we will definitely stay again.

Perfect for families with littles!

This was perfect for my husband and I and our 2&4 year old! We loved riding the golf cart, and the state park beside it! The kids loved the litttle hideout above the day bed. Everything was clean and nicely decorated & the check in process was very easy! Loved it!

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!

Leah’s communication was impeccable from the start. The house was absolutely adorable and my boys LOVED the captains quarters! The staff, neighbors, and facilities were very nice! Great location near food and some shops. Wntrance is block from the beach! Thank you Leah for giving me boys and I a home away from home!

Perfect Getaway!

The owners have put a ton of time into renovating this property. It’s just as nice as it looks in the pictures. The golf cart makes getting to and from the beach very easy. The owner communicated with us regularly during our stay. It was an awesome trip and we are looking forward to coming back!

Great Host!

We LOVE venture out and have been coming for over 30 yrs. You have a sweet spot with so much potential! Excited to see what all it will become in the future as you make it you own. Our grandson Clayton loved his captain’s hideout😉! Thank you so much for sending the precious item I left behind. We will be back! Thanks again! You are fabulous host! Although we currently live in Alabama, Panama City Beach is a very special place to us. It is where my husband was raised and where we met and got married! There really was no other choice for us when picking our second home. Brent is a Paramedic/firefighter and I am a Physical Therapist Assistant. We have a son we homeschool that allows us the flexability to travel. There are many places we love to visit but none as special as PCB. We are blessed and honored to be able to share it with others.

Our hidden children's loft makes our home unique. It gives kids a special place to hang out and call their own. It's stocked with beach and ocean themed books of all ages. We have also included games and puzzles to keep everyone entertained day or night.
