Come enjoy this bright, well-appointed home exuding European elegance and comfort near the center of the Pacific Palisades village. It is a couple blocks walking distance to shopping, restaurants, Sunday farmer's market, and state park hiking trails into the mountains, and walking distance to Will Rogers State Beach. It features an open, light-filled and fully furnished chef's kitchen with all the amenities one would expect. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed, master bathroom, and private sitting/TV room with a lovely garden view. The second bedroom has a king-sized bed and the third bedroom has a queen bed. The private backyard and patio feature comfortable seating and patio furniture, along with a a gas barbecue.

Pacific Palisades is located near the beach between Santa Monica & Malibu. Both are just minutes away!

Great home! Greater host!

Everything was wonderful and Linnus went above and beyond to make it a home for us during our stay. Getting to know him was a side benefit. The home is a great place and has a great layout to let the family spread out and be comfortable. Lots of separate living spaces. Nice large kitchen and dining areas. Surrounding neighborhood is nice and it's close to the revitalized town center with a variety of shops and restaurants.

Amazing stay, tragic end

This house was perfect in every way, and Linus is one of the best hosts I have ever met. Unfortunately we had to evacuate because of the Palisades fire. I believe the house was burned to the ground. Linus is amazing and if he has any other listing, please stay with him in the future. He is a wonderful host and you would be lucky to have him.

Wonderful Week!!!

We had a great time in this wonderfully appointed home. We escaped the desert heat to celebrate two birthdays. The sleeping accomodations were perfect - luxurious bedding, etc. Fully equipped kitchen which allowed our 'chef' Lynn to prepare gourmet meals. The outside patio was perfect for grilling, happy hour, and just plain old conversation. Many walks to the neaby beach. Restaurants of all cuisines are close by.Can't wait for our next stay.

Excellent stay for 2 months

We loved our stay at Linus’ house. The house is beautiful, with all the amenities you would want in a home, not just a temporary stay. My wife, 2 year old son, and I stayed here for 2 months and were very sad to leave. The pictures don’t do this place justice — the kitchen is stunning, all of the rooms are great, and we had so much space to hang out, both inside and outside. Linus is an incredible host, always communicative and willing to drop by. He brought a bunch of kids toys out of storage that our son fell in love with. The location was unparalleled: just a short walk to Palisades Village and to the bluffs with incredible views of the coastline. We wish we could have stayed for longer!

Best ever Vacation Rental

The house is lovely on quiet street close into town in Pacific Palisades near Pali High and easy walk to beach. Owners left us a bottle of wine and all things for coffee, all their spices, and pantry items. Every bath equipped with plenty of towels, toilet paper, fresh soap, and even shampoo and good hair dryers. Plenty of space in closets and chests. They were gracious about sharing their beautiful place. Gardener came regularly and their housekeeper was available for hire during our month long stay. Plenty of room to move about to set up puzzles, cook Christmas candy, read books, watch anything on multi TVs. Oh and set up a lighted Christmas tree just for our enjoyment. Simply the best.

Home away from Home

Linus and Sharon always make our stay top notch by seeing to every detail it is always like visiting a friends home. The home is comfortable always clean with fresh linen and towels. Kitchen is great for gatherings and cooking and the outside grill is a great bonus with a beautiful garden. The location is perfect easy to walk into town of Pacific Palisades or to the cliffs to see the ocean. Great Sunday farmers market within walking distance and 5 minute walk to Temescal Gateway park. Less that a 10 minute ride to Santa Monica or Malibu. Looking forward to our next stay. Isabelle & Charlie

PEACEFUL

We chose the nicest home for our vacation.The kitchen had everything we could possibly need. The other rooms were more than comfortable. The backyard, with all its flowers was a wonderful place to sit and enjoy the California sun. Hope to return next year. Thank you Sharon and Linus Anna and Eddie

Excellent!!

This is our second time staying at this house... it is terrific! The house is extremely comfortable, spacious and has everything you need. The location is perfect - walk to stores, restaurants, the bluffs, etc. The owners are wonderful to work with. I highly recommend this home and have already booked it again for next year!

Better than Home

We stay here for a few weeks every summer. Private, quiet and comfortable. It is much larger than we need, but it feels like home when we stay there, so we keep coming back. Actually better than home, because the owners take such care in their maintenance and amenities. The house provides everything we need, and we consider ourselves particular consumers who are willing to pay for the right experience. The neighborhood and location are an easy sell, but you must stay at the house to understand the unique value it represents for a short-term visitor to the area.

Tremendous Home and Location

This is not your usual rental house. This is a home with all the attendant comforts and amenities you could desire in a great location. Gourmet kitchen, beautiful bathrooms, spacious rooms, A/C and a great outdoor space with patio, grill, orange trees and flower garden, all close to Will Rogers beach and within walking distance to the Village. Linus and Sharon were extremely hospitable and concerned about our comfort throughout our stay. This is a keeper and we will return to enjoy this lovely home that was shared with us.

Great house and location

Came into town for my nephews wedding and we had the family stay at this very nice, comfortable house. We loved the photography and artwork throughout the home and it was a short walk into town for great restaurants and markets. The house was clean and well equipped. The owners were helpful and easy to contact. We would stay in this home again if we visit. The beaches were so close and we loved walking and biking on the paths.

Could not have asked for any better location

A very comfortable home and neighborhood. So close to everything. Gelson's and Ralph's grocery just a brief walk around the block or via short cut. Walk to everything in town plus amazing overlooks of the Pacific! Well equipped and clean home as we served 7 plus for Thanksgiving. Made use of the relaxing side yard and Weber barbecue.Owner's are very personable and a delight to work with. Highly recommend.

Looking for a place to purchase in Pacific Palisades and wanted a home walking distance to the village. The home is literally one and half blocks from village and is perfect home taking in all that offers. The home is super clean, with top of the line everything including appliances, great bathrooms, linens, and furnishings. Really enjoyed the very comfortable back yard. owner was super easy to work with look forward to renting again soon!

Wonderful Home in a Perfect Location!

Our family of 6 (including our nanny and 3 young children) have rented this house for 3 years in a row. The owners are delightful and always ensure we have everything we need to make our stay comfortable. They even loaned us their stroller and beach toys for the kids (there are tons of books for the children and games, toys and dvds). They are warm and welcoming and even have gifted us a bottle of wine upon arrival. The house has everything you would need for a perfect stay, and the location is ideal. You can walk to the Palisades Village and even to Will Rogers Beach and Temescal Canyon (if you're an ambitious walker). The Palisades is such an amazing area - quiet, peaceful, and beautiful. No doubt we will be renting this house every summer!

Perfect Vacation Home

Our family of 6 (including one toddler) enjoyed a wonderful reunion in this lovely home. It is such a relief to walk into a rental and discover it is even better than the photos. The listing details and photos and other reviews are right on target. A wonderful light filled home with a dream kitchen, beautiful garden with ample seating, plenty of living space and bedrooms with comfortable mattresses and great linens, modern bathrooms and laundry. You will not want to leave. The walk into the village is easy with a stroller and we enjoyed several local restaurants. I would definitely recommend this property to others. Don't miss the sunsets on the overlook - beautiful. The owners are a delight to work with and we all hope to enjoy their home again.

Great Location - Beautiful Home

We spent a wonderful week in this beautiful home in Pacific Palisades. From the moment we walked through the door, we knew we had made the right choice. The owners were there to meet us and were very gracious and welcoming. It was our daughter's graduation from college, and the location was perfect for the treks back and forth to the campus in LA. The home is in a beautiful quiet neighborhood, and just a short distance to grocery stores, restaurants, the beach etc. We walked to Pacific Palisades Village for bagels in the morning and great restaurant choices at night. The home was exactly as advertised - immaculate, nicely decorated and very comfortable. The kitchen is a great space and well equipped. Quality linens and comforatble beds added to the experience. The backyard is lovely, and we enjoyed it thoroughly. We highly recommend and are already planning a return visit!

Beautiful home, excellent location

We had a fantastic stay in this very comfortable and beautiful home. We stayed for a week with our family of five, and loved the atmosphere of the home. Very well-equipped and the house was a lot larger than we thought. The patio was comfortable as well. The owners Linus and Sharon were very welcoming and helpful. We would definitely come again! Excellent vacation rental property!

It was my daughter's Pacific Palisades wedding, and my 3 sisters and one brother-in-law flew in from the east coast. This home suited my family's needs perfectly as to location, size, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, and spacious gathering areas, both interior and exterior. The home is so nicely appointed, not like a rental property at all! The kitchen was just excellent and well suited our food prep and wedding baking needs. The property owners could not have been nicer. I would not hesitate to rent this home again, should the need arise. You will not be disappointed.

Wonderful stay in Pacific Palisades

Many thanks to the hosts for a delightful stay in a clean, well-maintained, safe property in an quiet community in the Los Angeles area - undoubtedly a five star experience. Property: descriptions were accurate, pictures were up-to-date. All amenities worked flawlessly - wireless internet, many televisions in the various rooms with DirecTV, heating and cooling, outdoor grill, etc. The beds were very comfortable and all sheets/linens/towels available. Well-stocked kitchen and pantry was impressive; all top-end appliances performed well. Outdoor seating is lovely. The interior is tastefully decorated and the property is very comfortable. Off-street parking in the driveway was available. Location - located in quiet, safe residential neighborhood, large grocery store and other shops within 2-3 block walking distance. Short drive to Getty Villa, Santa Monica, Malibu, beaches. Very accessible to downtown Los Angeles attractions (keeping in mind LA traffic). Hosts: generous and gracious, communication was excellent, scheduling/details/rental contract/fees handled in a prompt and professional manner. Would definitely recommend to friends/relatives for future visits. Thanks again!

Such an ideal and beautiful house!

Our vacation at this Palisades house was perfect! To begin with, the owners are gracious and easy to work with, and provide any and all special amenities you might need to make your stay ideal. The updated house offers an ideal layout with a modern bathroom for each bedroom, a high end kitchen and a master suite that offers privacy as well as it's own exit to the beautiful landscaped backyard. Tucked between Malibu and Santa Monica, the house's location is fantastic too. We were able to walk to nearly everything we needed - the town, a canyon for a hike, the local pool, and the playground. Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay immensely and already look forward to our next visit.

Home Away From Home

During the month of February, we enjoyed this spacious, immaculate and "homey" home in a wonderful location. The neighborhood is quiet and yet close to everything you would want in a California vacation - beach, hiking trails, and shopping. I loved the short walk to the village to enjoy fine or casual dining and great local shops. Santa Monica is a short drive away to take in a movie, or enjoy the wonderful shopping and variety of restaurants, or just stroll along Ocean Avenue to the pier. When we arrived, our hosts welcomed us to familiarize us with the property and then left us to enjoy our home away from home. The house can comfortably sleep 6 people and is wonderful for entertaining both indoors and out with its lovely garden and patio area. I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a relaxing place to enjoy time with your family or a group of friends.
