We had a wonderful stay at this house. The place was spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable getaway. The location was perfect. The check-in and check-out was easy. We would definitely stay here again!

Finally a short-term rental property in Harbor Country that meets my standards of cleanliness! (& I’ve been coming since 2009) That being said, my only complaint was how intrusive the cleaning crew & property mgr were to our stay. I don’t know if the unused garage bay was a “drop off” point for the cleaners but they were at our rental almost daily dropping off cleaning supplies into the garage. After the 3rd day, it felt really intrusive. My kids wanted to play bball on the driveway but cleaning crew was parked there & in their car 45 min one afternoon. We got up early to swim one morning & guy was adding stuff to pool for most of the morning & mowing. It just felt like we never really had full access to the property we paid for.

Great place for our annual family reunion! House was clean, comfortable and had plenty of room for our extended family. Pool was warm and the bikes were great! Kitchen had everything we needed to make dinners in. We would definitely stay again!

We really enjoyed our time together at this VRBO. there was plenty of room and plenty of things for the kids to do like swimming or playing games in the garage. There was a well stocked kitchen and we did enjoy our family time together.Thank you

This place has everything you need! We had a family of 12 and it was spacious enough for all of us. The hot tub, pool, and garage with the ping-pong table, darts, tv, and bikes was the perfect mix of entertainment. Although the pool was a bit too warm on sunny days, but was perfect for evening swims. The roads we rode on with the bikes were so beautiful full of trees and unique homes and was also a quick ride to the downtown area of Union Pier. We had such a wonderful time here and highly recommend it to anyone staying in the area.

The house was perfect for our family.. we all spent time in the pool, most spent time in the hot tub, we had a fire every night. We cooked every meal there for 15 of us. There were plenty of towels and cookware. Lots of memories made!

Large home

Very clean, tons of space and perfect for large gatherings. There were no check out instructions, I had to ask for them. Very little communication from owner, but we rent a lot so it was fine. There were a lot of lady bugs in the house, common this time of year with old homes, so again didn't really bother us. Our kids loved catching them! Please note that, although very kid friendly otherwise, all dinnerware is glass and ceramic, so byo kids plates and cups!!

Work Stay

Stayed here for out of town work. Very nice home. Very clean and welcoming after a long day of work. Very comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect Family Friendly Property

We had a wonderful experience with our family of 12 at this property. The spaces were big with plenty of room for all of us. Especially appreciated the second refrigerator in the garage/game area. Clean, well-stocked, and easy in / easy out. Great communication from owner, too. One suggestion would be to replace the electric stove at some point. We were able to cook on it, but the burners were a little tricky to get up to speed with heat. Not enough of a problem to reduce stars...just a thought for improvement at some point. Appreciated the heated garage with games and play area, as well as the hot tub. We would not hesitate to re-up for another stay in the future. Thank you!!

Great house, fantastic stay

Loved the house, super clean and comfortable. Hot tub was hot, clean and ready for us! Our unexpected fav hangout spot was the heated garage with so much ping pong and foosball played, and giant tv on! So much fun, plenty of room for our group and kitchen came fully stocked with all types of pans and anything we needed to cook Thanksgiving dinner. We had a great time! Only thing we didn’t love was that it wasn’t the BEST walking in the area for kids cause no sidewalks but that was a pretty minor inconvenience. Super close to New Buffalo as well which was a plus. Overall would definitely be back. Great communication by host. Thanks!!

We stayed in this querky but roomy house while we were in Union Pier for a memorial service. The house is definitely set up to accommodate families with rooms organized so parents and children can be together almost like mini-suites. The house is targeted to be a summer/fall rental; unfortunately, with the weather below freezing, we did not get to take advantage of the large pool, hot tub, and spacious yard. The converted garage into a rec room proved very popular with the dads and youth who were also in town. The kitchen and baths are all renovated and spacious with ample hot water and decent water pressure. For some reason, we lost heat while we were at the memorial, but the host responded to our message within 20 minutes and it didn't take long to be toasty warm. The only suggestion for improvement would be to upgrade the towels in the baths to be as nice as the pool towels. If we ever need to stay in Union Pier again, I hope this rental is available!

Perfect Getaway!

This home was perfect for our Girls’ Trip! There’s plenty of room for everyone and we loved the hot tub! The location is perfect, with lots of places to eat nearby.

Location! Location! Location!

This property is close to everything--New Buffalo beach and Stray Dog, Warren Dunes, the farmer's markets--and for those who prefer a pool to a beach, the pool and hot tub at this home are fabulous!!! Loved it so much, we hope to come back for a week next year (instead of a long weekend).

Awful Experience with Owner

I rented this property and unfortunately, due to my stepdad's illness and subsequent passing which happened the day of checkin, we were unable to use the rental. We were just a couple of days past the refund window and reached out to the owner, explaining our situation and hoping for some understanding. Unfortunately, the owner refused to issue even a partial refund or assist in relisting the property, citing concerns about his ranking on VRBO. While I understand the importance of cancellation policies, it was disheartening to experience such a lack of empathy during a very difficult time for our family. Even VRBO representatives suggested that the owner reconsider, but he insisted that we should have purchased insurance and did not offer any further assistance. I would caution others to be aware that this owner may not be flexible or understanding in unforeseen circumstances.
