Ocean's Breeze, a welcoming space to gather in Morro 'Heights' . Pet friendly!

We wholeheartedly cannot recommend hosting this guest and their associates. Throughout the reservation, communication was extremely poor despite multiple attempts to address important property concerns. Repeated neighbor complaints were received regarding excessive noise during both daytime and late-night hours, ultimately resulting in a police response after 1:00 AM. Exterior security footage provided from a neighbors Ring shows officers attempting to contact the guests for approximately 10 minutes before the door was eventually answered, with additional police units arriving during the response. In nearly 20 years of hosting, this is the first reservation that has required law enforcement to respond to our property. The stay also involved numerous house-rule and property-respect issues, including smoking violations, excessive littering with trash and cigarette butts throughout both the front and back yard, pets urinating on outdoor furniture and the deck, requiring professional cleaning and sanitization, multiple piles of dog waste left in the yard, and damage to our handicap-accessible ramp. The disturbance resulted in complaints from multiple neighbors and required significant time addressing the incident and its aftermath. Hosts who value respectful communication, compliance with house rules, and maintaining positive relationships with their neighbors should carefully consider these issues before accepting a reservation from this guest. We would not host them again.

Just to clarify for future guests, the upper exterior structure is a decorative farmhouse feature designed solely for the home's aesthetic, which is why it isn't included on any listing or accessible as a guest amenity. There was no problem with the hot water heater. My guess is that the guest did not run long enough for the water to turn hot. After being able to schedule a plumber to check on the water the next morning at 9AM, on a weekend! However, she contacted me and informed that they indeed did have hot water. Without any intervention. We have had the electrician out and he diagnosed the problem with the game doom lighting. This issue has been corrected. In addition we have upgraded the kitchen lighting to LED technology as well as replaced all the clear panels in the drop ceiling which looks beautiful. The dishwasher issue was a small part missing that allowed the top drawer of the dishwasher to come off its tract. The guest does not mention that the lighting and the dishwasher issue were corrected during her stay. I was able to get my handyman, on a weekend, to address her concerns the day after she reported them to me. I live in the neighborhood and so am able to respond quickly to any issues.

UPDATE: Our ping-pong table has been replaced with a brand new one!
