Worst vacation experience

The property listing is inaccurate. It is a 2 bedroom one bath. With another bathroom under construction in the second bedroom. This property has cockroaches, the fuse blows every time you make coffee, it’s not beachfront or oceanfront. It’s across the street from the oceanfront homes with a partial ocean view. The fuse box is in an attachment studio apartment, that you can’t get too. It’s only wall unit AC’s which doesn't keep the house cool because there is a missing deadbolt on the back door. The host delayed my arrival until 5:30 and was trying to make us wait longer and suggested that I go grocery shopping.I informed him that I can’t leave my dog in the car. He stayed at least an hour after we arrived. It was very awkward. Then kept coming by and even stayed Sunday night in the attached apartment, which was uncomfortable as a woman with her 9 year old daughter. The host tried to get me to cancel my Vrbo reservations and pay him privately instead. I did not do this. But a woman and her daughter rented the studio Thursday to Sunday morning and he did the same thing to her, saying he would give her a cheaper price but didn’t. It’s listed as Halyna but the only person I ever met or communicated with was George.He called my cell 4 times the day after we arrived. I finally had to tell him to communicate with my via Vrbo and to stop coming by. Then I get a hate email via Vrbo from “his wife” trying to charge me more money. Scammer alert! Do not rent!

Our stay

We had a wonderful stay and the location to the beach access is right down the road. A little cleaning up of the property would be beneficial, but we overlooked it. We would definitely go back.
