Luxury Cottage at Sundance Utah-Reduced June Rates-Walk to Lift and Restaurants

This luxury property is a 3 minute walk to the Sundance Resort Ski Lift, the Owl Bar, and the fabulous Sundance restaurants, the Tree Room and Foundry Grill. You can also walk directly to the new Lodge, outdoor amphitheater for the Blue Bird Cafe series. Once at the cottage and parked you can hike directly on Mt. Timpanogos and up to Stewart Falls or take the Sundance Ski Lift up to hike the mountain. Our cottage is the perfect getaway to enjoy the beauty of Sundance and Mt. Timpanogos with easy access to hiking, skiing, Stewart Falls, picnicking, water rafting/tubing on Provo River, flyfishing on Provo River and all things Sundance. Our place is perfect for a romantic getaway for 2, two couples or a small family of 4 - please note our place is not well suited for very small children as we do have indoor steps, a fire heated stove in the living room, and small artifacts throughout our cottage.

You will fall in love with our Sundance luxury cottage under the gaze of Mt Timpanogos. Our 1,000 square feet "Cottage at Sundance" is a luxurious cottage located in the Pines complex at The Sundance Resort. The Cottage is decorated with luxury western decor and modern amenities akin to an upscale hotel. Enjoy the Sundance Village including the ski-lifts, art classes, Spa, the Sundance General Store and the world-famous Sundance Owl Bar and Tree Room, without having to get in your car.

The Cottage features a kitchen, gas flame pot-belly stove for cozy nights in the living room, 2 LCD TVs (streaming on one TV) and DVD players, stereo with CD player, a large selection of DVDs, high-speed wireless for your laptop to stay in touch with the world, a large luxury slate bathroom with dual sinks and separate large shower, an over-sized 2-person jacuzzi bathtub, and a king-sized bed in the bedroom with luxury linens. Their is a queen-sized sleeper sofa bed and a twin sized "nook" mattress in the cozy sleeping nook. A perfect, romantic stay in the cottage for just two.

We love to share Sundance and our family cottage with guests who love and appreciate this beautiful mountain and the history of Robert Redford's famed Sundance.

What a wonderful stay at a fantastic accommodation at Sundance! My wife and I were so comfortable and felt immediately at home. The location at the base of Sundance can not be beat. The hosts were quick to respond to any questions we had (even when we should have read the notebook before asking). We can’t recommend this accommodation enough!

The communication made the trip so enjoyable - from recommended hikes to places to eat when you return sweaty from a hike. No car needed. Just walk from the quiet and well located cottage.If you love artwork, you will love the cottage. The owner clearly took a lot of pride in making the stay fascinating. In the afternoons, we'd play games on the living room table surrounded by a cozy feel.The area Sundance) is like three different countries. From literal jungle-like trails (reminded me of Costa Rica mountains) right from the cottage, to open head-height grasslands, like western Montana, to unreal mountain scenery like Glacier National Park or Alberta. I had no idea that hot and dry Utah had those types of ecosystems. Absolutely stunned.This part only applies to a hot weather stay (like early July). The unit doesn't have air conditioning. At higher elevations, it's not needed for most people. But we are Alaskans and are used to AC (turned on high). The owner gave us instructions on how to take advantage of the layout of screened windows and for the most part it worked out fine. Just follow her instructions. By morning, the cottage was quite cool, so we'd shut the windows and drop the shades and by afternoon when we'd return from a hike, it was warm, but not hot. Easy with the cross breezes, three fans, and ceiling fan.We didn't do it, but a great zip line.In summary, cozy cottage located right next to the local pubs and restaraunts, and trails to stunning views.

We are so thrilled that you were able to take full advantage of the mountain and all of the hiking areas and nearby mountain attractions. We love to recommend that people come up the mountain with their groceries and beverages and "park" for the weekend. With the connected pathways to the resort it makes for a great way to enjoy all the surrounding hiking areas, falls, and lift rides, Sundance restaurants, etc. We are thrilled you enjoyed the cottage, and yes, you encountered a hot week so we are glad the cottage stayed comfortable for you all. We would welcome you back any time!

Special cozy cabin

This place is so comfortable and well stocked with anything you might need. The owners/ managers was so easy to work with and communicate with. We loved Sundance. It is such a quaint and special place. We can’t wait for our next trip and would definitely book this place again!

We have owned this lovely cottage for almost 19 years. It has been a special place for our family and our two daughters, who grew up skiing and doing all things "Sundance" their entire childhoods. It brings us joy to be able to share our love of Sundance, this beautiful mountain, and our cottage with guests who appreciate this special place, Sundance.

Our family fell in love with Sundance in the 1990s. It has now become our go-to destination for all our Winter trips and our daughters have grown up to love and cherish the cottage and Sundance as much as we do. You will feel a world away surrounded by the many windows and wonderful views of the mountain and snow during the winter months.

Our cottage, although small and cozy compared to some of the other homes on the mountain, is one of the few Sundance properties that is within walkable distance of everything that the resort has to offer - including the restaurants, Owl Bar, store and the ski lifts for mountain biking in the Summer and skiing in the Winter.
