Enjoy uncompromising comfort on your stay in a meticulously maintained 4 Bedroom, 3 Bathroom Rural Reteat. A private lane escorts you into a woodland setting surrounded by picturesque farmland. We have 2+ miles of maintained walking/ run trails and a small lake to relax by. Interior home quite spacious and recently renovated. Fully equipped kitched with eat-at center island. Dining room with seating for 8. Large Living Room and Family Room with wall to cieling stone fireplace. Expansive rear deck for outdoor enjoyment.

This was our second time at Hickory Lane House, and it was wonderful, yet again! Diane is so friendly and attentive. The house was very well stocked with everything we could have needed. It was also very clean, and we love all the decorating! Thank you! We definitely plan on coming back!

Diane made everything just super easy! The home was tremendously clean and all the snacks, treats and fruit were a nice surprise and greatly appreciated. We only had a couple days to attend a family wedding but would have enjoyed staying the weekend with easy days on the patio around the firepit and walking in the woods! Thank you, Di for your hospitality.

This comfortable home allowed seven dear friends to spend wonderful time together. The kitchen/dining had ample space for us and were spotlessly clean. The bathrooms were stocked with many amenities. The property has lovely views from each window. We will continue to stay here each time we're in the area.

We were in town to visit family and Hickory Lane House could not have been more perfect for our family home base! Plenty of room to play outside, kids got to fish for the very first time, kitchen was well appointed and we wanted for nothing!

First- Diane communicated with us very promptly from the beginning and right up to when we arrived. Secondly, if I could give a rating of 10 for everything, I would. The entire place was spotless, the grounds were immaculate, and Diane even provided snacks!!! After a 4 hour drive, all of this care was well appreciated. During our stay, we noticed something new every day, maps of the grounds were provided with hiking trails labeled, Diane had shopping bags in case you needed while out shopping, pens, tablets, notes, anything you might possibly need, she had already thought of it. And the location was serene, peaceful, just so pleasant. We traveled there for a wedding that was held in Volant, so we were only 8 miles from the venue, others who stayed in nearby hotels stopped by for a lunch on Sunday and were so ENVIOUS of our "place". I couldn't get them to leave they were enjoying themselves so much. I can't say enough of how super clean and relaxing this home is. Probably the nicest VRBO we have stayed in in 10 years. Thanks again Randy and Diane!!!!!

Home and property were lovely. Very clean, nice linens and towels, lots of gathering area. Outside patios very enjoyable on nice days. Kitchen well stocked. Appreciated the fresh local pie, snacks, drinks and ICE! All the little details made us feel at home! Would like to stay again when we’re back in area.

This is the best house ever! We had a girlfriend's trip and every one of us loved this property! Every single thing you could think of was there-impeccably spotless-gorgeous furnishings-there honestly is nothing I can even say other than PERFECT!

My family really enjoyed our stay at the Hickory Lane house. The house is beautiful, cozy and clean. We all loved the lake and the walking trails. We will definitely be renting this place again.

My family stayed here for my son’s college graduation. We hosted a cookout with 4 other families. All ages, 21-84. It was a beautiful property! The house is immaculate with a lot of extra touches. Bedrooms are all very nice and comfortable. Really nice home. We grilled out, played corn hole, fished, used the fire pit. The garage is set up to accommodate with tables, chairs, coolers etc..The host was easily available and very gracious. This is a hidden gem. I wish we had found it sooner!!It was the perfect spot. You won’t be disappointed!

We had an incredible stay. Di has thought of everything to make the space so warm and welcoming. She goes above and beyond to create a memorable experience for her guests. Just what we needed!

We had a wonderful time. The house was so clean and it had everything we needed. We rented this house because our girls had a dance competition nearby. Di had a welcome dancers sign when we walked in and the girls got so excited when they saw it! She was very responsive when I had any questions. The girls had a fun "sleep over" weekend and the moms got to relax a little. We did walk the trails and got to enjoy nature. The trails were easy to follow thanks to the markings. We would definitely stay here again in the future!

Easter Getaway

The Hickory Lane House exceeded any and all expectations. The property was extremely clean, well stocked with essentials, and provided a quiet, safe retreat for our family. Both my husband and I grew up in New Castle, PA and were both pleasantly surprised to find this slice of heaven right in our hometown. It was hard to leave because this felt just like "home". Thank you HLH for the memories; until next time!

Perfect Stay!

Best Host ever! Property is beautiful, spotless, and quiet. All the little extra touches and amenities make it the perfect place to stay after a long chaotic day at a dance competition. Diane is absolutely amazing! Responds right away. She even had a “Welcome Dancers” sign hanging for the girls to see when they walked in. Really made their day! Thank you Diane!

Beautiful Home!

There were 9 of us that stayed at Hickory Lane House for the Thanksgiving holiday. Everything was wonderful! The house was immaculate and well stocked with everything we needed throughout our stay. The owner goes above and beyond by providing extras like snacks, drinks and toiletries. She even provided a homemade pie, which was delicious! Thank you! We will definitely be back next year!
