Casa Encanto is a beautiful, historical Adobe home located on a quiet street in the heart of Santa Fe’s historic Eastside. This luxury home is a block away from the art galleries and shops of Canyon Road, and a short walk to the Santa Fe Plaza.
The 'Downtown Subscription' Coffee Shop and a wonderful, local grocery store are around the corner.

This luxury home features a beautiful courtyard entrance and a private flagstone patio with fountain and outdoor dining table off the living room and kitchen areas, where you can relax and enjoy a meal, a BBQ, or refreshments. Follow the flagstone pathway to the completely private, outdoor HOT TUB.

This home offers 3 comfortable bedrooms (2 queens and 1 King), 2 full baths, jacuzzi SPA, 3 kiva fireplaces, a cozy living room with a sectional, kiva fireplace and new large flat screen TVs and a wonderful, large and well equipped Kitchen.

Casa “Encanto” is located on our favorite street in Santa Fe: a peaceful, quiet road, that gives you the feeling of being out in the countryside, when you are actually close to everything! WE WALK EVERYWHERE!
Canyon Road is one block away, the Santa Fe plaza, galleries, restaurants and shops are a short stroll. Our favorite coffee shop and the local grocery store are just around the corner. Bicycle trails, hiking, skiing and outdoors activities are easily accessible too.

The Patio is peaceful & comfortable
You will love having dinner outside by the fountain, surrounded by bird in the lush, relaxing after dinner with a drink or a glass of wine, and then having a private hot tub under the stars.

The History within the Adobe walls: Be enchanted by the history within the adobe walls that was built over a century ago.
The thick walls, kiva fireplaces, authentic vigas, hardwood and flagstone floors makes this home a charming and fascinating place.

The home sleeps comfortably 6 people but we do allow 8 ( preferably 6 adults and 2 kids).
Please make sure to tell us if you need an extra mattress in the second bedroom.

We welcome well behaved pets and do charge a $25 per day per fee ( $100 min).

The beautiful GARDEN CASITA is located in the back of casa encanto and sleeps 2/4 more. Ask us to rent both homes together If you have a larger group and plan to stay longer.

We do charge for 1 midd-cleaning for monthly stays but we can also arrange as many cleanings as you want during your stay. Just let us know.

CASA LUNA: we also rent a beautiful 2 bedrooms 1 and1/2 bathrooms adobe home just across the street from Casa Encanto! Please contact us for further details.

Marta's house was perfect for six ladies wanting to enjoy Santa Fe on foot and by car - it's an easy walk to the Plaza and many fine shops and restaurants. The house was so well equipped with kitchen supplies ,and cookware that we were able to enjoy leisurely breakfasts on the lovely patio. The beds were extremely comfortable and the house was very clean. The portable A/C units kept us cool on the warmer afternoons.

We had everything we needed here and it was so close to everything! We enjoyed hanging out in the patio, jacuzzi, and making our meals in the kitchen. And much of what we wanted to do in the area was walkable or a short drive away.

We had a wonderful stay at this VRBO property, and Marta was responsive and accommodating. The location is perfect — super walkable to everything we wanted to do, which made our trip so convenient. The home itself is very quaint and charming with a nice setup, a lovely backyard, and comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms that suited our needs well.A few small touches would elevate the experience even more. The light bulbs throughout were a mix of bright white LEDs/fluorescents and warmer incandescents, which gave the place a slightly mismatched look — swapping them all to one type would be a quick and easy fix. We also found an old bar of soap left in the shower, an unattached curtain rod that kept falling down in one of the bedrooms, and the upholstered furniture could be deep cleaned. Removing the small Christmas trees (in May) and giving the entry walk a quick power wash would make this already cute home really sparkle.Overall, we enjoyed our time here and would recommend it, especially for the fantastic location and charming vibe. With just a bit of refreshing attention to those details, it would be outstanding!

We have rented many units in this country and abroad and rely on evaluations. I regret to have to enter a negative evaluation but I feel I must.First impreesion: we were struck by how dark and cramped the rooms seemed upon entry. Worse there were huge indoor 'air con' machines in 5 rooms that were so loud we could barely hear each other. There were no fans.Floors were of varying levels and changes from one room to another resulted in 'steps' that were low or high depending. The flagstone flooring in kitchen/living were dangerously uneven resulting in constant attention to walking on them.We are aware how old adobes are combined and have rented a few before this one. This one had the worst flooring.Aircon had to be left on during the day or we would have returned to a super hot house.The owner asked that it be turned off! but did not indicate that it was unsafe to leave it on.Kitchen counters were cluttered with decorative useless items and appliances that took up a lot of space. Outdoor space had received no 'gardening' attention since spring-there were dead plant stems and leaves. The fridge doors were crammed with leftover condiments as if the owner would be returning shortly, but some were clearly out of date. The entrance is marred by a canvas 'curtain' to divide the main house from the casita that is separately rentted. We had this house for a whole week and were hugely disappointed. The photos and descriptions made it look a lot better than it was.

I am very sorry to receive this review as I truly care about my guests satisfaction and comfort. We do offer AC units During the Summer months and Ask to Turn them off when the home is Not occupied. The flagStone flooring is A beautuful original, cared for Floor ( pls see in listing photos) that adds a lot of charm to this Beautiful,Professionally remodeled and decorated hostoric home and the small step that separates the kitchen/living space from the bedrooms is Signaled for guests safety. The home is an original, one level historic adobe home with a great lay out. We do leave olive oil, balsanic Vinnegar and condiments for future guests convenience. I do wish you had contact me during your stay as i would have tried to adress your requests in the best way i could. I encourage all future guests to leave a review and confirm how they liked their stay at this unique historic property. 🙏

The house was immaculate and so beautifully decorated. The pictures don't do it justice. It was so warm and inviting. The rooms, and especially the beds, were so comfortable and the kitchen was fully equipped and had everything we needed to make wonderful breakfasts. The hot tub and outdoor patio are were a also a huge bonus. The host was very easy to communicate with too. We would go back in a hearbeat! Perfect location!

For us it wasn’t necessarily the ultra-clean air or picturesque landscape. It wasn’t even the insanely high concentration of art galleries and fine dining establishments. We chose to relocate to Santa Fe for something more intangible. That sensation you get when the sun is sinking behind the Jemez Mountains and the sky turns Orange, Purple and Pink all at the same time and you look out and see the most amazing light and colors. This is when the world changes and you see things differently. You realize that life is precious and there is so much beauty out there. I don’t know if it is Santa Fe that brings this awakening or if it is in all of us but it happened here and so we decided to make this home for awhile and see what other magic we might find.

When we saw this home on this street we knew it was special and everyday that feeling grows. Sometimes you just know right away when you’ve made a good decision. We furnished this adobe home with love and care and that Santa Fe spirit that brought us here. Encanto means Enchanted (I know, a bit cliché, but it is an appropriate word) and we are sure you will feel the same way after spending some time here.
