What a beautiful, spacious and FUN house! The kids loved the arcade games, the river walk down the path through the ravine, and we had a blast making s’mores and sitting around the fire. The beds were super comfortable, and we greatly appreciated how clean the kitchen and bathrooms were. We also enjoyed sitting on the porch in the rocking chairs, drinking our coffee in the mornings, watching the kids play in the front yard, surrounded by beautiful scenery. We highly recommend staying here, and hope to return again ourselves.

Excellent property and is exactly like what is described through the site. Plenty of space for our large group and the outdoor area is amazing. Recommend 10 out of 10.

Enjoyable stay

Exceptional property and location. House was very clean and well stocked. The host was great to work with and very accommodating. Check in and check out was easy and painless.

Wonderful stay

The property was comfortable and centrally located to activities for the kids. It was roomy and comfortable. The whole family had a great time. Highly recommended!

Nice stay near Crystal Mountain

Place was well stocked with everything you need for meals. Location close to Crystal Mountain. Great communication with owner.

Beautiful setting

This property is beautiful and so peaceful. Home is just as pictured. Loved the porch swing and the fire pit was enjoyed in the evenings. Wish the river was more accessible for the grandkids to play in but definitely did not deter from our fun. I definitely recommend this property and hope to visit again. Chris responded quickly to communications which is appreciated. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

First the good. The host Chris was very quick with his responses. The house was very accommodating for our group, as far as sleeping. Also house was very pretty. It is only 25 mins from the amazing town of Frankfort, and lake Michigan, or the casino at Manistee! The bad… the floors were very dirty! Our feet were super dirty the first night! There were cobwebs, on the lamp shades, which I vacuumed while I was there, and the vacuum bags, and canister…because there were two in the closet were completely full! There is a list of “do nots when you arrive, which are don’t wear shoes in the house, but the floors were already dirty! If the trash cans are full, which in our case we were there Sunday through Friday, the hosts ask you to take trash to the local gas station and pay 3 per bag to get rid of…and our cans were both full for the whole week! Trash is picked up Thursday…not Wednesday which is what was tole to us. Also no easy way into the river…about a 3-4 ft drop off of the landing into the river with huge rocks at the base. We had horrible flies at the property in the front of the house, so be aware, or spray! This property has so much potential for an awesome stay, but for 4000 a week, I would go somewhere else to enjoy the outdoors!

Beautiful accommodations in a beautiful setting, this property captures all the "up north" feels that Michigan has to offer. We will definitely be back!

Amazing Family Vacation

We had a great time at this amazing home and will definitely return. The home and the property are beautiful and close to everything, and the hosts were great to work with. The river and the setting is beautiful.

Excellent Property

We had a wonderful stay! The pictures don't do this beautiful home justice. We were pleasantly surprised how nice it is decorated, well appointed, and very spacious. The beds are extremely comfortable, and the home was super clean. Prior to our arrival the hosts sent us a welcome message with dining tips, and things to see and do in the area. This was an above average experience and we will definitely be back again.
