After a sun-soaked beach day, relax on the loveseat and watch a movie on the 38' flat-screen TV. A faux fireplace creates a cozy ambiance on cool evenings. A writing desk is handy for planning activities or checking email on your laptop. The unit includes a mini-refrigerator and freezer, microwave, and coffee maker. Extras perks include complimentary WiFi.

Sleep soundly on a king-size four-poster canopy bed. Adjacent, a twin daybed with a trundle can accommodate two additional guests. A full bathroom is configured with a walk-in shower.

Fabulous location, but the place is SMALL! The description of the unit under "Rooms and beds" states a bedroom and living room, also under "Amenities" it mentions a kitchen. We thought we were getting a one bedroom unit. WRONG! It is a very small STUDIO, with just a microwave and mini-fridge. The king-size bed was nice and comfy, but the twin beds (a trundle w/pull out single bed) was hard and squeaky. We were traveling with two children, so it was OK. NOT suited for 4 people by any means. Be aware that the "charming" patio is shared with several units. The host was very responsive with check in info and parking instructions.

Best location for walking

Cottage was very comfortable and adequate with everything we needed. The bed was perfect, the temperature was perfect, the bathroom was very nice with all the new updated finishes. The location was the best part. We walked every day to the pier and up State Street. A perfect getaway. We will definitely stay with you again.

Cozy and close to the beach.

The property is older and has character. There is noise from above and on the sides when they are occupied, but everyone was respectful and kept the noise to a minimum. Very relaxing and good sleep.

Great location & very beautiful

Great location to the beach, grocery stores & shops as well as stearns wharf. Super easy checkin. Only complaint is if there are renters in the floor above, you will hear every step they take. There was a family with children staying above us and they were running around the entire time. Other than that we would totally stay again!

Unbeatable beach access

Everything about the property was immaculate. Their was a lot of noise during the day but everyone stuck to quiet time at night. The daybed wasnā€™t very comfortable for an adult, but the king was top notch.

Great spot close to the beach!

My partner and I really enjoyed our stay here! Everything was as advertised, clean, tidy, comfy, and a stones throw from the beach. Itā€™s close enough to downtown S.B. that getting into town is quick and thereā€™s a couple good restaurants and little market nearby if you need anything. The neighborhood is a little noisy and the house is older so there were times our upstairs neighbors were very noticeable; for that reason I might not recommend for anyone who is really noise sensitive. Overall a great experience. Would definitely stay again if weā€™re in the area!

Just okay

The space is ideal for two people even though they advertise it for 4. The pull out bed is older and metal, so the springs creak with every single move - it kept everyone awake for quite a while. The walls are thin so you can hear the other tenants normal conversations. While the ground floor is usually a preferred choice, we could hear children running across the ceiling and furniture moving. The bathroom door knob came off in our hand and the bathroom door would not close all the way. Nice area but we would not stay here again.

Nice Area Not for Everyone

The room is best fit for 2 - not 4 as advertised. The daybed trundle is older and metal, so it squeaks with the slightest movement. Our teen slept in it. The bathroom door knob fell off in our hand the hour we arrived. Apparently this is not a new issue, I read a review from August of 2024 where they reported the same issue. And the bathroom door does not close completely. The walls and floors are very thin as we listened to a child cry beside us and furniture move above us. It was clean and looked nice.

Cute little room in a great location.

Cute room, tastefully decorated. Nice to have parking, easy walk to the beach and nice neighborhood. Room could use a few more utensils (i.e. forks) and a bit hard to wash up dishes in the bathroom. The ONLY issue we had was with the upstairs couple getting their freak on at multiple times in the day, evening and early, early morning. Not nice to wake up to the ceiling banging and very audible moaning at 3am with my young daughter in the room!

Excellent location minutes away from the beach & not too far from downtown. Could have better ventilation as it did feel stuffy at times. Communication could have been clearer regarding parking. Although the unit has all the amenities shown in the pics on website but the app & website actually list fewer (& different) amenities. And I had to a spend some time talking to their support to ensure the unit had everything it showed in pics. Overall great place

Vacasa advertising incorrect

Vacasa advertised their apartment as having two living spaces, but it only had one. Vacasa refused to acknowledge their mistake and put it right. VRBO support was excellent, and they refunded our stay. I reviewed Vacasaā€™s reviews, and could only see the positive ones. I believe I would not have had the problem if the negative.reviews were available.

Expected much more

4 total bath towels for 7 nights with no laundry facility and nowhere to hang used towels. Door knob to bathroom kept falling off. Very poor ventilation and lots of spiders on outside that wanted inside. Needs adjustable shower head as the spray felt like a car wash. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

Small but workable

For our little family of 3, (2 adults and 7 yo) the space fit us just fine. It was conveniently located to restaurants, a beach and a few playgrounds we could walk to. Which was helpful since we had taken the train down from SLO and were on foot! Would have liked a broom or vacuum for sand clean up and dish towel would have been nice. We had to wash dishes in the bathroom sink, and just used an extra beach towel. Sound wasnā€™t an issue for us as mentioned in other posts. We were able to crack windows and definitely used the fan provided, it was warm and stuffy for sure but tolerable. Overall a fun stay!

Hidden gem, great amenities, awesome location & outstanding price!

We committed to re-booking the minute we walked in the door for this cute little place. However, the unfortunate experience we had was that the the plumping for this property backed up into our unit on day 2 of the 4 day stay (toilet & shower, the stench was awful). The local property manager was AMAZING in getting us taken care of (Carrine, not sure of spelling). The reps for Vacasa were absolutely awful. They expected us to be the contact for the plumbing crew in a unit we needed to leave as it was uninhabitable (my poor mom needed to use the restroom & couldn't) and did nothing to assist us in finding a new place to stay (offering a -partial-credit ONLY is not helpful when we have to do our OWN research on a place to stay). A new home was assigned to us only to have it revoked AS we were on the front steps, suitcases on the porch (Vacasa said it was not financially beneficial for THEM). Carrine, then ensured this unit would be cleaned while we were at dinner (that we were unable to shower for prior); SHE cleaned the bathroom herself (absolute angel). It tainted the unit a bit as the smell lingered but since everything was booked (or over $1,000/nt), this was our only option. We had everything good to say about this place, but felt it necessary to report this. p.s. I have pictures and communications from Vacasa to back all of this up just in case they try and turn the tables in a response
