Located in the prestigious gated community of The Shores at Rainbow Lake, this stunning and spacious three story cabin on the lake is surrounded by towering Ponderosa Pines and offers more than 3,000 square feet of living space. With its rustic décor and mountain themed accents, furnished back deck providing panoramic lake views, lower level entertainment room with air hockey table and pool table, Outdoor six person hot tub and a private dock for easy access to the lake for fishing, boating, and kayaking, guests are sure to have an unforgettable Mountain Getaway!

As you step inside, you'll be greeted by a main level featuring vaulted wood ceilings, a cozy living area with a river rock fireplace, and trapezoid windows that offer breathtaking views of Rainbow Lake. The fully equipped kitchen is a chef's dream, complete with granite countertops, modern appliances, and an island with a gas stove top.

The cabin's main level also houses a master bedroom with a private deck entrance and an en-suite bathroom featuring a double vanity and a luxurious soaking tub. Upstairs, you'll find a loft area with futon that sleeps two, two additional bedrooms and a shared bathroom, providing ample space for your group to unwind after a day of outdoor adventures. A newly added bedroom downstairs in the Game Room features a queen sized bed, TV, and window providing lake views.

Entertainment abounds at the cabin, with an air hockey table in the game room, furnished back deck where you can grill up a feast while taking in the serene lake views, six person hot tub near the lake and a private dock that offers easy access to Rainbow Lake for fishing, boating, and kayaking.

This cabin was absolutely amazing ! Everything was just as described in the listing. It was a home away from home. The rooms were so comfy and clean :). The downstairs game room / man cave , and the hot tub are the selling point of this place. Waking up in the morning to the lake view was the best. This was perfect 1 million/ 10! When booking a cabin trip we look for a property that has Everything and more so we don’t need to leave, and this place has it. Would definitely come back a second time !! The host was very communicative and was gracious with checking in and checking out process.

Just a fantastic vacation!

We had a wonderful vacation on all fronts. Lucia was great and the communication was second to none. The location is perfect the cabin (very large cabin!) met all of our needs. We'll definitely be coming back!

Family Summer Get Away!

Thank you for sharing your beautiful cabin with us! We had a wonderful time relaxing both inside and out - there was plenty of comfortable seating, and the setting was perfect. We especially enjoyed fishing and kayaking. The beds were comfortable and the home is decorated with just the right touch of cozy cabin and lake charm. Kitchen was supplied with all we needed, but the one cup coffee maker could use an upgrade.There are just a few things worth mentioning for future guest and the host. The cabin could benefit from a good DEEP cleaning (tops of pictures, window ceils, shelves, headboards, etc. were dusty and had spiderwebs, as well as washing the comforters more often). Aside from that, it was very clean. Guess should be prepared to fill out waivers for both the hot-tub and kayaks. They also charge extra to use the kayaks/boards and they were filthy with mud on the inside, but we spent some time cleaning them up before we used, so they are good to go for the next guest.Overall, it's a lovely property and we truly enjoyed our stay. A few small maintenance updates would make it even better. We'd definitely consider coming back!

Family getaway

The cabin and location are beautiful. The inside of the house was decorated nicely and pretty much had all the necessities you need. The listing does show a coffee maker, so we brought ground coffee and filters, but could not locate a coffee pot. There is a Keurig in the kitchen, so we ended up running to Walmart and bought a cheap coffee maker. The backyard and lake view are beautiful with plenty of seating areas. There are plenty of good eateries nearby also. Would definitely consider staying here again.

Great to be on the water, that's where the good stuff ends.

The place looked like no one had been there in quite some time. We had to kill about 15 spiders. The upstairs shower didn't drain and I had to get a drain snake to clear it since it was day 2 of a 5 day stay. The listing says sleeps 11, that's only if you count sleeping on couches. There are not enough beds for 11 and the loft shows a couch that you would think pulls out into a bed.... it does not. Also there are only 4 steak knives at the house so not enough utinsels for 11 people. The blue kayak fills with water and sinks. When I was hosing out one of the coolers we brought I could hear water hitting the ground coming from under the house, someone was doing dishes in the kitchen sink and the drain pipe was leaking all the water under the house. That should be repaired asap. There were drywall patches that were not painted also. The price per night just did not reflect in the house itself.

Overall an enjoyable stay

Overall we really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was spacious and clean. The location was perfect and the private dock was wonderful. However, one frustrating aspect was the lack of communication.

Beautiful home and perfect location

We really enjoyed our stay at this house. The location is perfect on the lakefront. We enjoyed the pier for fishing and enjoying the sunsets. Communication with the property manager was great. The house needs some tweaking - minor issues that did not affect our stay. I was surprised to have to pay an additional fee for the use of the kayaks and paddleboards - that should be mentioned in the listing. But overall - we'd love to come back again and really enjoyed the house.

Perfect location

The property itself is gorgeous. No better place to wake up to than on the lake! While the grounds are beautiful, for the price, the house could definitely use some maintenance. The doorknob to the patio fell off when opening and it looked like there was cardboard holding it together, the lights didn’t work in one of the upstairs rooms and when I texted the host they were aware but it was never communicated, the towels racks in the master bathroom were extremely flimsy. Just seemed like it needed some TLC for how much it is to stay a night. Over all it was a wonderful stay

Leaky Roof and other Issues

Although the scenery and location was amazing, our stay was less than perfect. We stayed about a week and there was not enough of the basic necessities like paper towels and toilet paper. We have stayed at many VRBO in the past and never had to make so many trips to the store for basic essentials like this. Pantry was barely stocked, no cleaning supplies. Found one scrubbing bubbles can in the bathroom, but it was empty. On day 2 the downstairs game room roof started leaking after it started raining. Sent a picture to the property manager whose response was, "Good morning, the owner is aware. It cannot be repaired until this weather passes." The next day it traveled across the whole ceiling. We put some plastic tubs under any leak we could find and the manager was notified again. The day after, a huge bubble full of water filled up by the back door. Sent another picture to the manager with no response. Not impressed and wouldn't recommend. I hope the owners see this and have a word with the property manager.

Perfect location

We loved this property and location. The kids were excited for air hockey and the fire pit - both that we unable to use, but the house was beautiful and very clean/comfortable. Im glad we were able to get to the store to buy firewood because the fireplaces were perfect. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Lakeside Property

Beautiful property on the lake. Hot tub, game room with air hockey and mini arcade for kids. Beds were comfortable. Fishing off the dock was fun for all the boys and men. Noticed very minor issues such as worn leather sofa and the water dispenser in the refrigerator not working but that did not affect our stay and we absolutely loved the home.

We have stayed here twice now and it is an amazing getaway!! Beautiful cabin, lake front and great fishing. Wonderful huge deck to look at the lake on. All around amazing place that we will continue to stay at.

Fees back on our stay

Gorgeous home, thank you for all the communications and hospitality. I noticed the oven wasn't working. So maybe it's something to look into. There was also a stain on the carpet in the game room when we arrived. Overall everything was such a nice stay.

Amazing home!

We have stayed at Rainbow Lake many times but this home is now our favorite!! Stunning home and amazing location. We fished and kayaked for 3 days. The home has everything you could possibly need especially in the kitchen. Absolutely fabulous vacation rental!!! We will definitely be back.
