Hidden Palmetto sits among many developments in a maturing Hanahan neighborhood. With a fully functional kitchen featuring marble countertops and a washer and dryer, Hidden Palmetto was designed to provide families, couples, and buddies with a living space emphasizing natural light and all the conveniences of home. Its three bedrooms include an elegant master suite with a sitting area allowing you to enjoy morning coffee while enjoying the natural light through the home's massive windows. Hidden Palmetto also offers bunk beds for families and a bedroom on the first floor. The covered patio is a great place to relax and enjoy your time if you want outdoor living. There is also WiFi and a workspace to meet any entertainment or business needs. With an alarm system and outdoor cameras, you will feel safe in the space.

OPEN FLOOR PLAN LIVING
Head inside, and you will be welcomed into the open main floor. Plop down on the couch and enjoy a movie. If you're looking to cook an excellent meal for the family or your friends, the fully stocked kitchen will provide everything you need to do so, including all major appliances including:

MAIN FLOOR BEDROOM
When you continue past the living room, you will come to the first bedroom, which includes a comfy queen-sized bed and a dresser so that you can unpack your items. You can also directly access the main floor bathroom via a pocket door.

MAIN BATHROOM
In the hallway and adjacent to the main floor bedroom is a 3/4 bath (no tub) with a vanity and shower.

UPSTAIRS BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS
Continue to the third floor, and youā€™ll find the master bedroom with a queen-sized bed and en suite 3/4 bath (no tub).

At the opposite end of the hallway, youā€™ll find the third bedroom with a twin over full bunk bed. Additionally, thereā€™s a desk with a stool to tackle any pressing work.

The third bathroom sits in the hallway with a tub shower combo.

Laundry
A washer and dryer are located on the third floor. Detergent, fabric softener, iron, and ironing board are also provided.

This home is located in Hanahan, a community of North Charleston that sits within an easy drive of downtown Charleston and the historic center (12 miles south). We had a great stay. The house is exactly like the pictures show. It has plenty of room. It was clean and well stocked with linens, dishes, furniture, and towels. It was clean which is very important to us. It has the cutest backyard and a one car garage. We especially like that it is nestled into a lot with two other very well maintained homes. The neighborhood seemed sketchy at first, but it is quiet and peaceful. The house is in a good location to venture all throughout the Charleston area and even swing by the Walmart.

Beautiful home

This is a great spot to spend quality time with friends and family. There are a lot of stairs so if you have disabled or elderly this may not be the right fit for you. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the stay!

Great stay

Great stay. Neighborhood is older but overall quiet. House is nice and new build. Could have better seating in the living room as there is one small couch and 2 uncomfortable chairs. Had to extend out stay twice and host was most accommodating. Overall great stay. Would stay there again!! House has lots of stairs just FYI

The house is conveniently located in the heart of North Charleston, with a supermarket (Food Lion) and great restaurants like Dashi just a short walk away. Itā€™s in a safe area (even at night)ā€”only minutes from the airport and major highways, which makes getting around incredibly easy. The trendy Park Circle district, known for its outstanding restaurants (Lola) and cozy cafĆ©s (Odd Duck CafĆ©, EVO Bakery, Prophet Coffee), is just a short drive south. Be sure to check out the playground at Park Circleā€”itā€™s probably one of the biggest and best weā€™ve ever seen! Super clean, a huge variety of activities for all ages, and incredibly friendly locals. The home itself is very well equipped and perfect for families with children. We would definitely book again!

This would have been a great stay if it wasn't for the AC going out prior to our arrival. According to someone who visited the house, this was not the first time this AC has gone out. We went without AC for 3 straight nights. The owner did have small fans delivered to the house; however, they didn't work well especially when you awake in the morning and the temp is at 80 degrees and very humid inside. Moreover, the owner said that he would pay us 200 for our inconvenience. It has been over 6 weeks and still no reimbursement. I had to call VRBO 3 times regarding this issue. VRBO has left many messages with the owner and still no response. Be careful in staying here because if the AC goes out in the summer, you will suffer with the heat especially when the bedrooms are upstairs.

Hanahan House

The property was very very nice! There was definitely plenty of room for our family. We even have a toddler and the stairs were no problem at all. This place has everything you need. Check in and out was a simple process. The house has an alarm system so it was nice peace of mind when staying in a strange place. This area was located within a short drive to all the attractions and beaches. We would definitely stay again!

Charleston vacation

It was a nice property very well maintained. The neighborhood is older and somewhat run down but there are also newer and well maintained older homes and it was a quiet neighborhood. The home is three levels which is helpful to work off all the great food you can eat in Charleston. Justin was very responsive to all of our questions and requests.

Great house

We had a great time during our stay. The house was very nice. Very clean and cozy. Fenced backyard. Sheets and towels provided. Kitchen was well equipped. Parking was tight, 2 in driveway (not big) and 1 in garage if the garage is available. Overall, it was a great stay and if given a chance, we will stay here again.

We had a great stay overall. The house was very clean, spacious, and had plenty of room for our entire family plus our pup. The home itself was beautiful and nicely decorated. The beds were firm but comfortable, and while the living room furniture wasnā€™t the most comfortable, it was still functional for our stay.The kitchen had a great layout with plenty of counter space and was well equipped with a 12-cup coffee maker, single-serve coffee maker, toaster, and kettle. One note for future guests: the skillet wasnā€™t usable due to the Teflon peeling, so Iā€™d recommend bringing your own if you plan to cook.This was a last-minute trip, and we booked the day before arrival. I didnā€™t initially receive the lock code, but when I messaged the host, he responded immediately and sent it right away. There was an alarm system that we werenā€™t aware of, so it was a surprise when it triggered upon arrival, but it was quickly and remotely disarmed, which we appreciated.The neighborhood is older and looks a bit run down, but we felt safe and found it to be quiet. We discovered an amazing nearby parkā€”Park Circle,which our family absolutely loved and would highly recommend, especially if traveling with kids.The location was very convenient, about 20ā€“30 minutes from all the places we wanted to visit. Thereā€™s a Publix nearby for groceries, and Scooterā€™s Coffee quickly became a daily stop for us.Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely keep this home on our list of places to

I booked this home for a girls weekend trip to Charleston and the nearby beaches. Justin, the host, was extremely helpful and answered my messages in a very timely manner. He was absolutely wonderful! The home itself was very clean and nice and tucked away so we had some privacy. The neighborhood and sorrounding area wasn't the nicest, but it was quiet and we never felt unsafe. It was a short and easy drive to Charleston and isle of palms. It fit out needs perfectly and I would definitely stay here again.
