The house was comfortable and well located, making it easy to enjoy the Cape. Everything was clean on arrival and the kitchen had what we needed for meals. Communication with the host was straightforward and check-in went smoothly. A few small details kept it from being a perfect stay, such as some wear and tear in the furnishings and minor maintenance items that could use attention, but overall it was a solid place to spend a vacation. We’d consider staying here again.

A lovely cottage in a quiet and friendly neighborhood. Our family of four plus the dog thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home. It came with a lot of thoughtful touches and small “starter kits” that made our stay a little more enjoyable and smooth. The kayaks were a hit as was the boardwalk along the pond a block down. It was the perfect location of quiet with easy access to stores, entertainment, and route 28 and 6 to access the entire Cape.

Enjoyable Week!

We loved being by the lake and enjoyed the lake view from the kitchen and living room. The access code to the front door made things easier vs using a key. Special touches with the snacks and water brita were greatly appreciated.

South Yarmouth stay

Enjoyed the quiet location which was not too far from Hyannis and other towns for easy travel to activities. Cottage was clean and comfortable with a nice touch of having a few basic staples available upon arrival.

Great weekend getaway with the pups!

My husband and I had a great visit with our 2 labs. We all loved the deck overlooking Swan Lake. The neighborhood was quiet and a great place to walk around. Only a few minute drive from the beaches, restaurants and other activities.

Cozy cottage feel

Our experience was fantastic . The cottage was beautiful and very clean. Loved all the decor, it really made you feel at home. The view is beautiful of the pond and the deck is nice and big for a group of people to hang out on. There was a binder with tons of info of the area which is very helpful . Great neighborhood. Overall it was a terrific experience and we would definitely come back. Thank you for making it such a cozy stay for all of us .

Wonderful stay

The house was charming, very clean and equipped with welcome amenities. Beautiful views of the lake. Good location for relaxing and exploring other towns on the cape. We lucked out with near perfect weather. Host was very accessible, though we only needed her once.

3 sisters plus one

My sisters and daughter joined me on the Cape for a week’s stay. We had a great time at Laurie’s house. It is perfectly located and easy to use as a home base. We explored most of the cape and took the ferry to Martha’s Vineyard. The decor is lovely and we had everything we needed to cook and hang out. Lots of great places to eat and beach when we wanted to do that We were 4 adults so sleeping was a little cramped -that’s on us as we had two last minute guests added. We would happily come back. Thank you

Cute and cozy

This cute and cozy lake cottage had everything we needed for an enjoyable and quiet three night stay on Cape Cod. We had fun exploring the little lake in the kayaks and appreciated the other extras like beach chairs and towels. Thank you for the snacks. My kids were excited about those, and we thought it was a nice touch. Even though this property allows dogs, we saw no sign of dog hair anywhere. It was very clean. The house is in a convenient location for exploring all of Cape Cod.

Beautiful home, Great location

We had a very relaxing week exploring Cape Cod. The house is lovely and very comfortable, and has everything you could possibly need. The neighborhood is very scenic, and perfect for long walks with our dog. Its location on the Cape makes exploring different towns very easy. Loved it! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Excellent stay

Wonderful location, central to several great beaches and activities. Host was extremely responsive and went above and beyond to leave amenity baskets and welcome treats for us. Highly recommend for families with children.

Wonderful Start to Summer!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this charming, cozy cottage to kick off our summer. The rental is beautifully updated, with everything one would need and so much more. Our young family loved the view and access to the pond as well as bird, bunny, (and dog) watching, and walking around the quiet neighborhood. My husband and I also had a chance to take out for the kayaks for a quick trip was a highlight! Laurie and Mike truly have an amazing property which we were lucky to share! Thank you again!

Wonderful June Visit to the Cape

We stayed at the property to visit my parents who live in Yarmouth Port in June for my Dad's 80th Birthday. Loved the decor inside and all of the special touches and amenities the owner provided. Perfect size for us, our teenage son, and our black lab mix. Wish we had better weather to enjoy the kayaks and the water but it unfortunately was rainy and windy most of the weekend. Only suggestion I might make is for additional lounge chairs or better seating on the deck to enjoy the beautiful water view. All in all a great stay.

Perfect place for a Cape trip

Mike and Laurie’s house was just what we needed for our Cape getaway. The house was clean and beautifully decorated, while also having everything we needed to make our stay easy. The water views from the house are so beautiful and being able to use the kayaks was an added bonus. The location of the house is close to so many activities as well as stores. The neighborhood is perfect for walking and biking. We brought our dog with us and all of the dog friendly touches made our stay even more special. We can’t wait to go back again! Thank you Mike and Laurie!

Great place to unwind, The tranquility of the mesmerizing saltwater views and amazing sounds of the birds is very relaxing and peaceful. We have deeded beach rights right across the street. we are 1 of only 22 homes in the area which is a perfect place to sit and read a book or launch a kayak. The Meadowbrook Conservation Area and boardwalk is about 4 houses away. The area consists of brackish marsh, salt marsh, and relic Atlantic cedar swamp. A 310 foot boardwalk leads from the parking area to the shore of Swan Pond. A large expanse of phragmites yield to salt water cattails and eventually salt marsh grasses. The remnants of an ancient Atlantic white cedar stand can be seen to the east of the boardwalk. Home to many native and migratory waterfowl and birds including Egrets, Osprey, Red Wing Black Birds, different species of Ducks, fish Herring, Bluefish, Stripper and trees such as the Tupelo trees that turn crimson red in the fall.

Close to Bike path and Cape Cod Rail Trail you can bring bikes or rent bikes here in town. The home is a couple houses from Meadowbrook Conservation Area and boardwalk.

We are centrally located so we are close to everything 5 or 6 minutes to warm Nantucket sound beaches and north side beaches. Rte 28 is just on the other side of the pond where you will find, shopping, dining, ice cream, mini golf ( locals call putt putt) Cape Cod Baseball league games, bowling that has ax throwing and corn hole arcade. Hyannis is about 10 minutes away where you will find the Cape Cod Mall, more dining, shopping, the ferry to Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard as well as the Airport, hospital, JFK Library and
more.
