This beautifully designed northern side of the duplex offers a perfect blend of luxury and comfort, accommodating up to 19 guests (with a maximum of 14 adults and 6 kids). With 7 bedrooms and 5.5 baths, this home is ideal for large family gatherings or group vacations. Enjoy the tranquility of three covered porches and a private, fenced-in saltwater pool that can be heated for your enjoyment.

We traveled with family and friends and the house was perfect for all of us ! Easy walk to the night life for the young adults, easy access to the beach for the toddlers and great views for us old folks ! Can we talk about the bathroom facilities at the beach access !!! Game changer ❤️❤️❤️ The house was very clean and had every little extra that we didn’t know we needed. Great experience to close out the summer.

Perfect beach house for our family

The Lazy Loon has been our family beach vacation destination for 3 years so far. We love the layout of the house that includes all the amenities we need to relax and enjoy our time together. Kathy and Steve are very responsive, friendly hosts if we have issues.

Perfect location! House has all the amenities you could need. Very well stocked and very clean. The house is so solid and quiet. No squeaking. We would definitely stay here again and plan on it! The property owners are very responsive also.

Great Vacation Home for our Family

The house was amazing and well maintained. My kids were able to have their own rooms (which they loved) and we were able to have family time in the common areas to play games and eat dinner. The house is in a great spot next to the beach and the private pool was very clean and refreshing after a hot day at the beach. The owners were very responsive whenever we had questions or had any issues. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location great house and great owners!

This is our second time staying at the LazyLoon. It is a Very well maintained beach house. The owners want you to have a great experience. They are on top of fixing things very quickly. Thank you Kathy and Steve! The location to the beach access is just a short walk away. You have the convenience of several restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Or a short drive away.

Great stay

The home was clean and well maintained, and Steve was very responsive to any questions we had throughout our stay. The location and and view was also wonderful! The beach is clean and it was so nice to swim in the private pool. After our stay at the Lazy Loon a few of us went to stay in Myrtle Beach for a couple days and we sure were wishing we were back in Surfside at the Lazy Loon instead!

The perfect family vacation!

From the outside amenities; the pool, outdoor shower, grill and so much more, it was amazing! Then you go into the beautiful home and there is nothing the owners did not think of. Two washer/dryers, fully equipped kitchen, plenty of bathrooms and two refrigerators! Our beds were very comfortable and everything was very clean. We would return year after year to this home. The Lazy Loon is a special place!

Loved that we could see the ocean from all of the balconies; house was nicely appointed and very clean; big plus was having two refrigerator/freezers; elevator was an advantage when unloading suitcases and groceries; lots of room; beach chairs were provided.

We had 8 gentlemen who came to Myrtle Beach for 5 days to golf and the Lazy Loon was exceptional. Everything you could ask for in lodging and the proximity to the beach was amazing. We will probably return next year for our annual golf trip

Roomy house in a great location.

When we booked Lazy Loon, we were hoping to find an oceanfront property that would meet our needs, but none were available. While this home is not on the beach, it is the next best thing! It has a great view of the beach and the water, easy access to the public access, and is a short walk to the pier and al the restaurants in the center of Surfside. We were able to easily fit all our vehicles and 14 people in the house comfortably without it ever feeling crowded. We had a few questions arise early in our stay, and Kathy and Steve responded right away. There was even an issue with one of the clothes dryers, and he had it replaced in less than 12 hours. House was clean and had all the items needed for our stay. Huge table that fit us all for meals, and a great bedroom layout, especially the bunk bed room on the top floor - the kids felt like they had their own private space to hang out. It was really great!

Awesome time at the Lazy Loon!

Our entire family enjoyed our second visit to the Lazy Loon! The owners are very attentive, welcoming, and great hosts! The house was everything we needed to have time together - gathering spaces, balconies, and the pool. We enjoyed the closeness of the beach, restaurants, pier activities, markets and all the area had to offer. Many cherished memories were made!

Surfside Beach Vacation

We enjoyed our stay at the Lazy Loon! The beach was so close and the pool was so refreshing - especially since it was 92* much of our vacation. We enjoyed walking and shelling at the beach. The pier was walking distance and Drippy’s ice cream hit the spot at the end of the day.

Family vacation

We loved this property for our family of 12. The location is perfect and the house was great. Fourth of July week was fun with a community golf cart parade, a beach flyover and beach fireworks that we watched from the balcony. It was a perfect summer vacation. Since one in our group had difficulty with the stairs, the elevator was a big help. Loved the small walkable town of Surfside Beach.

Great vacation

Our family of 13 had a wonderful stay. The house was close the public beach access where there was a mat for those with mobility issues to use to get to the beach. The pool was great too!

Lovely stay

My family and I recently stayed at the lazy look and it exceeded all of our expectations. The location was absolutely perfect - just a short walk to the beach, fantastic restaurants, and the pier. We loved being able to easily walk to all of these attractions without having to worry about driving or parking. The beach house itself was spacious and comfortable, with plenty of room for our large family. The living room and kitchen were open and airy, and the bedrooms were cozy and well-appointed. We especially loved spending time on the deck, enjoying the ocean views and fresh sea air. The house was also well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing vacation, from beach chairs and towels to a fully stocked kitchen. We appreciated the attention to detail and thoughtfulness of the owners in providing these amenities. Overall, our stay at this beach house was fantastic and we will definitely be returning in the future. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay near the beach.

Great Place for a Family Vacation!

Our family of 17 really enjoyed our vacation at the Lazy Loon in Surfside Beach. The kitchen had a lot of items that made our stay comfortable, and the numerous bedrooms and bathrooms were appreciated. Nice ocean view from the main floor deck, and we made good use of the elevator. The extra beach chairs were a nice touch. Plenty of room for all of us!

Wonderful stay!

The home was lovely and well appointed. The sunrise views from the porches in the morning were spectacular. We traveled with our 90 year old mom, so the elevator and golf cart were much appreciated amenities. If you are going to stay in Surfside Beach, you can't go wrong at the Lazy Loon! Renee Dallas

Beautiful house, perfect location, well, equipped, excellent hosts, I could go on and on. Hey, my family, all 15 of us, ages 1 to 67 thoroughly enjoyed this house in every way. It was everything and more that I had hoped it would be. I highly recommend the Lazy Loon.

This place is paradise.

First of all, this place is much closer to the beach than it looks on Google Maps. You really don’t even need a golf cart to get to the beach. You can just walk right to it. The house was clean and the owners are more than helpful on any issues that we had. The parking on the beach side of the house was confusing. It is marked as guest parking only but I almost got a ticket. The first night we were there being told by Surfside that it was paid to park public parking only. Overall, our family really enjoyed our stay in the house was clean. The beach was nice. The weather was beautiful and we will definitely be looking to book here again.

We are a family of 5 who love our homes in Surfside Beach SC, “The Family Beach”. Throughout the years we vacationed at many different places along the coast of North and South Carolina. When we stayed at Surfside Beach, we knew this was the place we wanted to purchase a home at. It has so much more to offer than the other coastal areas we visited previously- it is a small family-oriented town only 2 miles long, that is clean, safe, and close to all the activities of the Myrtle Beach Grand Strand, and is golf cart and pedestrian friendly so you can leave the car parked and just enjoy family time.

When we were younger, we stayed at many places, but they always seemed to let us down- issues with cleanliness, location, amenities, etc. We decided if we were ever fortunate enough to own a beach home that we, or people who visited our home, would never experience these issues. We offer everything possible at our homes. We handle all rentals on our own, being most rental companies are concerned with profit above guest satisfaction. We do everything possible to ensure a 5 star stay for our guests who often become friends over the years, and even have a local contact, who is a friend of ours, to help handle any unforeseen issues that one may incur during their stay.

We try to make sure our homes have everything that you would have at your personal home like a well-stocked kitchen and laundry, plus nice amenities while on vacation like private pools, hammocks, linens and house towels, beach toys and chairs, ping pong, and some of the homes also have elevators, and included golf carts. On top of all of that our places are clean, and none of them are very far from the beach, or shopping, restaurants, and attractions.
