Yet, you may find it hard to leave the comfort of your own backyard with the private sparkling pool and hot tub awaiting you in the sweet sunshine!

When you find a bit of downtime inside, the three-story layout will allow everyone to find their little slice of paradise. The lower level features a living area complete with a sofa, foosball table, TV, a full-size fridge, and access to the backyard through sliding glass doors. The middle level will be ideal for those who want a bit of peace and quiet, as three bedrooms call this level home; two of these have balcony access. And, when everyone wants to gather together, the upper level features a magnificent full kitchen with modern appliances, an accommodating dining area, the main living area, and access to the upper deck boasting the best views.

Private Pool Dates: The private pool is open May 1st through October 15th. The private pool is unavailable outside of these dates.
The shared pool is available from Memorial Day through September.
For January and February bookings, please contact the property management company to ensure the hot tub is available.

Enjoyable and close to beach

Overall, the house was clean and visitor ready. It’s close walking distance to beach with a turtle pond a short distance the other direction. Close to shopping and food. Totally worth it!

Another great time!

Easter getaway

Spacious even with 11 people. Nice kitchen appliances. Quick walk to the beach & nearby shoppes. Would stay here again!

Awesome

Whatcha dune was a great house literally zero complaints. We loved our stay for a first time in Corolla. The amenities of this house were perfect. Close to beach,shops,restaurants grocery stores. Loved the pool and the open concept main room and kitchen! Will check out this house again for another trip!

Great location

Location cannot be beat - steps from the ocean in a quiet neighborhood, very close to restaurants and shopping. Wish the pool was open during our stay but the jacuzzi satisfied the kids. Our dog loved the house too. We will be back.

Great week

The house had everything we needed for a nice week! Our propane tank was empty and the second floor AC wasn’t working - with a quick chat with maintenance, someone was out in a few hours to fix the AC and bring a full propane tank.

Great OBX vacation

This home has a lot of nice amenities, it’s in a quiet neighborhood with very close Beach access and you can walk or ride bikes for shopping and activities. Just be aware there are 33steps up and 33steps down to get to the beach. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to cook family meals in if u like, Keurig, regular coffee pot, toaster oven, air fryer, blender, lots of plates, bowls, glasses, silverware etc. Love they provide started kits of essentials, such as dish soap, bath soap, shampoo and conditioner etc., plenty of games to play. TV in every room, so everyone can watch what they want. Loved the Master bath rain shower and worked perfectly. The Master bedroom was noisy to get in and out of, overall comfortable beds less one not to great. Pool was well maintained and clean. House was clean and we had a very enjoyable stay. Would recommend this house.

Great Location but House needs work

The location is great. Close to the beach (just a few minutes walk), grocery stores, shops and restaurants. Well stocked kitchen for cooking at home. Beds were comfortable (aged and broke in, but still comfortable). The negatives are that the showers drain really slow. Master bath shower on top floor overflows the basin and floods the bathroom floor if you don't turn the water off during your shower. Other showers drain slow as well but they are shower tub combos so no fear of overflowing in those. We also saw 2 cockroaches in the den during our stay (one roach on two different days. And yes, we killed them when we saw them)! This was worse than a slow drain! Had all the food put away and sealed so no food for them to actually get jnto. There was 1 door on the top floor that wouldn't lock but it goes out to a small balcony off the dining area with no external steps so we weren't too worried about it. The last item was the garage door didn't work. It was unplugged and the chain was off the track/sprocket. Somehow by the end of the week it was fixed. We didn't call this in as a repair since we only stored our beach chairs and umbrellas in it. However, no one contacted us to let us know there would be maintenance people coming to the house. Vacasa could have let us know in advance that someone would not just be on-site like the pool person but that someone would be inside the house!

Early spring break getaway

Great location and comfortable stay. Really loved the air fryer and good quality water filter on the fridge. Air circulation in kids' bunk room was a little stuffy, but really not a big deal. We enjoyed the getaway for the early shoulder season and appreciated close proximity to the beach!

Solid home…significantly overpriced for the quality

I have been visiting the OBX for 40 years so I have seen so many homes up and down the coast. As a newer visitor to Corolla (2nd visit in 2 years) I was hopeful that this home would be a stunner for the high price tag. We stayed at an oceanfront home the same week last year and paid 50% less for the rental fee for the same if not better quality home. While the home was fine it did not warrant the price tag of over $8k for the week. The home interior was fine with many flaws such as paint on trim, unfinished steps, a dis functional shower in the master that flooded every time you used it. Again if we hd not paid so much for the home I probably would have rated this home much higher. Additionally this subdivision is directly next to a sewage treatment facility and on most days of you are on the deck or in the pool you very much smell it. The kitchen had old and outdated tools and such - and while well stocked it felt like 1995. We had no blankets on the beds for the first night and while the property was ready early we would have rather waited until it was truly ready. A pair of swim trunks was found in the pool upon arrival and there was garbage brimming out of all of them outdoor garbage cans. In the spirit of love for the OBX this trip was of course magical because of what the OBX is and means to my family - and for this cost we will book elsewhere in the future as this home is not worth the high price tag.

Incredible home and location!

We had an amazing stay, relaxing by the pool, on the beach and in the family areas. The location cannot be beat - close to fun and the beach. I cannot wait to go back!
