Relax at The Legacy Lodge!

We welcome you to come and be our guest at the Legacy Lodge.

Guests pay an additional 12% of nightly rate BBR Recreation Fee billed through VRBO within a week of reservation. Hosts do not receive any part of this fee.

Love, care and updates have been put into our cabin to make our guests have an amazing stay.

We have a Fido crate, bowls, mats, and other goodies to make your stay with your dog more comfortable.

The decks have loungers and outdoor supplies to enjoy the private outdoor beauty that surrounds you!

Our air conditioned home has comfortable accommodations for 11 people. On the main floor there are three bedrooms with king beds and two full baths.

The "bunkroom" is upstairs with two sets of bunk beds (twin mattresses), a trundle (twin mattress), and a fold out couch (single mattress). A 40" Smart TV with cable in the Bunkroom makes it the perfect "kid's room". Off the Kid's Bunkroom is a third bathroom with shower.

Also upstairs is a loft with wraparound seating for a 65" Smart TV, with cable. All common Streaming Services available on both TVs. We also offer free high speed Wi-Fi at the house.

The kitchen is fully equipped - there is a propane gas barbecue on the huge wrap-around deck. For those who prefer not to cook, the Ranch, Sisters, and Camp Sherman offer excellent restaurants only minutes away.

For your convenience, bedding, towels, and 2 sets of washer/dryers are provided. A cleaning service is also required.

We are located at Glaze Meadow -182 in the quiet southeast corner of the ranch on a double lot with plenty of privacy but a quick bike ride to the Glaze Meadow Recreation Center, with indoor pool which is open year-round.

The Legacy Lodge has exterior cameras to protect the property when guests are not present. There are no cameras inside of The Legacy Lodge.

The exterior cameras include a Ring door bell at the main entrance, a camera viewing the entry doors, a camera viewing the parking lot, and a camera viewing the sliding glass door and deck. The Ring camera is always operational. The other cameras are operational on arrival and departure days but not operational during your stay.

A wonderful getaway for our family of four and our father and mother in law! The beads were so nice, kids loved the bunk beds and the property was perfect!Love how many bikes were there in the garage, the gas fireplace was perfect for s’mores and best of all we were able to have my mother in laws little dog with us too. The kitchen had everything one needed to make meals.

A lovely Black Butte home with owners who clearly have “been a guest”. They’ve thought of everything to make the stay easy and convenient. The kitchen is very tiny but couldn’t have been more organized and all the essentials were there and of nice quality (sharp knives!, sheet pans!). I missed a tea kettle but boiled water in a saucepan just fine. We had a fun movie night in the comfy loft but enjoyed most evenings with puzzles, star gazing walks, and the gas firepit. Black Butte is such a special place for our family and this home was a perfect place to celebrate with our adult children.

A perfect BBR house for us

Our family was so happy to have this house as our home base during a wedding weekend. The house is spacious yet cozy, with a nice living room, well appointed kitchen, well-sized bedrooms (with bunks upstairs), and a great 'hang-out' deck surrounding by Pines. It's located on the edige of BBR yet a short walk to the beautiful Glaze Meadow and about a mile from the GM pool and courts. Hoping to visit again.

Great stay at the Legacy Lodge

Had a great time in Black Butte with some friends for a long weekend visit. House was clean, easy to find, it’s an easy bike ride to the Glaze Meadow pool/park. Kids, dogs, and parents all had a great time! Will look into the Legacy Lodge for future Black Butte trips.

Great stay at BBR!

We found this place in Black Butte Ranch to stay with two other families for our annual winter weekend getaway. We absolutely loved the Legacy Lodge as it had everything we needed and it was in perfect proximity to Hoodoo. Renee was very accommodating and very responsive in replies.

Wonderful Place to stay

Great home in a quiet neighborhood. Our family of 6 stayed for a Christmas trip and we had a great time. Lots of activities and things to do at the lodge and pool. Only downfall was I wish the kitchen area was a little bigger trying to cook for such a big family. Overall great place to stay.

Amazing Stay

Very nice!

Overall, nice place. Kitchen was a little small for six adults. Outdoor deck and fire pit was really nice. Mistakenly assumed the three bedrooms each had a bathroom. Not so. One couple had to sleep in the bunk beds in order to have their own bathroom upstairs. Well appointed with every thing you need.

Quiet and relaxing stay

Property worked for our group, very quiet and serene. Pool is driving distance away. Kitchen is small but was workable for us. Property managers communicated well when needed. Overall, great stay!

Great location and place!

Everything about staying here felt premium. The only downside is that there is that checking in can be fiddly since you have to do it in person at the welcome center. But that took like 10 minutes. Great place!

Wonderful Christmas

This was a delightful Christmas for a family of adults. The house was perfect with enough room for all to have their own space. The kitchen/living area was delightful and big enough for everyone to be together -- and the wood burning fireplace added a certain magic. Even a separate TV area to watch games and movies without interrupting card games or someone taking a nap.

Great holiday escape

We had an excellent time during our stay and enjoyed the home. The kids loved their space in the loft and spent much of their time up there when not out exploring. The house came fully stocked with everything you need. My only feedback is that the floors were sticky on the main floor so we re-mopped them. I think the cleaning folks used dish soap in the mop so we just mopped over everything with light water and dried it. Overall, our holiday visit was cozy by the fire and quite memorable!

Great Time in Beautiful Surroundings

We were four couples in the area for a long wedding weekend nearby in Sisters. This property perfectly suited for our needs. Very clean with many amenities that we didn’t even have time to enjoy—bicycles, fire pit, fireplace! Communication with Renee was excellent and she addressed all our questions promptly. Highly recommend the Legacy Lodge!

Nice house in a quiet area of the ranch

We enjoyed our stay. The house met our expectations given the description & reviews. Bedrooms were nicely sized, the extra washer/dryer were helpful, and the house is just a mile from Glaze Meadow pool in a quiet area. I would have liked a larger mutual gathering area inside the house. There's not much space outside the bedrooms. But since the weather was great, we spent a lot of time on the large deck. (Watch your step in the dark - it's not all one level.) We did call the owner once because a storage area that should have been locked was open on our arrival. We stowed items and it locked before we realized our mistake. She was pleasant and quickly resolved the issue. We were a bit surprised to get charged for some items after our stay, on top of the cleaning fee. For instance, a toilet seat was damaged (but still partly attached) when we checked in. I should have let the owner know that but didn't. My mistake. We tried to fix it but couldn't. It ultimately broke. We were also charged for TP and using the "owner supply." We didn't use any TP that wasn't readily accessible. We certainly didn't use anywhere near the amount indicated in the summary of charges. We also would have bleached sheets if bleach was available. All in all, we enjoyed our stay, but the extra charges left a sour taste given the rate we paid. (Are you sure the cleaning crew isn't taking TP?) We've stayed at BBR houses for 40 years and alway try to do a great job cleaning up prior to departure.

Wonderful family experience

First visit to Oregon. Beautiful area. House was great for our family. Might have liked a larger kitchen area, but after rearranging a few things all was good. Enjoyed the way the rooms were arranged. Appliances all worked very well and really enjoyed two washers and dryers. Wonderful family experience.

Excellent house and hosts

What a wonderful, clean, and inviting home. The layout is perfect for a family or group with a range of ages. The loft/tv and bunk room (with bathroom) is upstairs while three bedrooms/two baths are on the main floor. Two sets of laundry. Bike to glaze meadow rec across the beautiful meadow.Hosts were incredibly friendly and responsive. We'd love to return!

A wonderful home!

Located nice and close to the recreation center and a wonderfully appointed home which made our vacation outstanding! It snowed multiple times throughout our stay and the fireplace made tge house nice and cozy!

Beautiful and Cozy

This was a perfect place to take a few families with kiddos. The kids had a great time in the loft and the parents enjoyed our stay immensely. Everything was set up perfect, the beds were very comfortable and the owner was kind enough to let us check in a few hours early due to the impending weather. Would definitely recommend!
