Peaceful Pond Retreat - Waterfront Camper Glamping

Enjoy the sounds of nature swaying pond side on a hammock or enjoying cocktails in a lounge chair. Tucked away in the pines, but just 10 minutes to a grocery store this camper turned cottage is sure to give you a mental and physical recharge.

Quiet and relaxing with minimal noise and light pollution make this spot perfect for a get away. Vast open skies offer exquisite star gazing. The year round pond and creek are rare gems here in the sierras.

Inside the camper has been remodeled with updated paint and furniture. A queen bed, futon and twin air mattresses (available on request) make this the perfect spot for a gathering of friends, family, solo travel or even romantic sanctuary.

Need some extra room for more guests? Contact me about camping options. I am happy to have a large 2 room tent set up with bed(s) and linens for your stay (additional fee) or direct you where to set up a tent of your own!

Truly a peaceful pond retreat! I knew right away when I saw the tiny bird feeder next to the door, this was the place for me. A wonderful, comfortable and safe amazing experience. I will be back next year! For anyone with a hectic life, this is the perfect getaway. Unplug and connect with nature. The host is terrific and answered every silly question I had. :-)

Perfect spot

This was our first getaway with our brand new baby and it was perfect! We loved the outdoor area by the pond, especially with the lights at night. We will be back! Our dogs loved it too and Nicole was a great host and helped us every time I reached out with a question.

Beautiful getaway

Quiet, well-kept, and decorated with soft night lighting, this property offers a respite from busyness, but was close to Auburn, Grass Valley, and Nevada City. We loved our stay in the peaceful countryside.

Relaxing comfort in nature

Nicely maintained modern RV with lovely view of the pond. Pleasant to have table and chairs inside mosquito net enclosure. Enjoyed listening to the frogs croaking. One reason we chose the property was they are pet friendly. Hostess was gracious and accessible.

End of summer family Camping trip

Quick 2 day stay.. wish it was longer!

This place is amazing! So relaxing and secluded. The property and host are incredibly inviting and accommodating. We could only stay for 2 days but we will definatley be back because 2 days at this slice of heaven just isnt enough! Thank you Nicole!

Beautiful and cozy stay by a lovely pond. Got my hygge on in the warm RV while it rained outside. Host was very accommodating and helpful; when we were away for the day she fixed the awning that was downed in the wind. Would love to stay here again!

Beautiful setting

Although the weather wasn't great during our stay, Nicole mature the RV was warm and comfortable. Everything we could possibly need was provided for us which made visiting the local attractions easier for us. Nicole is a great host and I would recommend her to anyone I know

We were so in awe of location on day 2 we checked to stay another nite. The pond is unbelievable. Outside table chairs and pretty settings around pond to sit and reflect. This is a true 10+.

Your body will thank you

I am retired and have a bad knee. But my aches and pains were less while out by the pond. I love the quiet and nature showing itself everywhere. Great site for star watching too. We saw one shooting star the first night. Good glamping. Even my old dog, Emma, loved walking around and around the camper on the leash.

A great place to take a pause

I would 100% recommend. The trailer is super cozy & has everything you need. Both the bed & futon are super comfy. The best part is the pond. It is such a peaceful lil place to take a breather & break from the hustle. It has a constant flow of water going through & it was so calming. We brought the dogs and they loved it as well. Highly recommend. Thank you for your hospitality!

Perfect getaway for our family!

We recently stayed in celebration of our son's 10th birthday, and the place was absolutely amazing! Nicole does a perfect job of balancing privacy and communication to her guests, and it's evident that a lot of thought has gone into the amenities that she provides at the property. Check-in and check-out were easy, everything in the camper is well-organized and perfectly sized for the space, and the pond had several places to relax, despite the cool weather. Our kids had a blast in the canoe while my wife and I ate brunch at the pond-side table. Later that night, we all enjoyed dinner by the outdoor fire pit. The handmade fairy lanterns were a nice touch as well. :-) If you're looking for an affordable, private location to relax and unplug for a few days, then look no further than the Peaceful Pond Retreat! Peaceful ponds.. more like PARADISE PONDS!!!

I want to start off by saying Iā€™m super grateful to Nicole for opening up their property to us! I got the fabulous opportunity to spend my 5 year Anniversary exploring the Yuba river and this amazing little property and Iā€™m beyond happy with my visit. From the moment we got on property we were greeted by the most wonderful fluffy haired attendant (adorably big husky?pupper) who so kindly took the liberty to give us an entire tour of the outside amenities, tons of outdoor seating and the pond? Stunning view! We actually took the liberty to have a late night movie night by the pond with a full screen projector and speaker provided by Nicole that was super simple to set up and put away!! The Rv itself was spectacularly clean! And coming in to see the AC was already on and we had a nice cool place to cool off after being in the sun all day was such a careing touch. The Kitchen is FULLY stocked with anything you could need for the night! Im a bit of a home chef so this set up really let me spoil my partner with a beautiful meal. Pork Ribs, steak, Baked Bacon Potato Roses, cornbread, and home made cinnamon rolls for dessert! I mean the whole sha-bang, trust me you have room!! My biggest worry before booking was warm showers. Iv had previous bad experiences with RVs/bed&breakfasts where the warm water would only run for 5-10 minutes but Nicole has hot water for daaayyyssss!! It felt so nice to wash all the sand out of my hair at the end of the night Iā€™m telling you now BOOK THIS STAY. You will not be disappointed. My only regret was letting my shyness get the best of me and not offering a plate to our lovely hosts!!! Hopefully next time šŸ˜‰We canā€™t wait to come back soon!!

After traveling around the country for a year I landed here in Grass Valley, California. I absolutely fell in love with the people and the local small towns of Grass Valley and Nevada City. Most importantly I fell in love with the beautiful Yuba River. Coming from the East coast it was the first true blue river I had ever seen.

Eventually I searched for a home of my own and found this place. There are so few properties in this area with a year round pond and creek along with being bordered by Wolf Creek. Surrounded by water, I knew this was my home.
