Modern villa with salt-treated pool (particularly gentle on the skin)
Our Villa Maffeo is a modern villa with incredible panoramic views over the expansive landscape all the way to the sea. It was built in one of the most beautiful locations, just 10 minutes from Rethymnon. The surrounding villages can be reached in a few minutes. The house is approximately 166 sqm and is spread over three levels. The property is approximately 2,000 sqm and is planted with Mediterranean plants.
The entrance area features a gallery with lounge furniture, perfect for reading.
On the next level is the living-dining area with a fully equipped kitchen, as well as a guest toilet. The terraces and the entire pool area are also located on this level. Through the large windows and from all terraces, you have incredible views!
The terraces are furnished with modern lounge furniture, comfortable loungers with cushions, and an outdoor dining area. A large daybed is also available in the garden. Relax on the shaded terraces and unwind.
On the lower level, there are two bedrooms with an extra terrace and panoramic views all the way to the sea, each with a double bed.
A large bathroom with a large shower is right next door.
There is also another bedroom on this level with two single beds and an en-suite bathroom with a shower.
From here, there is an additional exit leading to the pool area. All bathrooms have natural light.
The washing machine is located in a small separate room.
All rooms have shutters or blinds and are equipped with fly screens. All bedrooms and the living room have air conditioning and satellite TV (Astra with almost all German channels). Underfloor heating (payable locally) provides additional comfort, making the house ideal for long-term vacationers during the colder months. The villa is also equipped with towels, bath towels, pool towels, bathrobes, tea towels, and bed linen. (We are happy to provide a baby cot and high chair.)
The villa is cleaned once a week, and linens are also changed twice a week upon request.
In the garden, there is an approximately 35 m² pool. It has steps and is treated with salt, which is particularly gentle on the skin, and an outdoor shower. A gas grill and an outdoor sink can also be found in the terrace area.
The living room terrace and the sun terrace have shaded pergolas. Enjoy your morning exercise on the terrace and take in the wonderful view. The villa is equipped with a yoga mat. If desired, Mira, the yoga instructor, can be booked and will be happy to come to your villa.

The villa has air conditioning in the living area and in every bedroom. The villa is equipped with Wi-Fi with no data limits. It is available in all rooms and on the terrace.
A car is recommended to explore the wonderful surroundings. Simply park it under the shaded carport provided for your convenience. We will be happy to assist you with booking a car.

Bed linens, towels, and pool towels are provided.
A Damana skincare line with herbal extracts and natural fragrances includes shower gel/shampoo and body lotion.
For stays of more than 7 nights, an intermediate cleaning is included halfway through the booked period.
If desired, multiple intermediate cleanings can be arranged, or for shorter stays, additional cleanings can be arranged. Please ask us.

Prices are lower in winter, and energy costs are additionally charged according to consumption.
Winter prices do not include electricity and heating oil (underfloor heating throughout the house is powered by solar and oil), which are additionally charged according to consumption. Final cleaning is included.

Starting in 2024, there will be a new regulation for tourism:
As of January 1, 2024, an eco-tax has been introduced for all guests. This is tiered according to category and season.
The fee from March 1 to October 31 is €15 per night per villa. For the months of November to February 28, the fee is €4.00 per night.
The amount must be transferred directly to the landlord's account four weeks before arrival, who will then pay it to the Greek tax office.
