Secluded Riverfront Cabin 5 acres on Little Missouri River

Right on the river! Enjoy our 5 acres of secluded mountain forest perfect for getting out of the city and into nature. Just down the road from us is 37,000 acres of wildlife management area. Fish right from our deck or the riverbank. Deer and turkey abound. We are only 7 miles away from Crater of Diamonds State Park. 18 miles from Glenwood where you can kayak the Caddo River. 35 miles from Caddo Gap hiking trails and our favorite, Winding Stair hike. Bring your ATVs for nearby trails. Lake Greeson is 6 miles away and offers pontoon rentals, and boating activities. King bedroom that has the queen sleeper sofa is a DETATCHED grandmothers suite and the bunkroom on the ground floor of the main cabin with the kitchen. The property is remote and it would be difficult for a Porshe to manage the road, our neighbors Prius made the trip.... any SUV is fine. The gravel road into the cabin is a mile long and has some steep hills. The cabin is not really designed for large people. The ceiling height in the kitchen, bunk room and outdoor kitchen area is 6'2" , the indoor staircase is relatively narrow and the furniture is not designed for large people over 250 lbs. The bunks in the bunk room are really made for kids even though they are regular size twin bunks, they are not built to hold a lot of weight.

We do have 3 outdoor security cameras that monitor approach and entry into the cabin. One camera monitors the road coming in and part of the parking area. One monitors the main entry door and stairs up to the balcony entry into the main cabin. One monitors the walkway to the cabin from the river.

OMG! This place is AMAZING! The hosts are the nicest people! They called and asked if they could replace a heater cause they saw the falling temperatures. We of course said yes, please do and thank you for making sure we are warm! Beautiful place to stay! We will definitely be back!

Very pleasant stay. The property is vast and the view of the river is pretty amazing. We were a little surprised by the quantity of cameras on the property. There were animal live feed cameras being placed through out the perimeters facing the property. In addition to that there were more cameras facing the door into the main house. Would be nice if it was disclosure in the description ahead of time. We are with families so itā€™s fine, might be a problem with couples and their privacy. All and all we feel safe and rested.

We had a great time! Thank you for sharing your beautiful property with us but yes the driveway adds to the adventure . The dam released during our stay so we enjoyed watching that and thank you Scott for giving the heads up on that in your notes. We also enjoyed watching a mother deer and her two babies playing in the yard! The cabin was clean and we loved the cabin design/decor/feel. There were several areas in and outside to hangout. If youā€™re wanting a secluded, relaxing spot this is your place!

We had an amazing time! I came for a girls trip but saved the listing for future family trips. There was lots to do at the house and the communication with the owners was top tier! Bonus: we had a good thunderstorm our second night that made the power go out.. thank goodness there was a generator! About 30 seconds after the power went out, we heard it kick on! We were the only ones with power for about 4 hours. This area is wifi dependent as the service is extremely in and out, we loved having the peace of mind of being able to at least check weather once the power was back on.

We had a great time. Nice and quiet, perfect getaway from our busy summer. Descriptions were right about it being secluded. My kids all asked about coming back. Everyone had a great time. Owner made it easy to find with directions and pictures leading up to the cabin.

Family Getaway

This house has everything! Well stocked kitchen; easy and clear directions; perfect out in the country getaway. We kayaked up and down the Little Mo, looked for cool rocks, and relaxed so much. We will be recommending this place to all our friends.

Peaceful Property

My fiancƩ and I stay here for 3 nights. Short drive to Murfreesboro and Crater of Diamonds Park. Very spacious and secluded. Perfect for a quiet vacation and beautiful views. Clean and comfortable. The host was very helpful and check in/ check out was very easy. Would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed the property. The host was easy to reach and answer our questions promptly. ProsPeaceful and secludedRiverfront CleanConsKitchen and the entire first floor ceiling height is very low- 6 ft 2 in. The entry doors are may be 5 ft 8 in. My husband kept hitting his head entering and leaving the cabin. He is 6 ft 1 in. No DishwasherYou will need a 4WD vehicle with good clearance to get to the cabin. 23 minutes away from crater of Diamonds.The host sent us information with low ceiling and acessation only a day before check-in. I think it would be helpful for guest to have this information when they are looking to book.We still enjoyed the property very much and if the ceiling height and getting to the property is not an issue, it is a wonderful getaway

Relaxing River Front

The house was great! Loved the secluded cabin on the river! The property is well maintained and worked for our family. 3 of the 5 people are disc golf players and having chain on site plus open range to practice throws from anywhere was a huge plus!

Great cabin!

We loved this cabin! Our kids called the road in the "Arkansas roller coaster"! It was a memory in and of itself! We will definitely be coming back to crystal mine, fish and enjoy the countryside!! Thank you Scott for being a great host!!

Perfect Getaway

The pictures are accurate with the property. The main cabin and suite are perfect for the times the family wants to spend inside. But with a boardwalk to a deck over the river and 5 wooded acres to walk around, we chose to hang outside most of our stay. We saw a few white tail and caught a couple trout in the riverā€¦released them back so the next visitors can catch too. We had great communication with the owner. The cabin is well stocked with what we needed and check out instructions were simple.

Cozy but spacious cabin

Great cabin for family or friend trips. Just two of us, but the cabin layout is great for privacy and quiet space for multiple guest since sleeping spaces are separated from one another and the kitchen. Thereā€™s also multiple really nice outdoor relaxing spaces. The cabin was clean and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Highly recommend.

Relaxing stay in Arkansas

We found the property to be clean and the beds were comfortable. The outdoor decks and fire pit worked perfectly for us. The drive in was an adventure and highly entertaining!! We really enjoyed all the spaces.

A Beautiful Place to Relax

Had a great time. Everything just came together for a relaxing week. Only one caution: Do Not try the drivewau after dark. It's fun in the daytime, but very scary in the dark! We will be back.

Such a fun stay

You will enjoy this cabin. The separate ā€œmother-in-lawā€ room was perfect for our young adult son. The bunk room was a very dark and had no windows. One grandson loved that, the other chose to sleep on the couch. We thoroughly enjoyed the river. The host provided tubes. The kids and I walked up the river and floated down so many times. The fishing was ok. Nothing at first, then we bought some crickets and began catching little perch. The kitchen was well equipped with the exception of disposable items. Pack your own paper goods and foil. I hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did.
