Summary:

No 306 at D Sands Condominiums is a privately owned condo located 30 steps up on the top floor. This King Suite sleeps up to 4 and offers stunning ocean views from the balcony, a King bed in the bedroom, and a Queen Murphy bed in the living room. We provide a full kitchen stocked with basic cookware, and this condo has a walk-in shower. Guests also have easy access to the beach from a short staircase on the property, and they can use the HOA's pool, cable, and commercial grade Wi-Fi.



The Space:

No 306 at D Sands Condominiums is a privately owned condo located 30 steps up on the top floor. This King Suite sleeps up to 4 and offers stunning ocean views from the balcony, a King bed in the bedroom, and a Queen Murphy bed in the living room. We provide a full kitchen stocked with basic cookware, and this condo has a walk-in shower. Guests also have easy access to the beach from a short staircase on the property, and they can use the HOA's pool, cable, and commercial grade Wi-Fi.



Guest Access:

The condo comes with a unique code which will get you entry into your unit. The indoor, heated salt water pool and hot tub can be accessed via a Pool Code on the North side of the Office building.



This is a 3rd floor unit, there are 28 steps required to access the unit.

Getting Around:

Enhance your Lincoln City experience by utilizing our local transit options! You can now schedule convenient pickups directly with Intercity Transit by calling them. Whether you're planning a trip to the beach, shopping areas, or local attractions, this service ensures a seamless and enjoyable exploration of our coastal town.



Other Things to Note:

This is a condo in a shared complex, and it's worth noting that from time to time, you might hear everyday sounds coming from neighboring units and common areas within the facility. The condo comes with a limited supply of complimentary coffee, sugar, and creamer.



Interaction with Guests:

D Sands Rentals manages all 63 privately owned beachfront condos. We have a rental office on the property that is open no less than 8 hours a day. We give you your space, but we’re available on-site if you need anything.

Wonderful central location with oceanfront view

Nice location right on the beach

Nice, clean, reasonably priced condo right on the beach in Lincoln City. We enjoyed the stay. A couple of things need attention such as the stains in the carpet, and we could not find the remote for the DVD player. Overall, the condo met our needs quite nicely.

Great Getaway

Great ocean location ... right on the beach. An older building, but good value. A couple of areas needed a bit of extra care (top of fridge?), but overall quite nice.

Great Location

Mid-week stay for a couple of days. Everything was as advertised and everything functioning well. Great oceanfront view and instant beach access. Parking was not an issue for us. Would stay again.

We understand that the stairs can be a challenge for some, but we’re glad the railings provided some assistance. While our property does not have an elevator, the direct beach access and oceanfront views are worth the climb for many of our guests. We do offer some ground floor alternatives. They're smaller studios, but some guests prefer that to climbing the stairs and we're happy to help make a recommendation. Beautiful views, thin walls.

The views of the ocean are outstanding. The place was clean and fairly modern. The walls are thin as we could hear a baby crying half of the night in the next room over.

Long Weekend getaway

It was cold outside! Warm inside. This little condo had all of the features we wanted for a nice long weekend getaway. D'Sands is well maintained. We had a 3rd floor balcony view of the ocean. Great tidal pools. Close to Depoe Bay for whale watching. We enjoyed a long walk on the beach and some retail therapy. A wonderful weekend!

Nice Condo

Has all the basics, getting extra/clean towels is easy. Staff was extremely nice. Beach access is steps away. Location makes it easy to get in and out of. If a person has a large vehicle parking options are limited.

a bit dated, but nice

The location cannot be beat! I will say it is a bit dated, and the deck was covered in bird droppings, as were the chairs on the deck, so we were unable to use it. other than that, it was perfect for the two of us!

LABOR DAY WEEKEND

Property was clean; check-in process was excellent (all online). The only downside sides were parking (not enough) and smoke from the beach fires (not the property's fault). Overall we really enjoyed our weekend at DSands. Thank you.

We're sincerely happy you enjoyed your weekend with us, and we hope you enjoyed that amazing ocean view from the third floor balcony and the easy beach access on the property. We're also glad you found our keyless self-check in process excellent! Unfortunately, our position between Highway 101 and the beach does mean our parking is limited, and we try to ask guests not to bring more than one vehicle per unit so that everyone has their fair share. And the proximity to the beach does have that downside that smoke on the public beach can get blown towards the building. Our own guests are asked not to smoke on the balconies or patios, but unfortunately, you're right that there's not much we can do about the beach fires unless someone is breaking a law. Thank you for understanding that and leaving us a great review. We really appreciate that you took the time, and we hope to see you again in the future!

Great location

Location is amazing. Can walk to restaurants & outlet mall. Right on the beach so we had a birds eye view of kite flying. 1 bedroom so bedroom is on the 101 hwy side and parking lot. Bring your ear plugs because it is noisy. Condo is in of updates and deep cleaning!!

General cleanliness at the property not good

The location is great, easy to walk everywhere, right on the beach - lots to do right there. The pool and jacuzzi were not clean or working as others have added in their reviews. They are having trouble finding good cleaning help so the unit itself had some issues. They do have cleaning supplies there so you can do your own clean as needed. It's a bit noisy right on the highway.

We are disappointed to hear that you found cleanliness to be a concern, and regret that we were not able to assist you with canceling your reservation such a short time before your arrival. We sincerely hope you are feeling better! We understand that was frustrating, but are glad you were able to share the reservation with your friend so that they were able to enjoy Lincoln City. Please be assured that your feedback has already been passed on to our Housekeeping supervisor to be addressed and used as a training opportunity for our newer staff. Our hot tub has been closed due to equipment damage from a local power surge, but our heated pool has been open and is tested regularly for health and safety. If there are any issues, we are required to close it until those issues are addressed. We are here onsite during the day, and available until 1am to address any issues guests may have, including with the pool. We sincerely hope they enjoyed your stay despite those issues, and look forward to hosting you again in the future!

Very Disappointing

This place is filthy. The couches and carpet are gross and we were all itchy the moment we arrived. We couldnt use the couch and didnt sleep well due to the filth. We would strongly discourage anyone from staying here.

Keyless Entry Without Critical Instruction

While I appreciate the intention of easing access, the keyless entry instructions I received failed to mention that you had to enter a "check" symbol on the lower left of the keypad to activate the door lock. Between this omission and a temporarily closed office at the time of our arrival we experienced a degree of frustration. Otherwise our stay was fine.

Overall it's nice.

Overall the stay was great. The only 2 downsides were that the hot tub didn't work during our stay. My sister and I both have chronic health issues and booked this place because of the hot tub. We both love to soak in hot water to ease some of the pain that we both have. There was no bathtub either. The other downside and I know this isn't the property managers fault was that the vending machine would not accept my money. Other than that, the condo was Cute, the bed was comfortable, and the view of the ocean everyday was great. Overall it was a nice place to stay

Condo 306 was super clean and tastefully decorated. The kitchen was complete for anything you wanted to cook or serve. And the most important was the view, there is no place better in Lincoln City to watch the ocean, seagulls, kites and people!
