Fabulous!

This little home is in the perfect location! Easy to pop onto the river and go to Burt Lake or Mullett Lake. The home was newly updated and perfect for our needs. It was also very clean. We loved our stay!

Great getaway

This cabin had a great location! Short walk to the beach and short walk into town. The cabin itself was very clean and updated. Great amenities provided to lighten the load when traveling. Easy to communicate with owner and very friendly. Would highly recommend this rental.

The property was amazing! It was so clean and was such a great location to Burt lake state park or the public beach just around the corner! Deborah was easy to get a hold of for questions. My family already wants to book this house for next year.

Quiet Retreat

We had just the right amount of space as a family of 4. The bathroom is small, so it's one at at time getting ready, but it's clean and organized. The kitchen and grill had all we needed to make meals. It's two blocks to the beach and two blocks to ice cream and pizza! Can't beat that for a family vacation. Petosky is 30 minutes away. Mackinac Island is 30 minutes away. Perfect location for us.

Lovely, cozy cottage!

We had a wonderful stay at this cottage! It's a beautiful house, with everything we needed for a week-long visit Up North. The host was very helpful when we had a few questions, and she was great to work with. The house was very comfortable for our family, and the front porch is fantastic for morning coffee. The location is great - it's a short walk to the beach at Burt Lake - and Indian River is a lovely, small community. Although you are in a neighborhood with other houses, with all of the trees around and the quiet streets it almost feels like you're staying in a campground, but with the amenities of real beds, AC, and WiFi. :-) It was a great central location for all of our day trips - Petoskey, Rogers City, Mackinac Island, St. Ignace. I would highly recommend this property!

Great experience!

We are very thankful to have found Debbie's property to rent. The photos don't do justice... the property really seems brand new! I was a little nervous not staying on the water on this trip to Indian River but it worked out perfectly because Devoe Beach was within walking distance. We still drove there because we had some fun beach toys to bring with us and snacks, but if any of us was ready to go home early we could easily walk. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed to make meals. It was great having a washer and dryer on hand. My husband enjoyed walking the neighborhood in the morning and heading over to Ken's market by foot if he wanted to. Anyway, I have zero complaints! Debbie was super nice and we're thankful to have found this property.

Beautiful Cottage in the perfect location

This place is very nice. Everything looks new and the place was clean and comfortable. Communication was fantastic. Down town Indian River is a short walk, as is the beach, river and pier. We enjoyed our stay.

I have always vacationed in Indian River and fell in love with the people and all the season activities. There is so much that I love to do such as water sports, biking, hiking, taking long walks, down-hill skiing, snowmobiling, side-by-siding, and visiting the surrounding areas such as my all-time favorite Mackinaw Island! I also love to raft or kayak down the Sturgeon River in the summer or the winter. So needless to say I never wanted to leave Indian River when I visited so we have decided to move to Indian River permanently this year.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

This cottage is right in the center of all the activities. There is usually a planned event going on somewhere on the beach, downtown or at the parks. You could go to Mackinaw City and catch a ferry to the Island for a day trip, or Petoskey (look for Petoskey stones on the beach). Harbor Springs (lunch overlooking the bay), Nubs Nob & Boyne Highlands (for down-hill or cross country skiing), and Gaylord (view the Elks) are all very close. If you don't want to go anywhere you can just relax in the shade right at the cottage, do a little grilling later on for dinner then a bonfire in the evening. Don't forget to walk to the pier to watch the sunset on Burt Lake.
