Hidden in Prudence Island, the secluded home offers excellent, quiet space and a peaceful neighborhood to relax and unwind away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Offering a taste of medieval life and nicknamed the best-kept secret in Rhode Island, the island features only one general store and 1 Post Office and is only accessible by ferry. There are a bunch of secluded beaches on the island that guests may have access to, as well as hiking trails. Outdoor enthusiasts also like to bike around Ireland, and it has a lot of untouched forests. The area has the largest population of white-tailed deer, but unfortunately, that also means it has a very high population of ticks. Since the area is only accessible via a ferry, we encourage guests to carry all essentials they might need for their trip. However, we keep some provisions at the house and ensure that it’s always well-stocked.
