Are you weary of the rat race? Then you need a getaway to a cabin in the woods. You need mountain views and outdoor adventures to revive your spirit. Bring your kids, bring your bestie, or just bring your spouse and have some quiet time. Reconnect by the campfire. Unwind in the hot tub. And destress with a good hike in the woods or a climb up Seneca Rocks. The cabin has a full kitchen for those of you who like to cook a big dinner on vacation. Or send us a message and ask about the best local restaurants!

KEY FEATURES:

--WiFi. Smart TV.

stocked with pots and pans, cooking and eating utensils and dishes, oil, salt and pepper, coffee, creamer, sugar, etc. Has both a Keurig and a regular coffee pot (in the cabinet).

master bedroom on the lower level with adjoining full bath
loft above the kitchen/living room with full bathroom at the foot of the steps
towels, washcloths, bedding, pillows, hand soap, toilet paper, and body wash are provided.

-- living room with views of the forest and glimpses of distant mountains through big windows. The cabin has WiFi and a smart TV. Sign into your own account when you get here. Or detox from technology and browse through the outdoor adventure magazines we provide for you.

--outdoors
Unwind in the hot tub while watching the squirrels play. Cook steaks on the park-style charcoal grill (grilling utensils provided) and make s'mores over the campfire. Speaking of which, you can purchase firewood from us on site if you like. Directions will be inside the info book on the table at the cabin.
Oh, and mornings, on the front porch of the cabin, golden sunlight kissing your face while you sip your coffee-- that's what a getaway to the mountains is all about.

Please NOTE: no early check-ins or late check-outs. Check-in is anytime after 4 pm, and check-out is 11:00 am or before. Pets are not allowed at this cabin.

You should bring an AWD in winter months, just in case.

You will have access to the whole cabin, except for a small locked room with cleaning supplies.

We do not live on-site but will occasionally stop by to say hello. If you need anything, do not hesitate to call or message us. We love chatting with our guests, but our level of interaction is up to you. If you wish to meet us in person, just let us know and we will try to make it happen.

Quiet, nature surrounded; two of our other vacation cabins will be your only neighbors within site through the trees.

No public transportation.

The stairs in the cabin are pretty steep and narrow.

Spruce Mountain Cabin

I stayed in Cabin 1 and it was just as described. It was a great location to get to all the hiking spots I had planned. It was very clean. The deck was perfect for morning coffee and evening relaxing. The hot tub was great for after hiking.

Wonderful mountain cabin!

We have come to this cabin many times. It is always very clean and comfortable in a beautiful peaceful setting. One of our favorite places to stay. This cabin has everything you need for a peaceful mountain getaway.

The cabin was beautiful and very clean. The area is gorgeous we rode our motorcycles in the beautiful hills of West Virginia. We highly recommend this cabin!! The owners were very easy to deal with and just all around nice people!! Cant wait to go back and stay again!!!

Wonderful and Peaceful

We come back every fall to this beautiful and well kept cabin. It is clean, comfortable, and the best spot to get to Spruce Knob. Gorgeous sunsets and stargazing. We highly recommend this cabin!!!

Great cabin close to nature

We had a great stay at this Spruce Knobs cabin. The cabin is as pictured, and really clean. Nice with the outdoor jacuzzi, and nice just sitting outside listening to the birds :-) We used it as a base for alle the hikes in the area.

A Great Place for a Mountain Vacation

My family had a wonderful time at the cabin. It was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed a marshmallow roast at the firepit, ate lunch on the backyard picknick table, hiked nearby Seneca Rocks and drove to the top of Spruce Knob. We hope to come back again sometime!

Very Clean and cozy

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights and 3 days. It was a lovely property very calm and cozy. It really does its purpose of getting away from home. The stars were beautiful and the trails were great! We will hopefully be back sometime in the fall to see the fall colors.

Great getaway

We really enjoyed the property. It was clean and quiet and had all we needed. Property managers were very accommodating. We ziplined at NRocks (only a 9 minute drive) and climbed at Seneca Rocks (20 minute drive), so based on what we wanted to do...a great location! We hope to come back someday.

The rental process was hassle-free. Everything was as described in the listing. The hosts prepared a handy notebook that includes tips about nearby attractions, their contact info and checkout instructions. The cabin is lovely and the setting is beautiful. Definitely a 5-star experience for us.

I've stayed Spruce Mountain cabins for many years and ur never fails to meet my expectations. All the comforts of home in the woods, clean and cozy. You can birdwatch from the deck or take a quick trip up the mountain to hike, and sunset from the top of Spruce Knob is a delight!

Beautiful site, and cabin. Everything was in great condition, place was clean, private and everything we expected. It stood as a good base point for traveling to see blackwater falls, Senneca Rocks and Spruce Knob. It is fairly remote which is what we wanted and very private. It turned out to be the perfect place for us. Just be sure to bring everything you think you may need.

Spruce Knob

The property was nice, secluded and possibly the cleanest place we have ever booked. We really enjoyed our stay. We would recommend letting future visitors know there is no tv signal. So they can plan ahead. But very nice property.
