Victoria's Walk - Cape May's Best Oceanfront Condo W/ Pool

Let us share with you why we feel this is Cape May's Best Oceanfront Condo. It's known as 'Victoria's Walk' (you probably know Cape May is Victorian famous) and it's a small (19 units) beautiful community of higher-end condos located at the northern end of Beach Ave. It is across the street from 'Poverty Beach' which is funny as we're surrounded by multi-million dollar homes. It's quiet, it's classy, it's beautiful, and it's steps to the waves. (see the City of Cape May's website for beach info). To top it off, we have, arguably, the best swimming pool in a beautiful setting with a shower house and poolside chaise lounges, tables, and chairs.

The development was built in 1985 and we have totally renovated our 2-bedroom unit. We are proud of our gourmet kitchen with tiled backsplash and under-cabinet lighting, Brazilian Cherry hardwood floors, all new moldings, and doors. We have practically every comfort of home - the only things you'll need to bring are your towels and bed linens. We even have a laundry area with a washer and dryer. It's walking distance to all the great restaurants Cape May has to offer and the quaint shops throughout this seaside resort.

Cape May is a very special place. Our family has been coming to Cape May for over 30 years and it just gets better every year. It's a great place to bring your family, to relax, and enjoy the beach in a higher-end setting with quality and class.

Great property for whole family!

Great location to beach and quiet neighborhood. Unit was very spacious for our family of 5. Pool was excellent for the kids (ages 1-5). We would definitely stay here again!

Annual week

The property is as described. Clean and comfortable. Our family of four enjoyed it greatly. The pool was wonderful (even if we had a chilly mid week stretch) and the beach is conveniently walkable. We rented bikes from one of the local companies and couldn’t keep the kids from riding around the whole island. Would stay again. Cape May is a familiar spot to us but saw new things this visit. Nice to see the town grow but stay the same simultaneously

Perfect beach getaway!

We loved this property. You can’t beat the location, convenient walk to the beach and on the quiet side of town, perfect for relaxing. The place was super clean and comfortable and the host was easy to reach and very nice to work with. We loved having the pool as well and the patio where you can catch a glimpse of the ocean and hear the waves. We can’t wait to go back.

New to Cape May

I would recommend this property for the following reasons. Great location; corner apartment;1 block from the beach; quiet neighborhood; nice pool; nice view; good size TV. The owners were very receptive and nice to deal with. The bathrooms are new and clean. There are rocking chairs on the porch! Be aware that there is a fee to use the beach and they only take cash. This was a surprise to us. We either made simple meals or brought in food because of Covid fears. I wish the owners had at least one large bowl in the kitchen for preparing salads. The knives were not sharp. A few of the dinner dishes were chipped or had cracks in them. The mattresses were OK. We got in after dark and it took a while to find the apartment and the parking space. The owners may want to post a map of the condo and directions to finding the apartment as the entrance is not on Beach Street. I would rent here again.

we enjoyed the apartment. we're familiar with the area and it suited our 3-person family perfectly. owners did a great job with the pre-trip communication, the entrance codes, wifi, tv etc....and the unit itself was clean, bright and had a few modern touches. we used the bar area by the kitchen often, and the deck at night to watch the stars (and a cool storm or two). and the proximity to the beach is pretty much unbeatable overall a great trip.

Great Location...Great Complex

This unit is located is a very convenient property complex in Cape May, just 1 block from the beach, and in a particularly 'uncrowded' part of the city. One great feature was the pool...it was clean, nice, and almost never crowded. Would recommend this unit!

beautiful condo with amazing pool and ocean views! our family just returned and we are looking forward to coming back year after year. Short walk across the street to a very quiet beach. the kids loved biking every morning to get fresh bagels. Very peaceful at night sitting on the deck listening to the waves breaking across the street. Could not have asked for a better week. the owners really make you feel at home. Highly recommended!! So much to do!!

Quiet and Close to the Beach

Nicely appointed condo with a great view of the ocean and pool. The large covered porch is child-friendly. An easy walk to the relatively quiet beach. The pool and surrounding grounds are very well kept. We loved the solitude of the area; at night, you could hear the ocean waves. The condo could have been cleaned a bit better by the cleaning company prior to our arrival, but, all in all, we couldn't have asked for a better condo in Cape May. Highly recommended.

Great condo - Great location

Our family enjoyed our stay very much. The kids loved the pool; the beach right across the street is very quiet and private - but still guarded - very nice. And just a short distance from all the food and fun of the promenade! The condo is very nicely furnished and well-kept. Highly recommended. We recommend the fish tacos at Carneys, a nice morning walk to Coffee Tyme shop for pastry's and coffee, the zoo for kids, climbing the steps to the top of the lighthouse, and Sunset Beach at sunset. So much to do and see and enjoy at Cape May. It is our favorite place and our time spent at Victoria's Walk helped make our stay even better. Highly recommended by our family to yours!

We purchased this unit in 1996 after having rented in Cape May for 10 years. We had rented at Victoria's Walk and it was our favorite place in Cape May. When this unit became available we jumped on it immediately. The location is perfect and with the pool there's not much more you could want.

Sit on the spacious deck overlooking the ocean and watch the dolphins swim by or look for ships on the horizon.
