Great quick one night trip

What a beautiful place to wake up to! It’s literally right on the lake! Small, but just what we needed for a one night stay. Would stay again!

Location was A, however the overall place is very dated. One small pan to cook, along with a lobster pot. Furniture and bedding needs updating, along with interior. It is a great setting with lots of potential.

King Birch Cabin review

It is a basic cabin as are the rooms. Clean and the rental process is seamless. Very nice seating and grill areas. The dock is great, We visited in late September to fish the last few days of the season. Would recommend and will return.

I loved Ray and Sue! They were so personable and sweet! They made me feel right at home. Traveling on your own can be nerve raking, but they took all my worries away! Thank you Ray for your help with my car! If you are looking for a rustic, "camp" like cabin, then this is the one for you! The views were amazing, on the water, with scenic views everywhere you look - even from inside the cabin, which is great when its raining out .. you can still see everything from inside!

Beautiful Vermont trip

This is an older cabin but did not have any bad smells. It was nice to be beside the lake. I would suggest instead of the mirror in the kitchen to add some cabinets up above for more storage for pots/pans and dishes. It needs a spatula and maybe a better no stick skillet. We cook alot on our trips. But beside this was a nice clean place.

Clean & Basic

Needs are covered in this small, clean, and dry space. Mattress is firm. Includes hair dryer though not listed in amenities. Has a few plates, cups, bowls, mugs and flatware. Appliances in working order and ample outlets for charging, etc. View is great, neighbors are quiet, and it’s easy to get to any place on the lake. Would recommend for small, affordable place to stay.

Nice place on the lake

Beautiful place right on the lake. Very basic accommodations, we really only slept there. Perfect for what we needed. I had trouble with the television, couldn’t figure it out. We were trying to watch the Celtics playoff game. Emailed the host I didn’t get a response Until the next day. Ironically, in her email, she said “ Don’t hesitate to reach out “ and she was “available 24/7”. We ended up listening to the game. Other than that, we had a great stay.

Boating and swimming

We stay. In Alton Bay each year for a couple of concerts at Bank of NH Pavilion in Gilford. We extend it by staying for a couple of days at Lake Winnipesaukee The motel is perfectly located close to the venue and on the lake for swimming and boating while visiting BNH Pavilion. The motel is in a pine grove and is lake front. It's "!old school " feel reminds of my childhood. It's clean and quite, but no thrills. Don't expect first class accommodations but if you like the feel of a 60's/70's lakefront motel it's perfect. We had a small issue with our cabin but Vacasa immediately communicated with us while we were hosting on the lake and fixed it before we returned. It was out 4th year in a row staying there and plan to return next year.

Cottage with a View

This one room cottage sits on the lake in Alton Bay. Great views ! The cottage covers all of your basic needs - a clean place with a kitchenette (stove, sink, refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker ) - queen bed, sofa and television. Convenient location to hiking - swimming and boating .

Small, cozy, near water, beautiful view! Bit hilly with a lot of steps. Found great restaurant in town. Overall, quite enjoyable.
