Everything we could have asked for

The condo was nice and clean when we arrived. The beds were comfortable and the view was amazing. We were in town for the Cruiser Weekend and the location was perfect!

Overall okay

This was accomodating for us but very tight. The best thing about this place is the view off the back deck! The beach was within walking distance (about 10 min and having to cross busy street). It is fairly quite (except for neighbors) since it's tucked back some. It rained pretty much the whole time we were there so we spent a lot of time inside. It was quite humid and the ac could not keep up. It was over 74 inside at most times and didn't get cooler. There is no central air and each room has a unit which cuts on and off all day and night which disturbed our sleep. Host communicated minimally about check in. Only 2 beach chairs and beach towels provided (no umbrella). Plenty of towels for the shower, but no wash rags. Kitchen is well stocked with cooking supplies and utensils including a keurig.

Great view of the Bay

Loved sitting out on the porch looking out over the Bay. It was just lovely, and peaceful. The chairs on the porch were super comfortable and perfect for a family of 5. Great place to enjoy your morning coffee or read a book. The walk to the Boardwalk was only about 10 minutes. The Boardwalk was the best ever! Ours at Myrtle does not compare. The host was responsive to our questions. It would have been nice to have written info about the Wifi, garbage removal, and more info about check out procedure. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils. Nice updated appliances. You might want to take along your favorite spices. The condo itself was adequate for our adult family of four. We enjoyed our stay!

Overall was a good trip

We can under the impression there was a boat slip. It is more meant for a jetski which did not fit our boat as mentioned. We had to make our own beds upon arrival, and were asked to clean our sheets at the end of our trip . With doing that we saw the quality of the pillows. There is only one king in the condo, not three . Majority of the guest showered in the master bath because the other one wasn’t draining . We couldn’t get the Wi-Fi to work which wasn’t a too big deal since we weren’t in the room that often . We had to get more toilet paper. Overall it was a good trip and had a nice deck to view the bay .

Expected better

Property location and view were nice. The property amenities fell well short... no trash bags, paper towels, or wash cloths. The 2nd bedroom AC didn't work nor did the kitchen table overhead fan. However, the biggest issue we had was communicating with the owner about TV which didn't work until we discovered a wifi switch that was off. The owner was unresponsive and didn't return our phone call about the problem. We won't be back.

Not going back

The positive was hours sitting on the balcony in comfortable high stools watching boats go by. Great view. Otherwise the condo was pretty basic. Fine for a few nights but not much more. The negatives were the lack of care and communication from the owner when we were locked out upon arrival. The keyless entry malfunctioned. We couldn’t get ahold of him, Vrbo couldn’t get ahold of him. We ended up in a hotel room that night! Finally the housekeeper who had a key met us the next day to get us in. Even then, I had to call Vrbo for a refund on the 1st night - he showed no concern at all. While there, the HOA president came by and asked me a list of questions about our rental and if we had parking permits (we did not). He explained that the building did not allow short-term leases and “owners only” were permitted to park in the lot (even though he was the only other unit there). These units are a dime a dozen at the beach. I would pick a different one - and will next time!

The property was beautiful and at a great location, very quiet. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the boat slip. We booked this site because we wanted to bring our boat. Luckily I had noticed before we left that the slip was too small for our boat. I wish the details would have shared the size of the boat slip beforehand. We still enjoyed sitting out on the porch and watching the boats go by.

Terrible experience and costs was way to high unclean

So when we arrived at 5am the beds were not made and the place was dirty. One of the showers had mold in it the other didn’t drain down so we got to stand in ankle deep water which is great it was filled with pubic hair. So when we had to put the sheets in the dryer we found underwear in the dryer. We also had a small amount of toilet paper (1 roll)for both bathrooms. So when we finally got ready for bed we didn’t have pillows for all the beds. The person we rented from was extremely hard to reach at best. He did send some pillows but it arrived nights later. They’ve claimed to have sent me money back but will not tell me how much but that sometime in the next 15 days I should have the undisclosed amount delivered. This was a terrible experience and only a small review I have videos and pictures of so much stuff that was wrong but the owner doesn’t seem to care I will never stay there again which sucks because we will be going there yearly to Ocean City. Also we had one garbage bag for the entire week.

Wonderful week at the beach

This condo on the bay offers everything you need to enjoy OCM. The area is safe. The unit is clean and very updated compared to similar units in this area. It was an easy walk of only a few blocks to reach the beach. And there was plenty of options for dining out and plenty of utensils for cooking and dining in. Unit could use a hair dryer and maybe some wash cloths. But that didn't impact our 5 star rating. I'm sure we'll be back. Thank you for allowing us to share your home.
