This 3400 square foot, 4 Bedroom/3Bath Retreat, built in 2001, is situated at an elevation of 7,600 feet on 2 1/2 Acres of heavily wooded Ponderosa Pines only 7 minutes drive from downtown Flagstaff. The Home is situated 1 mile from the Snowbowl Ski Resort access road off Hwy 180 (15 minutes to the ski slope). Perfect location for skiers. No busy enter/exit traffic to deal with. The South Rim of the Grand Canyon is only a 70 minute drive north and the Red Rocks of Sedona are 45 minutes to the South. Perfectly situated in the State of Arizona, this retreat provides the best of what Arizona has to offer at an affordable price. Retreat amenities include a Gourmet Kitchen, Breakfast Bar, and Kitchen Nook with 180 degree picture windows for relaxing views of the Great Outdoors. Get cozy in front of a crackling fire in the Family Room while enjoying the company of family and friends.

Ski trip with my husband and (adult) children. This house is spacious and very comfortable. Staircase is custom-made, great design. Rooms are big. Overall very clean and inviting. Amazing outdoor space. Great location for Snowbowl!

The house was a very beautiful one. All amenities were provided as advertised. The location is close to the Arizona Snowbowl even though situated in the woods and a bit secluded. The communication with the host was very good via the Vrbo app. The only concern was the garage not been available as part of the rental .

Best rental ever had

I cannot say enough great things about this rental& shouldnt be surprised with reviews! It truly was the best rental we have EVER stayed in& with traveling soccer we stay alot! Accurate description as pictured, home is very spacious & the most well equipped house that makes traveling much easier with a family. meals i felt at ease knowing i didn't have to go buy everything ! Most places dont alow any food to be left but they even had butter, condiments, spices, some canned goods just made life much easier! Everything to do laundry & hygiene! The backyard was amazing to sit outside drink my morning coffee & relax in evening, my 2yr old loved swing & grass to run! We will absolutely be back for our yearly Flagstaff trip! Ohhh and can i say i absolutely need a Jacuzzi jetted tub cause man that was nice! My only gripe& this is only personal preference is masterbed is pretty firm & If u have a lil 1 theres a gate for bottom of stairs but not top, we just locked bedroom door at night! I thought pictures of family felt a little awkward and a lil different from previous rentals but after seeing the picture book of property being built from ground up by this amazing family it made our stay more magical, all the memories and pride in building their home & to be able to share a part of that was amazing! Thanks again dez we appreciate you sharing your home and story with us ! 10/10 recommend!!! I didnt get pics at property but heres some of trip!

Nostalgia- no strings attached

This is the fourth year we’ve brought the family up from the Phx valley for skiing at Snowbowl. This sweet home is becoming part of our children’s core memories. They love to play snow games in the yard and relax with movies and games. Cook your own food or venture 30 min into town for restaurants. It’s a Quick trip up to the resort and back home when you’re worn out/cold and ready to cuddle up in a blanket. Grateful for the owners letting us create a family tradition without all the responsibility of owning a retreat.

Great place

The overall stay was great. The host was very accommodating and prompt to respond. The place is large and fun. Everyone in my group enjoyed the place. Walks were perfect with gorgeous views. There is no hot tub. It is only a bath tub with jets. I will stay there again!!

Perfect ski cabin

This was the perfect place for our family. We had both sets of parents and our children. There was more than enough space for everyone in the kitchen, the game room was awesome, and the extra living room was nice so those not wanting to watch sports could relax as well! We loved it!

Family snowbowl weekend

Property is as listed. Clean. Spacious - was very comfortable for 2 families. Game room was great for the kids. Excellent location for a Snowbowl trip, we much preferred staying here vs downtown Flagstaff. Would definitely rent again.

Traditions and Memories

I think the thing to convey a recommendation for anyone considering this property is that this is our 3rd winter here and we plan on keeping the tradition. Our kids love playing in the snow in the yard. It’s so quick to get up to Snowbowl resort. The pines all around make it feel so private and secluded. We had plenty of room for meals, board games, movies, pool game.

Wonderful Weekend!

We had the most amazing Thanksgiving weekend staying at Roundtree Retreat! The home was so cozy and inviting that we never left the property. The layout was spacious for our two families of four and the game room was perfect for activities that we could all do together. The back yard area was so beautiful, we were able to take our Christmas card picture with snow as an added bonus. Desi was wonderful to communicate with and prompt with responses. I highly recommend Roundtree Retreat and can’t wait to come back!!

Good time

I loved the layout of the house. Views were great game room was a blast overall had a good time. Except for the rain. The remotes were a little hard to figure out, but did all right.

Absolute Perfection

The property sits on a little slice of heaven amidst a forest of Ponderosa pine trees. It’s beautiful inside and out. The location is perfect for heading north to the Grand Canyon or south to Sedona without too long of a drive to either. The size was great for our adult family of six. We had plenty of space to spread out when needed, and yet perfect gathering rooms when we were all together. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed, including condiments and spices. The beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows and blankets for the cool nights. I can’t say enough good things about this property. We felt right at home, and will recommend it to family and friends heading to Arizona. Thank you, Stelling family for sharing your amazing home with us! We enjoyed every minute!
