The cabin was cute, clean, and we'll equipped. The lake was beautiful and we caught fish. The hosts were great and responsive to any needs we had. We'll definitely be back!

Great little cabin on a beautiful, relaxing lake

Everything was as promised. Very nicely appointed cabin and great access to the lake. Very relaxed vibe. We stayed 2 nights and it was not long enough!

Anniversary weekend

Although it was mostly rainy and cold, we still had a chance to use a boat and get out on the lake one day. The property was as described and clean. Communication with the owner was great. Alexandria is always fun, so despite the weather there was a lot of close local things to take in and stay dry!

We stayed at the “Yellow Cabin”. It was pretty small but ideal for our needs. Had everything available to make food and appeared newly updated. I loved the fact we could use firewood and kayaks without extra cost. Being so close to the lake and enjoying the peacefulness of the water was perfect. The owner was very prompt with all replies and friendly. I would recommend this spot to my friends and family.

Great 4th of July Stay on the Lake

We enjoyed our stay a great deal! The owner and property manager went above and beyond to meet and exceed our needs. We would recommend this to others! The loading dock for the boat is small, however, there’s a public ramp just a few miles down the road. It was so nice to have our boat right at our cabin, on the provided dock. One of the reasons we chose this location. A quite, relaxing, get away.

Cabin was perfect for what we needed it for and it was nice to be able to use their kayaks and life jackets for free. Our door to the cabin wouldn't lock from the outside, so we had to leave it unlocked when we went somewhere. It locked from the inside though. We were bummed that we didn't have our own fire pit and had to share with multiple other cabins. The resort did provide fire wood though. The swimming beach area was very small and didn't directly go into the water like I thought it would based on the description of the property.

Shore line is full of weeds and not much of a beach. But property owner said they are working on lots of updates so I’m sure there are good things to come for this place.

Nice getaway

Was very impressed with them. How clean and how updated the cabin was. Also they had so much for people to do kids to do. They had a nice play area for the kids. They had paddle boats, canoes kayaks all to use that cost Nothing more. The owners very very nice. Very friendly. Very helpful. Very informative. I would definitely stay there again.

Short fishing trip

I stayed for 2 nights , a little get away to fish a couple of days. The small cabin was perfect for 1 or 2 people. The inside of the cabin had been remodeled and nicely done. There was a large porch on the entrance with table and chairs. Provided a great space to store stuff. It had a split ac system which worked well. The dock worked well to tie up my boat and had electricity available. Overall a great stay. Talked with both the maintenance guy and the owner. , good communications.

Lovely cabin, exactly as pictured.

My family stayed at the Yellow Cabin on Lake Victoria for three days. It was exactly as pictured in the listing, which as a guest is important to me. The owner was very attentive. All of our basic needs were covered, and we were just steps from the lake. The only thing to be aware of is if you are planning on having someone sleep on the futon on the sun porch is that part of the cabin is not air conditioned. There is a charcoal grill outside of the cabin, so bring some groceries if you are in a grilling mood. All in all it is a nice place to stay if you enjoy a vacation on the lake.
