Cabin Retreat on White Potato Lake

Walking distance to a private community small sandy beach area. Manufactured home located right off of White Potato Lake. Located within a small seasonal campground, quiet during the week and a bit busier on the weekends in summer. It is isolated from the hustle and bustle of the lake and campground. Full service lake that is great for kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, skiing, wakeboarding, tubing and great fishing. Cabin is very close to the boat launch (boat landing 1). Snowmobile trail is just across the lake which you can take the boat landing to get to. Take the road to the UTV trails directly from driveway. Ample parking for toys. Spacious living room, full kitchen (equip with all your cooking needs), large dining space, 3 bedrooms, full bathroom and bonus room with pull out couch and laundry. Sheets, pillows, pillow cases and comforters provided for queen beds only (4), not pull out.
Kitchen has all essentials drip coffee pot, crockpot, pots, pans, plates, bowls, cups and utensils.

*No bath or beach towels provided.*
No local garbage pick up, you will need to take to the local recycling center or take with you when you leave.

Clean and comfortable

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house was comfortable and had many amenities of home. It was quite clean as well. It was a great jumping off spot for our day adventures in the local area.

Guy fishing trip

There was 4 men on the trip. My brother, my brother in law, my son and myself. We plan a guy fishing weekend every year for the past 4-5 years. This years has been about the best so far. We hope we have finally found the place we would like to visit annually. The fishing was pretty good and we really enjoyed our time at the cabin.

Property had a nice porch we used daily, the kitchen is small for a large group with children (bottle washing/sippy cups ect.) but it worked! Just something to note for future guests with kiddos. Room in the back off the laundry room was hard to keep cold- the other rooms seemed fine. The cabin is in a nice spot- right near the boat launch, and sandy play/beach area. The neighbors were so friendly! Felt like a little family there.

Thanksgiving Stay

The property was just what we needed for our visit with family nearby. Not sure how we missed that bath towels were not provided, but we had family who helped us out. Other than that, the stay was great. We would stay again! Thanks!

Ice Fishing weekend

A nice place to stay across the street from the lake. Comfortable place to stay for a guys weekend with the boys fishing.

I've struggled on how to review this stay. Mostly we want the next renters to have better info than we had. 1. Arrived at property in the evening only to walk in and immediately find a dead mouse in the laundry room. Other mouse "evidence" found during our stay. Thankfully the kids did not see it or we would have had to stay elsewhere. 2. One bedroom had no AC vent...very warm. We chose not to use that room.3. There was NOWHERE to unpack. No closets, drawers or shelves in any of the bedrooms. Had to leave our belongings on the floor. Given the mouse issue...hardly ideal.4. Description states "newly remodeled"...see pics for what you'll see.5. Furniture was dirty and worn.6. "Beach" area was just a very small patch of sand. However, beds were clean and comfortable, AC, shower and appliances all worked well.

A Great Quite Family Get Away

This is perfect if you are the kind of person or family that like quite and is a social person. The owner was really nice and the people around the area were nice. The place itself was super clean, pretty roomy, we all had a place to sit when it came to dinner and also watching movies. We would go back again, my husband and I really enjoyed ourselves and so did our kids and that does not happen all the time.

Quiet and Cozy retreat

Working out of town for ten days and chose this rental for the price and location. Great Bar and Grill just down the road (we did not cook much) and the fishing was an added bonus after work.
