This stunning & unique 3 bed / 2 bath unit is brand spanking new, along with all of the furnishings. It includes 1 King, 1 Double, & 1 Twin size private bedrooms. The unit is extremely clean and remarkably decorated. Only a 5 minute walk to Ashmont station (red line), which takes you directly to Downtown Boston, Harvard Square, South Boston, Kendall/MIT, U Mass. There are two great restaurants nearby - Molinari’s and Tavolo Ristorante, as well as a local coffee shop + a Dunkin just across the T Station.

The Space:

This historical property was built in 1894. It is located in Ashmont Hill, which is an area within Boston's Dorchester neighborhood that is known for their beautiful Victorian homes & its diverse and eclectic neighborhood.

The house is located only about a five minute walk from Ashmont metro station, which is the first or last station on the red line. Extremely convenient.

The Ashmont Suite is Unit 2 (2nd & 3rd Floor) of this Victorian two family home to which we have converted into a unique Guest House and Outdoor Living Space that is open year round, with the exception of The Office, which is closed during the winter months.

***IF YOU ARE PLANNING OR LOOKING FOR A SPACE TO HOST A PARTY/EVENT/FRIENDS, OR TO BE IN A SPACE TO BE LOUD, THIS IS NOT THE SPACE FOR YOU.

Guest Access:

The Ashmont Suite is a 3 bedroom / 2 bathroom condominium. One bedroom (The Antler Room) has a twin size bed. The second (The Buddha Room) has a double size bed. And the third (The Master Room) has a king size bed. The Buddha and Master Bedrooms are located on the 3rd floor, and share the 3rd floor bathroom. While the Antler Room is located on the 2nd floor, and has its own bathroom adjacent to the bedroom.

The condo includes an open living room/dining and kitchen. Long term guests (7+ days or more) may also have access to the in-unit washer and dryer, if needed. Please kindly reach out to your host if you need to use the washer and dryer.

Everything is brand-new, modern and very comfortable.

This was a great home to stay in. Eddie was responsive and on top of messaging ahead of time. My girls and nephew loved it. Close to everything in Boston. Safe, spacious and comfortable. Kitchens was well equipped and having two bathrooms was idealWould definitely stay here again

What a beautiful property, so lovely, perfect location and had everything we needed. So many positives; comfortable beds, really roomy space so lots of ability to move around and store items, parking directly outside for free, our own entrance and amazing kitchen facilities. Was great to be able to wash clothes too. Location wise it is an 8-10 min walk to the metro station then a quick and easy ride into Boston. This was perfect for us and our day of sightseeing.Eddie was really helpful and communicative and couldn’t fault his hosting at all.100% perfect stay would definitely recommend.

Our stay in the Ashmont Suite was wonderful. While the home is an 1890's Victorian, the interior is new, and the classic character of the home shines through. The is a 5 minute walk to the Ashmont MBTA subway station. And surface transportation is about 4 houses away. Eddie's pride of ownership is obvious. He maintains the home very well. Kudos to Eddie for his rapid responses to my inquiries. If we return to Boston we would be pleased to stay here again.

Communication with the owner was great. Property was immaculate. Had a great time getting to know the other guests on other floors and an even better time exploring the neighborhood. Not that far from the Red Line so getting in and out was easy. We’d stay here again for sure.

Great house, perfect for our family of 5. Pretty far from Boston and weekend train service was spotty so spent quite a bit on Uber but other than that, a fantastic stay!

Wonderful stay! There was plenty of room for us to spread out. Great amenities. We used the subway daily with no problems to get to all of the Boston sights. Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful property - lots of space indoors and outdoors. Outside space is shared with others in this big house, but that wasn’t a problem for us. The Office/shed is only open when the owners let you in to serve welcome drinks. The neighborhood is a bit rough around the edges. Not very many walkable conveniences. Two subway stations are walkable though on the Red line.

Lovely property

This was the first of 2 stays over a 3 week holiday. The apartment was lovely, spotlessly clean and well fitted out. Eddie was always prompt and helpful with the couple of queries we had. No complaints at all.

Excellent Property - AND Host!

I use VRBO alot but this trip was thrown together at the last minute to get up to Boston for an important conference and it started with having booking problems with VRBO's software. The host Eddie, graciously helped me navigate the whole situation along with numerous logistics during the trip. Hands down one of the best hosts I have ever had! The property was amazing, great location, great outdoor spaces (very important in Boston where land is a premium) and many ammenities. I would consider trying to get it again next year too if Eddie would have us! Thank you again Eddie :)

The Ashmont Suite was accurately described. It was in a quiet older neighborhood. The home was clean, well appointed and truly had every thing we needed. Communication from the owner was timely and clear. We stayed as a family as our son was running the Boston Marathon. The property was about a 20 minute Uber to the airport and downtown area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely recommend it to others.

Nice upmarket suite!

The suite is in a beautifully restored old home with two other suites. Ours was in the top section of the home which required moving suitcases up quite a few steps. Parking is on a busy road and there is only enough space for two cars in front of the house, which might require carrying lugguage a bit further. Other than that it was a really nice place to stay.

Excellent!!!!! Highly recommend! I am from Massachusetts and hosted an out of town friend here. I had to work and she had to WFH, and wanted to be able to explore and walk to Dunks lol… she got the local experience in a hidden gem of Dorchester!

This was a beautiful property inside and out. We didn’t get in until later so we really didn’t get to stay long. But it was perfectly decorated inside. The bedroom I stayed in was filled with budda decor and books. Being a Christian I want thrilled with that. But it was all good!! There are also quite a few stairs to climb if that’s an issue for you. Eddie was my contact and he was great to work with. Would stay again, only longer next time.

Beautiful unit

The hosts have thought of everything in this beautiful apartment. The beds were so comfy, and we found parking just outside the house on the street. Loved it and would stay again.

Great Victorian in Boston

We really enjoyed our stay at the Ashmont Suite. The interior decor is very pleasing. Beautiful kitchen and bathrooms. Beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the back yard space as well. The location is 30-35 minutes to the core of Boston by car. The metro is close but we were warned by locals about the area. We opted to Uber and never had a problem. The hosts were super helpful and very quick to reply to any messages. Highly recommend this property.

My family and I truly enjoyed our stay at the Ashmont suite, the house was clean and beautiful just as shown in the pictures. Eddie was really helpful and answered all our questions. I really recommend this host for anyone looking for a place to stay while visiting Boston.

Hi There!

We're Eddie and Elizabeth ! A young and fun loving couple currently living and working in the great City of Boston.

However, we're both originally from Texas. But met and got married in China just before repatriating back to the U.S. in 2016. We both absolutely love to eat, drink, host, mingle, and travel. We are always thinking, planning or dreaming of new adventures close and afar. And anywhere we travel, we usually seek the latest culinary experience, or are in search for that perfect cocktail anywhere we go.

And right behind traveling, we both absolutely love to host! We believe that hospitality is really an acquired art form for making others feel welcome, comfortable, and at home. We believe that it is the talent for spreading warmth and kindness that will be remembered always!

We both lived abroad for a great part of our lives. Elizabeth spent time in Africa and went to school in France before moving to Asia. I, on the other hand - spent time in Europe before moving to Beijing in 2000, right after graduating from college.

Our paths crossed in China in 2010, and in 2015 we tied the knot in Shanghai. Shortly thereafter, In 2016, we repatriate back to the US - and now call Boston home.

We both had great experiences traveling in Asia, and we felt compelled to return back to the Americas and try to replicate the same adventures here at home. We are now both very happy to be back in the US - and even more so when we have the opportunity to live in this great city.

The Ashmont Suite is a gem. The unit is a very unique property with a three bedroom apartment. The apartment has one with a queen size bed (The Map Room) and its own ensuite bathroom. The other bedroom (The Elephant Room), comes with a full size bed and its own ensuite bathroom as well. Below the apartment you have The Boiler Room, which has its own private entrance, along with a Queen size bed, its own bathroom, and even has its own kitchenette! The apartment includes an open living room and kitchen. Long term guests (7+ days or more) also have access to the washer and dryer, if needed. Please kindly ask your host re. which washer and dryer to use, as there are two sets on the property.

Everything is brand-new, modern and very comfortable.
