Parking & Transportation:
- Parking: There is parking for 1 vehicle in the driveway. Note: The garage is reserved for the golf cart and bikes, thus will not be able to accommodate a vehicle. Please plan accordingly as there is no street parking or overflowing parking in Prominence North.
- Bicycles: Enjoy 3 adult bikes to explore 30A in style (Amenity Fee applies at Checkout).
- Golf Cart: 6-Seater Golf Cart provided with each reservation (Fee applies at Checkout).

*Note: Pool access, availability, and heating are subject to change at the discretion of the HOA. BeachWalk is not responsible for any modifications.
Beach Accesses: There are several convenient beach accesses*! Below are 3 of the most popular accesses:
- Gulf Lakes Beach Access: The Gulf Lakes access is a Walton County beach access located about 1 mile to the East of Prominence.
- Deer Lake State Park: Deer Lake is located 0.5 miles West of Prominence. This access has a small parking area at the access (~$3-$5 for parking) and bathrooms, but the walk from the parking area to the beach is a bit longer than most area accesses. IMPORTANT - Because this is a state park, and not a Walton County beach access, alcohol is not allowed & beach service is not available at this location.
- Santa Clara: Santa Clara access is a Walton County, ADA approved, beach access located near Bramble Grove Road, about 3.5 miles to the west of Prominence. Parking and bathrooms are also available at this access.
*Note: Prominence homes access the beach via South Walton public beach access points. Most guests typically use the Deer Lake State Park beach access or other nearby public access points. Prominence homes do not offer direct beach access through the Watersound Club, nor do they provide access to the private Watersound Club facilities.
Parking in Prominence (North and South):
- North Prominence Triplex (A, B, C) Unit Parking: Parking is only allowed in the garage (if available) and/or the driveway of the unit being rented. Parking in unassigned driveways is prohibited and may result in towing or fines. No street parking or overflow parking is permitted in Prominence North. Additional parking is available at The Big Chill (formerly The Hub).
- South Prominence Parking: Parking is available in the driveway or garage of the home (if available). Street parking is allowed, but additional parking in the gravel spots on Pleasant and Clipper streets is first-come, first-served.
Pool Parking: No overnight parking is allowed at the pool area.
Trailer/Boat Parking: There is no trailer parking available.
Golf Cart/LSV (Low-Speed Vehicle) Rentals in Prominence: If your property does not come with a golf cart, you are only permitted to rent one through 30A Gulf Carts. Prominence strictly allows the rental of street-legal golf carts for guest use through this provider only. Questions regarding this policy should be directed to the Prominence HOA.
Nearby Restaurants: Nearby restaurants to The Town of Prominence 30A include The Big Chill (formerly The Hub) which offers several restaurants including - Red's Chicken Shack, Crave Roadside Burgers, Mile Marker 15, Local Smoke, American Drinking Post, Mr. Freeze, Food Trucks, and more!
Nearby Grocery Shopping: Publix at Watersound Origins, located on US 98 at North Watersound Parkway, approximately 3 miles away. Publix in Watercolor Crossing, located on South County Hwy 395, approximately 5 miles away.

Great location
Beautiful place, decorated nicely and great location! Only negative was the camera on the patio, it made it feel a bit intrusive privacy wise. But other than that it is a great place!

Disappointed
Several issues with the house, and poor communication on management. Refrigerator did not work upon arrival and took a couple of days for management to have a very small refrigerator brought to us ( it was pointless to have a kitchen) and no ice for the week. During one of the conversations about the fridge not working management asked us to flip the breaker so when none of the outlets in the bathrooms or kitchen worked we had to flip the breakers every time we needed to use them. Since i had to reach out to management every time to find out something with the fridge i so no need in reporting the other issues we had. Due to the fridge being bad we lost all of our groceries and forced us to eat out every meal. We have vacationed in the area for the last 7 or 8 years and this the first bad experience.

Improper property description
My wife and family booked this property for 1 week. After covering the details with the property manager we booked for our family vacation. After arrival we noticed the property did NOT have a golf cart which showed that EVERYONE that booked would have a 6 passenger golf cart and 3 bikes. It had the bikes but NOT a 6 seater golf cart. Called agent again and she stated that she can give $25 back for each day of stay. Called golf cart rental and it was $150 a day for rental?!?!?? WOW $125 did not even cover 1 day of rental. Also, the A/C did not function and after repair man came around midnight to “fix” it did start to cools down by next morning. System had a leak and the repair man said he filled it up with 5 lbs of Freon and not to run the system to much or it would freeze. Last day of rental, Friday, they came to try and find leak in the system. Not sure if it was ever fixed.
The property itself is nice and clean. Just wished we would not have had the AC issues in August! And also the golf cart issues after much communication with Natali at the leasing office.

Rocky start but okay stay
As the title indicates our check-in was not as expected. We arrived a little earlier (1 pm) than check in at 4 pm so I asked if there was any way to check in earlier. They stated that there was absolutely no way because it was peak season and they wanted to get the home as perfect for us as they could. This is understandable. We had to hang out around one of the property's restaurants until 4 pm which we then excitedly got our check-in code. We walked into the home and the cleaning crew had not been there to clean from the last guests. Very bad start to our stay after waiting for 3 hours in order for the house to get "cleaned". I messaged them and they managed to get a cleaning crew out there after a couple hours and it was just a little awkward hanging out while they cleaned. The home was cleaned and everything was fine after that. The property is nice and up-to-date. Came with a gas-powered golf cart. It was not fast enough for our family to feel safe driving down 30a, getting passed by other carts as well but what can you expect since it was included in the price. We ended up renting a vehicle to get to and from the beach. Prominence does not have direct beach access so plan on driving AND finding parking at the nearest beach access. The restaurants in the hood are good but most are outside and only one small area is inside. Overall a good place to stay.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review. Our check-in time is 4pm, however we do send the codes out at 3:45pm on the day of check in and allow a 15min early check in as courtesy. During peak season (Mar-Aug), we are unable to approve any early check-in requests. Our housekeepers & inspectors have a heavy load during the spring/summer months. We do apologize for the home not being ready at check-in. In regards to the golf cart, the state requires all street legal golf carts to be regulated at 20 miles per hour as this is a safety concern and the law.
Spring and Summer is a busy time on 30A and a popular tourist destination. Everyone loves the emerald green waters and white sugar sand beaches! We do hope to host you again in the future at "30A Seascape". Thank you for choosing BeachWalk Vacations! Have a great day!

5 cameras made us uncomfortable.
Are location was changed last minute due to the Golf Cart not running. The condo had 5 cameras with door cam. I get you need security but this was to much for us.
One cam on the porch could see in the kids room if the blinds are open. Very uncomfortable stay to say the least. We will not be back.
The cart was also backfiring very bad and had 1/4 tank of fuel. We drove it once after filling it up and left it alone.
It backfire in in downtown and scared everyone, so embarrassing to everyone.
We have stayed at this location area many different times over the years never feeling uncomfortable.
Book somewhere else.
