We loved our visit at the cottage. The view was amazing and the grandchildren loved playing near the river. I am generally an ocean girl, but the water lapping the shore was perfect. We will be visiting again.

This is a beautifully appointed and clean cottage. Matt and Susan have put a lot of thought into what a vacation home should be. Everything you could possibly need is provided. The kitchen is so well organized and easy for cooking meals. It's a 10/10 for a relaxing getaway.

Had all the comforts from home. Very spacious. Very clean. Quiet, even with all the homes being close together. The screened in porch was great to sit on at night and having the river in the backyard was a wonderful view. Great sunsets! Great fishing! Had games to play with the grandkids. It was a great experience! Great place!

Great stay at the river cottage

This is the perfect place for us near New Bern, NC. The river view is great, and the sunsets are unbelievable. Nice cottage and a quiet area.

We travelled here for a week as a family with several younger children and really enjoyed our stay! The house had plenty of space for us, had a wonderful kitchen, and we also enjoyed the access to the river right at the back yard. It made for very relaxing afternoons, and the perfect place to watch the sunset at the end of the day.

Great riverfront cottage with a nice view of New Bern! Very clean and stocked with everything we needed and then some! Very convenient, short drive over to New Bern. Thanks for hosting us, we had a great time and definitely would love to return!

Great Stay

This was our second stay here and it was every bit as good as the first. Great location right on the water and close to downtown New Bern, clean as a whistle, quiet and well equipped. We'll be back next year!

Weekend Getaway in Newbern

Property offered everything we were looking for. A place to call home for the weekend, directly on the water and close enough to the city with plenty of shopping and great places to eat.

Birthday trip

Loved staying in the river. Watching the river flow by was very relaxing. Did travel to the area beaches. Did find a few great restaurants with great food and drinks. Plan on coming back!

Our family enjoyed our visit to Bridgeton and surrounding areas. The check in process was painless. Everything was just as shown in the photos. The home was beautiful and enjoyed the dock for fishing and relaxing. Would love to revisit.

This has been one of the best vrbo’s that I have stayed. The home was exceptionally clean and anything you would need is there. The views are exceptional and the screened in porch and sunroom were fantastic. I look forward to another relaxing trip in the future. I had one small question and Susan replied very quickly. The pictures on website are completely accurate.

Family Trip

Everything about this property was beautiful, cozy and very clean. The owner was very kind and responsive to messages, even suggesting attractions in the area to visit. Would give this property and owner 10 stars if I could. We would definitely love to visit again!!

Fun for all ages!

We had a great weekend! Views were amazing. We visited Aurora and looked for sharks teeth then did a little fishing from the dock.
