You won't want to leave!

The good stuff:
Blue Iguana is named after the iguanas often seen going from backyard to backyard along the canal (don’t worry, they are much more scared of you!) This property was designed with vacation in mind. You’ll enjoy waking up and laying down to get morning sunlight on the beautiful canal. Brew a cup of coffee and relax with a book under the shade on the outdoor sectional. Take a mid-day nap in the custom outdoor hammock. Head to Lauderdale-by-the-Sea beach with the provided umbrellas, boogie boards and 8 beach chairs. Come back and enjoy the space with friends and family: play cornhole and grill up an awesome dinner and eat at the outdoor dining table outside by the pool, by the canal. In the evenings, enjoy a cigar or hangout in the automatic spa that overflows into the pool.

Got enough sun? Kick up the AC and take your pick of 185+ cable channels under a cozy blanket. On the inside of the home, your whole group can spread out and relax. Play some music on the TVs and play a game of pool on the brand new table.

The master bedroom has a fantastic view of the pool for you to wake up to each morning. New King bed, smart TV, walk-in closet and private bathroom with a beautiful shower.

The second bedroom also has a large TV, new King sized bed and closet. When you walk in, there is a computer desk and chair so you can have some privacy while working “from home”. In between the Master and second bedroom is the shared full bathroom with tub/shower.

The third bedroom is also directly off of the pool and has a new Queen sized bed with a closet.

The kitchen has beautiful granite is completely stocked for cooking/baking and fully ready for your favorite coffee: Keurig, french press, and a regular coffee maker. Sit at the beautiful granite bar while watching the game on the TV above the pool table, or make lunch for the family.

This home truly holds a special place in our hearts.

Relaxing getaway

Very clean and spacious modern house with a nice quiet relaxing backyard with great pool & spa on the canal. Close to beaches, cities, restaurants, shopping and more. Fun pool table too. Would definitely stay here again.

Family vacation

Beautiful contemporary home

This is a beautiful contemporary home that was perfect for our family. The photos reflect the beauty and great layout of the property. The pool area was an oasis, great for hanging out and getting some sun. We even saw a manatee swim by while enjoying our morning coffee. Highly recommended for family looking to create memories together.

Awesome house

Rented the house for a girl’s trip and it was exactly as described in the listing. Beautiful home with a gorgeous backyard. I am super picky with mattresses and this was one of the comfiest beds I’ve ever slept on. Highly recommend!

Great experience

Our experience at this home was great. Beautiful water view, heated pool/spa, and excellent location. The host was very accommodating, and they made sure everything went smoothly for us. The house has a tablet that is very helpful, which gave recommendations to restaurants around town, reminders about the house, etc. Overall, it was a very relaxing stay, and we had a great time with our family staying at this home.

An amazing property

We booked this property for 4 nights pre cruise from Miami. The property is an a very nice area, on the water and in a quiet residential area. Lots of amenities close by and easy access to FL and Miami. I would thoroughly recommend and if we are in the area again we will be sure to book. If you are fortunate you will also get to see the amazing iguanas. Three of them put on quite a show one afternoon for us!

Great Property

We had a fantastic time at this property! It is just as the pictures show - clean, beautiful, and absolutely peaceful! It is a very quiet neighborhood. Owner was very responsive with any questions. We chose this house because we love to fish - we figured out the fishing at the end of the trip. Hint - use live shrimp for bait and you will catch 'em! Had a great time!

Lovely quiet home

We enjoyed our stay at the blue iguana. The owner was very responsive to any communication (within about 10-20 mins). The home was clean and the neighborhood quiet. The beds were all very comfortable. The location is about 15-20 mins away from the beaches. My family enjoyed the outdoor pool as well as the indoor pool table. I would recommend this property if staying in the Ft. Lauderdale area.

A colleague and I were in Ft Lauderdale for a work project and The Blue Iguana was a perfect home base for our stay. While there were only two of us, there were three bedrooms so at least six people could stay there comfortably. The house was appointed with everything we needed and was in a good location for our needs. We loved sitting by the pool and watching the birds and igaunas hanging out on the dock next to the canal! Inside, the pool table was a fun addition and the host provided plenty of towels and beach chairs for guest usage. The kitchen was well appointed and a washer and dryer is conveniently located in an adjacent room.The neighborhood is quiet and we felt safe and secure while the host was always responsive. We would definitely stay there again

Private Oasis

House was perfect for our party of five. Location on canal was great for fishing and pool and spa did not disappoint. House was impeccably clean which is always priority on my list. Host was very responsive and attentive to our needs. Will definitely come back again in the future!

Great house

Family of 5 (all adults, two couples and a solo) in town for family wedding. This house was perfect! Conveniently located, professionally managed property. Clean, full amenities and the pool/lounge chairs with the view of the peaceful canal made the house amazing. Would recommend both this property and I would seek options managed by the same owners.

Our shelter from hurricane Ian

We stayed here during hurricane Ian and everything was great! Internet is fast, pool table is lots of fun, and pool/hot tub with beautiful view took our minds off of the hurricane hitting back home. Beds were all so comfortable! The host was great and always available.

Jason responded quick and the home is beautifully put together. Everything you need is there, pool is warm and peaceful. Little to no noise very calm and relaxing place. Rooms are extremely roomy

House is exactly as pictured, very beautiful!! Loved the pool! Master bedroom was a little tight but it still worked for us. Master bathroom is also tight and make sure to put throw rug down because floor is pretty slipper when coming out. Spent plenty of nights at the pool table or lounging by the pool. Tablet gave a lot of great info and suggestions of things to do. Contact was very easy. As the owner states, “neighborhood is very quiet”. Bath Towels are limited. I have been at other places and they state “pool towels are strictly for the pool”. But when I contacted host he stated “to just use the pool towels, it was ok”. Plenty of silverware and cookware.
