This is a large two bedroom, two bath unit with a north view on the 5th floor. Amenities include three HD TVs, Wi-Fi, kitchen, and valet parking.

The property has four pools, restaurants, beach access with lounge chairs and umbrellas. [Unregistered guests can use one pool and beach chairs].

Access to the spa, gym, and fitness classes requires registration and payment of resort fees to The Carillon Hotel. The resort fees are $147.85 for the first adult and $87.85 for each additional adult per day. The registration form must be submitted ten days in advance of arrival.

The location of this property is basically perfect. The valet was easy and having Publix across the street made our stay even better. Henry was very communicative and easy to get in touch with with any questions I had. We’d love to come stay again!

Family Beach Weekend

Loved the resort and location. Room was as advertised and we had plenty of space. Right across the street from Publix was nice too! Would definitely stay here again!

Quick R&R on Miami Beach

The apartment was very clean and right on the beach. The owner was very responsive with any questions we had. Perfect location with publix right across the street. The hotel restaurant was a bit pricy for what it was so I would recommend eating elsewhere.

Girls Spa Getaway

This 2 bedroom condo was a great fit for 3 adults for the weekend. We utilized the spa onsite, pool, and bikes. Great location and the onsite restaurant/coffee shop were convenient and had delicious offerings. The condo itself was spacious, with plenty of bathroom space for everyone to get ready and comfortable beds. The owner was communicative, but not onsite and able to problem solve. We experienced difficulties with checking in/cleaning and conditions of the condo (the condo had not been cleaned), so he provided another space for the first evening. We also only had one key card for the majority of our stay which was problematic because it was needed to use the elevators. We did not hear from the owner on the 2nd day, and were still in the temporary condo so we called at 2 pm and he said someone would be cleaning the one we had paid for. We had to meet the cleaning person to provide them with a key to the condo and wait 3 hours for it to be cleaned. We finally were able to check into the room at 5:30 on the 2nd day of our trip. Once in, 2 fire alarms were beeping and there was a dirty dish under the coffee table and there were dirty sheets on the pull out. We contacted the owner who instructed us to remove the batteries. We did, but they were wired in, so we had to reach out to him again. As we left for dinner we had to leave the key at the desk for the cleaning person to come fix it. We thought they would put in new batteries, but we came back to the fire alarms removed from the wall. We were also told that we would have 3 keys at the desk after dinner and we did not. The following day we were told all three keys would be there and when we went there was one. The need to constantly be contacting the owner and having to be a part of solving problems was not what we signed up for when we sought out a spa getaway. The owner offered for us to stay another free night, but we had flights out of town and work to return to. We asked if we could have our money back for the first night and the owner responded that he would "think about it". Close to midnight on the last night he said he would give us back our money from the first night. We appreciated this but did not appreciate how much we had to be inconvenienced throughout our stay. I would highly recommend this building, the condo itself, and the amenities of the Carillon Spa, but the owner is not onsite and not able to help remedy problems in a timely manner.

Incredible host and impeccable location

The property is amazing and our host was welcoming and very communicative. The property is large, gorgeous, relaxing, and clean. The staff at the property work tirelessly to keep the guests happy and the atmosphere pleasant. An added bonus was the supermarket right across the street which was so convenient!!

Do not pass this up

THIS PLACE WAS PERFECT! - on the water with free beach chairs/towel service included at the Carillon - Publix across the street - Bars, ice cream, coffee shops, taverns, all within walking distance - A valet parking spot included - A little coffee cafe within the Carillion - The room is beautiful! A king bed with a HUGE bathroom and queen bedroom with a decent bathroom. - A kitchen with a coffee maker, stove, microwave, and mini fridges . *however, take note that there are 2 mini fridges and not a full size fridge so you will have limited space and a very tiny “freezer”* - Henry was an AMAZING communicator and was thorough with his check in and a text away if I had questions - DO NOT PASS THIS UP! We loved staying here and thought the price was worth it for that resort-like feeling

North Miami Beach

The property has a very convenient location as it is across the street from a grocery store and is right on the beach. The neighborhood is OK, but nothing special. The surrounding restaurants and businesses are a bit dated and rundown in some cases; however, the resort grounds are nice. The interior was fairly clean but somewhat outdated. We had issues with one of the toilets not working properly and the sink not draining. Both of these issues were in the master bathroom. The host was prompt to get someone to check it out, but it wasn't fully fixed during our stay. Free valet parking is the only parking option. One of the odd things about this place is that it is a privately-owned unit within a hotel called the Carillon Miami Wellness Resort. Despite staying in the hotel, it does feel as if you are really not a guest at the hotel. The staff all know who is/is not staying in hotel units vs. private units, so this was a bit odd. The main way that they can tell is at private units receive a red door access card, whereas hotel units receive a wristband. If you want to purchase a wristband--which gets you access to the gym, pool, and beach--you need to pay a very expensive daily fee. That said, you can "sneak" around the resort with your red door cards to get into the pool and beach area, however, we were informed not to let any of the staff see our red door cards. For the price per night at which this property is charging, I really did not expect to have to deal with this "nuance" at all. Furthermore, you might as well just book a room through the hotel directly and not have to deal with any of this inconvenience, especially during a vacation. The host was nice and prompt with our issues, but I am not certain that I would stay here again.

College graduation

This was my first experience with reserving through VRBO so was a little nervous but everything ran smoothly. We stayed here for our daughter’s college graduation and were pleasantly surprised! Spacious and very clean accommodations. Owner was a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend this property!

Wonderful Experience

Overall, the experience was a 10 out of 10. Although our stay was cut short by the recent coronavirus pandemic Henry was an absolute pleasure to deal with from start to finish. He was extremely responsive at all times and catered to our every need. The unit itself is exactly as advertised. It has a very large master bathroom and is spacious throughout. It is well-kept and clean. This is a great place to stay for a family over a vacation for a vacation. Would definitely stay here again.
