Home with open floor plan and room for 6. Extra bathroom makes it easy for all guests. Each room has access to 40 foot screened in porch via sliding glass doors. There is also a fenced in play yard for your furry family members. Minutes from historic downtown or Lake Chatuge for those needing lake time. The house is 10 miles from Murphy and 15 miles from the casino for those who want to try their luck. Easy access to Franklin NC , Helen Ga, Hiawassee and Blairesville. My personal favorite is setting by the creek around the stone fire pit.

The house was great,comfortable and clean. The only bad thing was the weather. It rained for 4 days and it was chilly. We didnā€™t get to enjoy sitting by the creek and roasting marshmallows like we did last year. Plus we all caught a cold from unpacking in the rain. But that had nothing to do with the home, we just stayed inside played games, watched movies and eat! We would love to come back again and highly recommend the place.

Loved the creek. House has a nice layout and is in a valley with nice view of mountain range in front. View across creek is limited, but probably much better after leaves fall. Fenced area for dogs is very helpful keeping pets secure and safe. The grill is in the fenced area allowing pet to be near when cooking which is a plus for older dogs. Access to property and check in/out procedure is very easy. Upon arrival, creek was very high and running swiftly due to recent rain, but 2 days later it was lower and much slower. Distance to town is a short trip, but house is out in the country.There is an open market down the road just before you get to town that has awesome veggies and fruits.Thank you, Sandy, for sharing, we enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful cabin on the creek

This is one of the best pet friendly cabins weā€™ve ever stayed at. The creek and fire out just next to it are beautiful and an amazing thing to wake up and wind down to. Our son (8yo) had a blast playing in the creek with our dogs. Thereā€™s a fenced in run for the dogs so they can do their business and we can clean up after them. Thereā€™s a large screened in porch. The location is dead center of many cities and very good for anything in the west NC NW Ga area. We will definitely be back. Owner was very grateful and quite helpful.

This house was perfect for us! Thereā€™s a large fenced backyard and a nice creek that runs behind the house. The kids went up the street and put the tubes in and rode the creek down to the house. They had so much fun. It exceeded our expectations.

Creek side, dog friendly, so peaceful!

The house and property are perfect for anyone who loves nature, peace and quiet! Put on some water shoes and get in the creek...tubes provided that you can rope off or walk 5 minutes down the road, get in the creek and float down to the house. Fenced yard for your pups. Completely screened in huge back porch that is accessible through the 2 bedrooms and living room. We ate out there most nights. Fire pit is right by the creek, steps from the house with 4 seats (2 extra seats in fenced yard). We have stayed at a lot of vrbos and this ones is the nicest, cleanest and most spot on in the descriptions of the property. We had a great time and would love to stay here again!

MEMORIAL WEEKEND TRIP

We had another great stay at this great property. Looking at the next booking for next trips #3 and #4.Weā€™ve been going to Murphy 2-3 times per year, for 10years. Every rental was good, with multiple stays. This one is the best for family, pets, convenience to daily needs, and not far from Casino.

Always A Pleasure

This was our third stay at the cabin. For the first time, we brought a daughter and grandson as well as the dogs. Everybody enjoyed themselves immensely. The cabin is perfect for us as well as the family. The grandson and dogs loved the creek. We had a really good vacation! We will be back. Sandy is a great host.

Nice Mountain Escape

Perfect for dogs!

The experience here was top-notch! Instructions were clear, the place was incredibly clean, and very welcoming. We appreciated the bottle of champagne and dog toys waiting on us. The screened in porch is a godsend and the fenced in area for the dogs is perfect. The amount of attention to details throughout the entire place was carefully considered and well executed. It has everything you need and more.We will book again 100%!!!

Christmas getaway

The house was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Nice house to stay in when traveling with pets- The fenced in doggie area was great. They even provide a dog toy which was very thoughtful!! We really enjoyed sitting on the screened porch or by the fire pit listening to the creek- it was so peaceful!!

Perfect Thanksgiving getaway!

The house was the perfect, relaxing, peaceful getaway! Very quiet and serene. The property layout was excellent for two of our family members who are senior citizens. Definitely looking for dates in 2025 to book again! Will definitely be back!

Best vacation rental we have experienced in a long time. Perfect location and the home was perfect for our needs. The scree porch was peacefulness of the creek.we enjoyed the fire pit and we toasted marshmallows and just enjoyed the beauty of the the area. The leaves were beautiful. We loved the place and plan to return again next year. Absolutely beautiful and we loved it!!!!
